Stayed for spring break. The house was amazing and the host were great. There was five of us and our dog. Plenty of room and the boys loved being able to swim. The view out back was perfect especially at sunset. Definitely will be back.

Communication, cozy & clean space with ease of access were the favorite features at the top of the list for this stay. We are grateful for the supplies, extra towels and bedding as well as the opportunity to bring our family pet along. Would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a place just outside the city with plenty of outdoor space and close fishing spots.

The Little Red Cabin is absolutely perfect. Extremely clean and stocked up with almost anything you could need. Lots of extra blankets, candy bowl, full kitchen of dishes, board games, and even a complimentary bottle of wine! Another great feature is they are dog friendly. We were affected by an ice storm and lost our power for 5 days, so being able to easily extend our stay on a daily basis was amazing. They responded very quickly to any questions I had and were very welcoming and helpful. I will definitely be staying again soon.

The Bhombay Beach House on Sandy Lake Huron~!

We loved everything about the Bhombay Beach House! It was private, cozy, and super clean. We appreciated the full kitchen (coffeemaker/coffee, full-sized fridge, stove, microwave, dishes, glassware, and utensils), since we like to save $$$ by making breakfast while on vacation. Bob was very responsive without being intrusive. He provided extra amenities without our asking (umbrellas and nighttime snacks!). The large-screen TV included Netflix ... lots of DVDs, too. The views of the beach (Lake Huron) from the living room and kitchen were gorgeous. It was too chilly to use the firepit, but we walked the beach on our last day, which was lovely. LOVED being so close to the water! We were just up the street from the ferry to Mackinac Island. We had never been, and it didn't disappoint. Horse-drawn carriages, the Grand Hotel, funky restaurants, lots of bicycles, fudge! Make sure to visit Bob (and Thom's) store, Cottage UP. Great finds! In short, a perfect stay in every way. Many thanks.

very friendly host! Anna was messaging me far in advance if the stay. she provided a helpful warning of the apple festival downtown that disrupted traffic. She offered local tips on things to do and was helpful overall. nice place for a family to stay with young kids.

We had such a great time at the Blue Pearl Cottage. We stayed for a girls trip and truly enjoyed ourselves with the special amenities like hot tubs, robes, and beautiful views. Mark was amazing and responsive to any questions we had. Love this place and we will definitely be back.

Mark and Mary’s cottage was perfect for our family getaway. It’s perfectly located in close proximity to Bay Harbor, Petoskey, and Harbor springs with no shortage of things to see and do. The property itself is great for families with the lake access and we were pleasantly surprised with a very nice sized dog enclosure! We would highly recommend visiting their place and will likely be back ourselves!

Pete’s Retreat Springtime & Summertime Blooming!

My wife and I were looking for a fall weekend getaway and this place worked beautifully. The home has a bit of an old school feel, which we really enjoy. The view from the HUGE picture window, overlooking the secluded lake surrounded by the stunning fall foliage was worth the price alone! There were two kayaks and a boat with electric motor, an outdoor firepit with a wagonload of free wood (you can't use the indoor wood burning stove though) and plenty of comfortable beds. Leslie was extremely responsive and friendly too as we chatted on the phone a couple of times during our stay. The place is well stocked with everything needed and is very neat, tidy, and clean. Two eating areas with our fav; a large table overlooking the water! On this October weekend, the lake was pretty much devoid of people (but included geese, ducks, and various birds). A couple of great homestyle restaurants within two minutes (one closes at 2pm!) were right up our alley and Gaylord is 12 minutes away! LOVED!!

Shanty Creek Great Family Home Close to Ski, golf

My family and I really enjoyed Brian’s place. There was plenty of room for all our ski gear and only 3 mins to the mountain. Having access to the Schuss hot tub was a bonus. There are plenty of board games available and the internet worked well. This has been one of our favorite Airbnbs during the ski season.

This house has everything we needed, and it was near Mackinac City. The house was affordable and very clean, the recommendations were beyond any I had ever seen at any other house . I would easily rent this house again. So much room for all of us and plenty of bathrooms. And CLEAN!!! Beautiful house and peaceful. I can’t say enough good things.
