We stayed at Janet’s place for a couple of nights and had a great experience. She’s a warm, friendly, and thoughtful host. The suite is beautifully decorated and well-equipped with everything you might need for a short stay. The location is excellent—close to the beaches and downtown Gibsons. We truly enjoyed our time and highly recommend it to future guests.

Everyone in our family enjoyed our stay in Judy's place. It's well stocked, comfortable, and clean. We enjoyed the games and had time to even use the BBQ in the back. Definitely would recommend this place. All the rooms had comfortable, large beds.

From the moment we contacted Jane, she was welcoming and kind. We found everything we needed in her home. Our dogs loved the local walks and so did we! It was so comfortable, from the beds to the living room, we didn’t want to leave!

Salish Peaks Escape is a stunning retreat tucked away in a peaceful, picturesque neighborhood. The home is spacious, impeccably maintained, and equipped with top-notch amenities. The kitchen and appliances were in excellent condition, making meal prep a breeze. One of the most memorable experiences was enjoying the sunrise and sunset from the patio—made even more magical by visits from a friendly family of deer. If you're looking for a serene, rejuvenating getaway surrounded by nature, I highly recommend this beautiful escape.

This was a great location for our Vancouver island adventures. Pretty central to what we wanted to do. Cathedral Grove was close enough for us to visit multiple times, and the trip over to the Pacific coast was about what we wanted. Great hosts, were very quick to respond, and extremely helpful. House was great for our family, good amount of space, and lots of activities to do on rest days. Would stay here again if we ever come back to explore the area more.

We were blown away by this stay! Such a beautiful home, with gorgeous views. Very spacious and comfortable for our party of five. We wish we could have stayed longer :)

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

Our second time here!! Amazing amazing stay we can’t recommend it enough. Perfect getaway for the summer and was very cozy in the winter. We are definitely coming back❤️

Nicole’s “carriage house” is exactly as described, absolutely beautiful, peaceful and private. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry, bathroom etc. Nicole has thought of everything you may need. We loved our 4 night stay and visit around the island, then to come back each day to relax at the carriage house. 10/10

Nadine was a great host; she was responsive and provided us with extra toilet paper once we ran out. Her place looks just like the photos and was very cozy and comfortable and clean. My husband and I enjoyed the kitchen and slept well in the comfy bed. There was also a nice selection of teas and a stocked kitchen (pots, pans, utensils, etc.). Overall very lovely stay; a real home away from home vibe. Would stay again!

This was the most incredible little escape! The apartment was spotless, beautifully set up, and had everything I needed. The pull-out couch was comfortable, and the main bed was perfect for a great night’s sleep. The view from the front yard is absolutely stunning, with mountains that take your breath away. It is also so central, making it easy to get around Nanaimo. The owners are very friendly and welcoming, and their sweet big dog greeted me warmly from the upper deck, which made it feel even more like home. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and beautiful getaway!

We had a wonderful stay, it was better than expected. The house and location is absolutely gorgeous. The layout is perfect for two family’s. It was just myself and my son and his partner however we enjoyed the privacy of having our bedrooms and bathrooms on different floors. We had a deer visit us one morning as well. The only issue we had was with the ferry from the mainland. It took us 10 hours to get here. I went to reserve a spot on the ferry but they were sold out three days out. I wish I knew to do it much sooner. So we had to wait all day. Coming back was easier. This was the Easter long weekend and perhaps would have been absolutely fine any other time. In any case , I highly recommend this listing.

We enjoyed the stay a lot. The house had the best view of the ocean and it was so relaxing sitting at the balcony everyday to enjoy the view . The host was super helpful. I had some issue with my phone and couldn’t check in with the keypad. Katherine came in 15mins to make sure I could get in. Super responsive and helpful host!

I had a lovely two nights stay. It was quiet, peaceful and serene . The property is beautiful. I felt like it was my home for two days. The delicious granola , fresh eggs, fruit and yogurt, coffee, etc. was a perfect addition to a wonderful stay. The bed was cosy and the sheets and duvet were cosy as well. The kitchen had everything you needed. Thank you so much for providing such a tranquil place to stay.

We really enjoyed our stay! The space was charming and clean, and set a perfect vibe for this leg of our island getaway. We would absolutely stay again next time we visit Parksville.

Loved the view of the ocean from the various decks. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen well stocked with utensils , nice touch with the comfort mat in front of kitchen sink. Over all we were extremely pleased with our week stay. Paul was most helpful anytime I reached out to him. We hope to return, in the future, to this home on the sea.

Liz’s house is amazing. First, Liz is great. She’s warm, attentive, a quick communicator and an all-around nice and interesting woman. She has created a remarkable “retreat” in a large, comfortable, beautiful house. It’s a house with personality unlike some newer AirBnbs that are cookie cutter with zero personality. Extra special for the seven of us were the magical goats, the pregnant British Shepherd and other dogs and cats. We had so much fun feeding peanuts to the goats and giving treats to the dogs. The outdoor gardens are lovely and colorful. Three little barns in the distance and the perimeter of the house and deck are lit up at night with sweet lights! The kitchen has lots of good stuff that made our shopping easier, the bathrooms are well supplied with everything you could need. We loved the house and thought of it as home for our lovely week on Vancouver Island! Thanks Liz!!
