Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nanyuki

Very modern and comfortable place. The amenities within the house are great although I'd upgrade some cooking pans and utensils. Very peaceful and safe. Would have been cool to have a little pool maybe to have something extra to do as it takes some time on the rocky road. Fred and Joseph, the caretakers, were very good and helped with all of our needs. Sean was also very communicative. I would recommend it for a short getaway from the cities and to do safari in Ol Pejeta.

We loved our stay at Lavender Villa, it was clean, peaceful and Mary was very attentive. There were more amenities available than we expected which was a nice surprise too! We would recommend it without hesitation.

We had a great stay at Sarah's place. It was just the time and space we needed to have a quiet night away as a family. It really did have an above-ground pool, which was clean and very nice. The kitchen was well-stocked, decorations were nice, and beds and furniture comfortable. Towels were big, and extra blankets were there. Had all the essentials (and more). It was a cozy place, and was perfectly suited to our needs.

The Landing is an exquisite haven of tranquility and privacy. The photos simply cannot capture its true beauty. From the cottage, you’re treated to stunning views of Mt. Kenya, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The place was clean and thoughtfully prepared for our stay. I enjoyed a truly wonderful weekend and will definetly return. Anne was incredibly responsive and accommodating, addressing all our needs seamlessly. The staff was also exceptionally helpful, ensuring that every request was met. A beautiful place for sure and worth the experience.

Beautiful place

Words can’t describe how relaxing I found my stay at Elizabeth’s residence. It’s a wonderful hidden oasis set in a tucked away location near Mount Kenya forest - waking up to wonderful views of Mount Kenya in the morning after making my coffee was sublime. Her staff were so helpful and kind, nothing seemed too much for them. Thanks for a wonderful stay, I hope to visit again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay here. Laureen was particularly helpful, kind & a great communicator. The staff led by house keeper lady by name stella was really kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay there and definitely will be back. Kudos Janet, Laureen & the team. Good work and great place you have

An absolute gem, photos don't do it justice. Super friendly staff and hosts, wish we could of stayed longer! 100% recommend, sauna and plunge pool are a great addition. We text Richard the caretaker while we ate breakfast and he fired up the sauna for us. Tommy the dog and his farm animal friends just added to the experience. A perfect private retreat for a peaceful weekend. Thanks to Felix and Yasmin also for letting us have a look around the main house, stunning design and architecture

The place is so nice

We booked Elizabeth's place to disconnect from Nairobi and we ended up extending one more night because we were so comfortable and relaxed. Elizabeth was really communicative from the beginning sending us all the instructions and recommendations of what to do. Since we didn't have a car and we arrived with a public matatu late at night, she made sure we arrived well, and we were very thankful for Mwenda and Faith for waiting for us and arranging travel so late at night. The place is beautiful and quiet, the views of Mt. Kenya are excellent, everything was really clean, with lots of amenities and we felt totally at home. We spent our days cooking, reading and stargazing at night next to the fire. There are definitely things to do around (safari at Ol Pejeta, the Ndare Ndare Forest, and many more) but for us, staying put was the best. Overall, I definitely recommend Elizabeth's place for your activities in Nanyuki, or just as an escape spot.
