Loft holiday rentals in Namib Desert

Ilse was incredibly kind and helpful, had a safe and lovely place.

Second stay. It's nice to be away from town. Game park along highway nearby has different antelope.

I would definitely recommend to stay here. We ended up staying in the place a lot sadly due to food poisoning (tip: don't book the main catamaran charaters boat trip in walvis bay...) and we found it a very comfortable room to be in, so if bad luck with the weather, one can still braii etc. and enjoy the space as it feels very homey. There are more rooms here if travelling with a few people as well. Was clean, friendly staff, had everything required, everything working. Lynette and her husband are really so so friendly and helpful with advice and even offered medication when sick and checking in etc. which was not at all required and they still did it as they really are just so very kind.

An ideal stop-over. Beautiful area, lovely walks. Clean and quiet, had everything we needed.

The host was always available via phone and text, everything went very smoothly and not only is the apartment beautiful (great view), but also the location is excellent. Would definitely stay there again.

We had a great stay! The location is central and easy to reach. We only stayed for one night but it is a cozy place and we would have felt well staying longer.

The stay was everything we needed and more. Perfect location and it had good security. Would stay here again.

Katja's place is clean, quiet and well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. Katja provided me with the services needed and requested. Katja was available when required to answer questions and provide guidance. I was there on a work visit and had long hours on the jobsite. She was not impacted by the early departures nor late returns to the location. One piece of advice for foreign visitors - most of her receptacles in the unit are a Type M. I had limited quantity of Type M adaptors as other locations in Namibia also use a Type D. Recommendation for travelers is to take a few of each type of plug adaptor to Namibia to be fully prepared for what you encounter. Katja had one power strip with multiple conversions in the spaces to allow for electrical connections. Another traveler warning is that the internet connections in Namibia are intermittent and much slower than other locations. Katja's internet connection is typical for Namibia.

Stayed a few days. Walking distance to amenities. Easy to have Yango cars pick up and drop off. I was very comfortable. Good value for the price.
