Cottage holiday rentals in Naivasha

Great location close to the lakefront as described. Also there is Carnellys restaurant nearby. Check-in was smooth and the host was responsive. We enjoyed the brunch at the garden area. Overall good stay! Thank you.

My friends and I ushered in 2025 here. It was a really good place with amazing views of fireworks. The bonfire was always lit and the jacuzzi always hot! Not ideal for more than 4 couples though (unless you don’t mind being in each other’s space). The chef did a fantastic job! 👌

The house and grounds are gorgeous, old atyle colonial feel. Beautiful views, lots of space, very safe. Roof leaked a little with rain. Workers were awesome. Great place for a family reunion.

Nice place near to Lake Elementaita. Only 100 meters walking. The staff, Harrison and Lea are very helpfull and kind. What you ask, they arrange for you. In the evening we enjoy campfire on the lake. Good breakfast and dinner. It’s a nice stay for the price you pay. We hope to come back.

Our stay in Lynn's place was absolutely wonderful. All the place was really cozy and spacious. Bedroom was for sure much bigger than it seems in pictures and also really cute with all the lights. Shishi Wanjiku made our stay really special. She was so nice and she made us the best dinner and breakfast, which we had during our trip on Kenya. We made a fire in fireplace and enjoyed our food. It was truly amazing experience there. :)

Cosy home right on the highway just in case you're using public means and still quiet once inside. The rooms were all ensuite. Our host Wambui was very helpful together with the chef Juma at an extra cost but worth it. The pool is beautiful and the bonfire and mbuzi choma were great. Carry warm clothes it gets cold at night. I would stay there again.

Wonderful stay for 2 people in a very special place

Great place to explore Naivasha and Mt Longonot. The house and the area are amazing, and very quiet. This is a great place to disconnect if you are coming from busy Nairobi. The house has everything you need to spent few days and relax

My girlfriend and I stayed at the cottage for one night as a base to explore Naivasha Lake. We had an incredible two days and the cottage was one of the highlights of the trip. Very cosy, beautiful surroundings, everything we needed. Will definitely stay again when we come back to the area.

Such a great stay! The bedroom was lovely and bed very comfortable. All I needed was there and the surroundings are more beautiful than the pictures show! I really enjoyed waking up with the sunrise and hanging out with Friederich and the animals, even milking a cow! Instructions about accessing the field/lake view may need a bit more direction. I did not find the guard at the gate but in the field and he explained I could have also went for a walk by evening to observe the hippos grassing. From the explanation in the book it stated not safe to go out really so unsure what was the right information. The guard also asked for a tip so he could have breakfast. He was really friendly so I did but instructions of whether this is suggested or not could be helpful. I didn't use WiFi as I had personal data but only after I booked I saw this could be patchy - would be better if stated before booking as well. Anyways these are really tiny details compared to the amazing stay. Will be back!

Such a resourcefully and creatively plotted little property. I couldn't believe how much the place offers and how homely and locally they went with their decor. Can't wait to visit again in the future.

Lovely cottage exactly as shown in the photos. The compound is quite beautiful too. Visited with family and would come back again. Good proximity to the places we planned to visit and of course to Naivasha town. Marvin is a great and helpful host. The staff were helpful too. Shiku the chef is pleasant but her food was bland.
