A cottage in nature, next to good fish by the waters.

Peaceful cottage, on the shore of a fishy river. By car, you can't get to the yard, but you can leave the car in the parking lot where you can walk about a kilometer marked path. In the winter season, you can ski from the parking lot or you can buy transportation on a snowmobile separately. The cottage does not have basic heat but a wood fireplace. The cabin does not have electricity or running water. The nearest shop is 20km away in Heta. the father-in-law gives a slightly wrong address but correct in the instructions @ gold beetle mock

Log cabin on the banks of the Ounas River

Come and enjoy the nature and peace of Lapland by the Ounasjoki River. A small log cabin in Kittilä's Alakylä with sleeping places for 3-4 people, a sauna and a kitchen-living room. The cottage is located in the same yard where the hosts also live. In the yard, a BBQ house that guests have free use. On the beach, a wood-heated sauna, which we charge 30 euros for heating in the summer and 40 euros in the winter season (includes firewood, washing water and detergents, towels and petals). The cottage was built in 1989.

Cottage by the Ounasjoki River

An electrified, clean cottage by the river Ounas, next to the village of Raattama (2 miles). Ca.25m2 + loft, spreadable sofa, accommodates 3-4. For a quiet, self-sustaining traveller. Water must be carried from the river or from the neighbour's fresh-water well , drinking water to be boiled or brought along. Wooden sauna under the same roof, combustable toilet in the courtyard building. Great views to the river, glazed terrace. Beautiful trails of Pallas and Vuontis, fishing waters etc. nearby.

Private log cabin in the middle of Finnish nature

Almost a hundred years old log cabin that's been renovated to fit some modern needs. The cabin consists of a large kitchen/living room area and two bedroom which both have beds for two people. Couch in the living room can also be turned into a double bed. There is an indoor dry toilet, also outside toilet. The cabin does have electricity and is equipped with e.g. tv and a microwave. There is both a gas stove and a wood-burning stove. There is no running water, water point is 50 meters away

You can get there by car, but you don't have to see anyone during your entire stay if you don't want to, but you're still only about 45 minutes from the city center.
