Family-friendly holiday rentals in Mullins Beach

Fabulous house, very ample and spacious. Beautiful rooms, nice view from the balcony and a peaceful garden with the hot tub. There are many homely touches like having freezer packs and a cool bag to hand, as well as a fully equipped kitchen, and even a bbq! There is even a clothes washing and drying area which includes a sink and clothes lines and an outside shower for when returning from the nearby snorkelling beaches. Lulled to sleep by the sound of cicadas and woken by a dawn chorus. Hummingbirds, fireflies and swallows complemented the evening from the tub! Lovely atmosphere in the common areas, with live music, a happy hour and a mix of local and international dishes on the menu. It could do with a sign to help locate the house in the dark. During the daytime there was some construction or maintenance noise from other houses on the resort (December), but that is out of anyone’s control, and it was over by 4 o’clock. Rooms are very light, which meant we woke at dawn at 6am.

This was my first time staying at an AirBnB in Barbados after several visits to either family members or hotels while visiting the island. My entire family (wife, 2 kids and my mom) were all highly impressed as were friends and family who visited us. The pool was perfect, the beach was amazing and listening to the waves on the balcony became a way for all of us to find peace and quiet. The security was friendly and informative. Our host Jameela was an ANGEL! We have many travel struggles getting to the island and she was always responsive, supportive and helpful. The cleaning lady was so friendly and did an awesome job. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are back in Barbados!!!

This was our 2nd time staying at Mistle Cove….what a fantastic place….perfectly situated for everything. We walked the GAP every day! The Dining options in the Area are fantastic and there are grocery stores close by to get anything else you may need….and that view on the balcony!!! We stared and watched the sea turtles for hours!

My family of 3 really enjoyed our stay! It was our first time on Barbados and the location was perfect — on a hill with lovely evening breezes, 5 minutes drive from the beach and close to tons of restaurants. We arrived in the evening and keys were available for us in the guardhouse — checkin was very easy. The supermarket in Holetown, 10 mins away, had everything we wanted to stock up for breakfasts and snacks. The property was just as pictured and described — we felt very comfortable from the start. It was nice to have mid-stay cleaning, which included laundered sheets and towels. We so appreciated having access to the beach club near by — it was always easy to park at the beach and nice to have help getting set up on deck chairs w an umbrella right by the water. We had helpful and responsive communication throughout. We would be happy to stay here again and to recommend it to friends!

The place is beautiful with a spectacular view of the ocean from the porch. Jeff & Vikki could not have been more helpful before I arrived and during my stay. Everything I needed was there and everything worked. The entire experience was comfortable and beautiful -- so easy.

I have recently returned from a wonderful week-long stay at Wayne’s property. The apartment provided a true home-away-from-home experience. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Patrick, who offered valuable information about the apartment and the area. The apartment was clean and equipped with all the necessities for our family vacation, including toiletries, beach towels, sun loungers, and access to a lovely pool. The beautiful beach is just a five-minute walk from the apartment, while a supermarket is a 15-minute walk away in Oistins. Additionally, the bus stop is only a two-minute walk, providing a quick seven-minute ride to St. Lawrence Gap. Wayne was very prompt and responsive in his communication both prior to and during our stay. This was our fifth visit to Barbados, we found the property to be reasonably priced, we would certainly be delighted to stay at Wayne's property again in the future. Thank you for your generous hospitality.

This was our third stay at 6a The Palisades. We love that part of the island and The Palisades is a perfect location for our favourite beach - Enterprise

We throughly enjoyed our time at Brian's place, for the below reasons: Well equipped kitchen - Brian's place has everything a home kitchen would have and more. The place is walkable to Oistins and The Gap (15-20mins each). Supermarket 15min walk away. Convenience store 5min walk away. The place is right on a quiet beach.

Our second stay. We love the location and working with Lex. If you want beach front access walkable to Freights ( 1.2 miles) the grocery store and a taxi stand you found the perfect spot.

This was our second stay at Paradise Villa and, as before, we were not disappointed. The welcome basket was very much appreciated. We enjoyed being out on the patio and relaxing in the hammock when we weren’t at the beach which was about a five minute drive away. This is definitely a home away from home that we will be visiting again.

We had a fabulous stay at Paolo's , the house was better than the photos in a great location . Paolo was an excellent host , very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, we could not have asked for a better host . Thank you for a great fortnight and making our stay so special .

We had a wonderful months stay in Elizabeth's cottage. We felt at home as soon as we stepped inside. The kitchen was very well equipped. Super comfy beds and lovely bed linen and plenty of towels. It was extremely clean and we loved the outside space. The locals were so friendly and we always felt safe. Elizabeth's Dad, Tommy was near if needed and Heather did a wonderful job cleaning each week. Had some great chats ! Missing the sunshine and having breakfast on the veranda. You can see the sea from the cottage and be swimming in 5 minutes! There is a great fish market at the end of the road where the fish is so fresh. We visited last year and stayed in a hotel but staying in a cottage for us was so much more enjoyable. We did hire a car as we wanted to explore the island but it's not a necessity. Thank you, Elizabeth, would love to return in the future.

We loved the property and the location is absolutely breathtaking. You are waterfront with the most amazing views. Ruth was so accommodating and so super sweet as we landed very late, where no stores were open, she was kind enough to do some light grocery shopping for us to make sure that we had breakfast the next morning. Our family loved it!!! Looking forward to rebooking next!!

Kathryn and Sheilah were amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we have the most pleasant stay. They were always checking up on us ensuring we were okay. The house was just a described very easy to access by public transport and to get around. The house is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. It was such a lovely stay and we would definitely stay again. We had an incident with an awful taxi driver from the airport and they supported us the whole way through and covered our taxi back to the airport. I would definitely recommend.

Lorna’s house exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed, making us feel like we’d arrived at our own holiday home. The house is much bigger than it looks in the pictures, beautifully equipped, and the pool and garden were perfect for relaxing - we wished we’d stayed longer! The location is fantastic, with mostly locals in the area, and Crane Beach less than a 10-minute walk away - great for a morning run, though the water wasn’t the calmest. The bus stop and a local shop are also just minutes away. The hosts were amazing - so helpful and incredibly responsive, always replying within minutes whenever we had a question. It made our stay even smoother and more enjoyable. We’ve already recommended this place to friends visiting in April, and we’ll definitely be back. Thank you, Lorna, for an amazing stay!

We had a great time at Catherine's place. She's an awesome hostess, ultra fast communication , met us at the property (first time this happens to me at an Airbnb) and walked us thru everything. Gave us all kinds of tips and recommendations. We would recommend this condo and would definitely consider coming back. Thank you!

Rodney was the best host I’ve ever encountered on Airbnb. Started with an amazing welcome and got better by the day. He was always on hand to give us tips and advice. And helped us navigate the hotspots in more than one occasion. Ie getting to Oisten market early and where to eat when we got there to avoid LONG waits! Will be excited to book another stay in this amazing apartment.

The location was great, in walking distance to beaches and lots of bars and restaurants. The unit was very cozy and had everything you needed. The checkin was extremely easy with clear instructions. There was cleaning provided in the middle of our stay that was great. Checkout was even easier than checkin. Highly recommend this place.

The place was clean and easy to find, in a quiet area and Helen was waiting on arrival to give me the keys and let me in. The studio is close to both the beach and access to a residents pool. There is a supermarket and bars/restaurants nearby. would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay in holetown and would stay again if needing somewhere to stay in holetown.

What a perfect week! Glenn and Pat were extremely helpful with information regarding taxis, car hire and also events to go to so we could make the most of our experience. However the most important thing for us was having a great, relaxing place to stay and they definitely gave us that. The whole place was clean and had everything we needed for cooking meals and enjoying the quiet pool area. The area the house is situated in is very quiet making the it a great place for couples or families, we've recommended to our friends and will most likely be staying there again on our next trip to Barbados

I cannot say enough good things about Ray's condo! It is truly the PERFECT PLACE to stay, the listing doesn't do it justice. The condo grounds were beautiful, well-maintained and very safe which was especially important to me as I was traveling with an infant. We had 6 adults plus the infant in the condo and still had plenty of space. The condo is beautifully furnished - the beds are comfortable, and all furniture was in great condition. The kitchen was well stocked, so we were able to make meals at home when we weren't out enjoying the local restaurants. Ray provided recommendations for local restaurants and shopping, which was very helpful. The main grocery store is about a 30-minute walk, but there's a market really close that you can pick up some essentials. No need to rent a car - the pools and the beach right outside your door are picture perfect and some of the best on the island. We had the best time at Rays condo and if we ever go back to Barbados we'll stay again.

A really lovely house, beautiful location. Very well appointed and spotlessly clean. Really spacious, and the layout/ levels facilitates multi guests having a perfect balance between being together but with total privacy The best aircon I’ve ever encountered. A beautifully different perspective on barbados- remote, but not isolated. With much better connectivity across the island than I expected. Perfect.
