"The Barn" Copper Beech Farm

Copper Beech farm is a family run dairy farm set in a peaceful rural setting, close to the bustling town of Kinsale. "The Barn" and "The Loft" are 19th Century stone barns which have been beautifully restored and converted into self contained holiday cottages. Many of the original features have been retained i.e Exposed stone walls, Timber panelled ceilings and Wooden floors. All modern conveniences have been fitted to ensure our guests have all the comforts of home. Children are especially welcome and will enjoy the fresh air, freedom and space that a farming environment has to offer, and a safe children's playground will keep them busy for hours. Outdoors there are large mature gardens with lawns, shrubs and trees. There is ample parking for cars. Your hosts, Michael & Eileen Sheehan are always on hand to assist you in any way possible, so if it's a short stay in the countryside visiting the old world town of Kinsale or a longer holiday exploring wonderful West Cork, you will find our location and facilities ideal for a truly enjoyable holiday.

Kilkenny Isolated Fairy Hideaway in Converted Barn

This week we found ourselves making raspberry jam from our first crop. The wild blueberries, (fraocháns), are looking promising too. A very private woodland retreat located in a two-hundred year old restored barn with its own kitchen, bathroom and woodburning stove. Sleep late in the hand-made bed, read a book by the fire, stroll the ancient footpaths in the private fairy woods on the property. Located in south County Kilkenny, offering a home base for those exploring Ireland's Ancient East.

Kate's Barn. Quiet 19th Century Country Barn.

Restored 2 storey grain barn, with all the original beams and stonework. 10 minutes from Callan. Kilkenny city is 25 minutes away and Cashel is 35 minutes. Clonmel 25 minutes. Down a short laneway. Lots of trees and pleasant countryside. We have cows and sheep here. Complimentary free range eggs and fresh spring water from our well. Friendly dogs, who love people! The bedroom area is 40ft and subdivided into three bedrooms with curtains. You will be assured of a friendly warm welcome.

Beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

"Stable Cottage"

"Stable Cottage" is an old traditional style, converted stone barn, near our historic old farmhouse. It retains many original features such as the original old natural slated roof, old beams, pine boarded floors, exposed original stone walls etc. etc.. It is very quiet and peaceful, on a small working tillage farm. Originally, it was the stable where the horses were sheltered and fed for the winter months while the wheat, feed oats etc was stored on the loft overhead.

Recently renovated, this stylish, open plan barn conversion is set in the idyllic rural landscape of County Clare. It adjoins my 150 year old stone farmhouse, and offers a self-contained holiday space ideal for those who like peace and quiet 'off the beaten track'. This countryside accommodation is 5 minutes drive from Fethard Town where the chippers and Chinese do deliver to the property. 25/30 minutes drive to larger towns Clonmel, Cahir and Cashel . 45 minutes drive to Kilkenny and Waterford cities .
