We really enjoyed our stay here. The cottage was spacious and well located right on the Kumano Kodo path. It was warm at night and had excellent hot water. The host was very helpful when we had trouble with a sensor light going off during the night- it was fixed the next day. The kitchen was large and well equipped with lots of sauces and condiments you could use, which I really appreciated. Unfortunately the area around the stove still had food remains from previous occupants when we arrived and I had to give it a good clean up. It was excellent value for money. Id definitely recommend it.

Asuka and Hisae san 's 100 year old traditional house is much more than just an Airbnb listing for guests to sleep over. It offers me and my family of 4 a much desired peaceful getaway in a mountainside offering peace and tranquility in our 18 days trip throughout central Japan. We love the fire place, the woodfire bath tub and the entire house. Hisae-san, living next door is the most attentive and helpful host I have ever encountered. I know so much about her and the histroy of the house during our short 3 days of interaction. The weather was cold for us, but her warmth and the beautiful surroundings makes our stay so comfortable. For anyone who wishes to get away from the hustle and bustle of nearby Kyoto / Osaka, this is one place that you need to stay in, to meditate, to just do nothing and unwind. We will definitely be back if given an opportunity, perhaps during spring or autumn.

It was my second visit, but I had a great time again. As always, the host is warm and friendly, and the kids still want to stay here for days!It looked unfortunate.I can't wait to visit again.

I and my family are very satisfied with this home-style hotel, very neat and clean, fully equipped with household items.There is a private parking lot, self drive first class, good value for money, there is a supermarket just across the road, the response and arrangement is efficient.Two families of 4 are also adequate to live in.Would highly recommend.

It’s really a great place to stay. The view is good and the experience is unique. We are so happy to stay here for two nights and we recommend others to stay here for at least 2 nights - so that you can enjoy both the nighttime and daytime view.

This is a very special place to stay. The hosts took care of us like family. They picked us up at the train station. The breakfast was huge and very delicious. We had a wonderful day of sightseeing and had homemade pizza in the evening. The hosts definitely deserve a ten star rating. I want to stay there again.

We used it for offsite Mtg of the company. It's a very private space. A team of 6 people can have a Mtg in the room. We also had a warm and welcoming stay outside at the BBQ. They came to pick us up at the meeting point. He was kind enough to guide and guide the accommodation, and carefully taught how to use it. I think we had a really great time staying here.Thank you!!!
