Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Narigama Beach

Wonderful place to stay in Unawatuna. Close to everything, easy to get bus/Tuktuk but such a peaceful environment gorgeous house and gardens. Lovely dogs who were so quiet at night. Ajith was really helpful and accommodating to extra requests. Lovely breakfast each morning.

We arrived at three o'clock in the morning and met us like family. The hosts are very attentive and helpful. If you want to stay a little in the rainforest, watch parrots, squirrels, insects, look at plants, then this place is a great place. The veranda is located, so that you can enjoy the view of the vegetation and create a sense of privacy. Breakfast deserves special attention, time can be negotiated in advance, as it was convenient for us. There was always delicious Ceylon tea, fruit shakes, and the dishes were delicious with a local feel, new and varied every day. Now about the house and its hostess. An interesting design (which is why we chose it) for three friends was comfortable and cozy in it for three friends in it. The reality was better than the picture in the app. The host responded to our requests, all of our needs were met. Intika surrounded us with care and attention. We cooked dinners ourselves, either on the grill in the yard or in the kitchen at home. The evenings were spent on the veranda. They clean the house, if we wish, also change towels. There is a washing machine, the hostess will be happy to show you how to use the appliances. And dry things. What was very good for us is the beach. Wide coastline, great water temperature and minimum people. Unlike the other end of the beach. 12 minutes walk, we really liked these walks, there is an opportunity to see the real life of the locals. The fruit market is 10 minutes away. The fish market is 15 minutes away. We were very satisfied with both the location and the price and of course the quality. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

It is always a pleasure when a stay lives up to expectations. Darshaka and his Family exceeded our expectations definitely. They were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. The location was close enough to the beach but very quiet except for birdsong and the odd monkey call. He also organised tours for us which were great. We will come again.

We have had a fantastic week here at Cococabana, with a spacious and well-equipped house, a park-like garden and a large and elegant swimming pool. In addition, the hosts Anne-Marie and Daniel are very positive and attentive, along with their pleasant staff. The dogs that live here are friendly and contribute to a great environment. When we arrived, we received a good overview of all the practicalities, and were met with a clean and delicate house, with fresh fruit and food in the fridge. We have been traveling around Sri Lanka for over two months, and this is without a doubt the most beautiful place we have stayed in. The property is located undisturbed right by the sea, but still only a nice walk or tuktuk ride to beaches, shops and restaurants. Here we have experienced everything we could wish for. We would be happy to return on a later occasion.

I had a great time staying at Waduge Amila's house. He and his wife were very friendly and accommodating. He bought me a toothbrush as I had forgotten mine, and his wife made me a delicious breakfast. The room was clean and tidy, complete with a powerful fan and mosquito net. I got some peaceful and much needed rest. I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

Amazing stay with the most wonderful staff. Thank you so much to Indi, Kelum and Anil for taking such good care of us. We stayed for over a month and we were made to feel at home for the whole stay. The space is perfect place to unwind. Located directly at the beach, the location is unbeatable and the large garden is also paradise. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. On the large grounds, we also got into conversation with a few regular guests who have been choosing this accommodation for many years. We absolutely understand why they keep coming back and would do the same. After a few days, we even had the feeling of belonging to the family and picked up coconuts together on our last day - that was really nice. Thanks for the hospitality and the great time! ✨

Villa Sublime lives up to its name. We spent a month in Sri Lanka travelling around AirBnB's and this was my favourite. The location is convenient but yet you feel a million miles away from other people. The grounds and the accommodation are immaculate and tasteful. Darshini is a great cook and so obliging, we were there to chill and we ate at the villa most days so we really availed ourselves of her wonderful Sri Lankan food. The pool was fabulous and it's so much fun to float about and watch the monkeys, peacocks, squirrels and birds. I would go back in a heartbeat, and I'm fussy. Highly recommended.

We loved staying here! Isuru and his family were so welcoming and helped us with everything we needed. They gave us good recommendations for food, surf instructors and snorkeling, and they made the most delicious breakfast for us every morning! The area is quiet which we really liked, and it took us five minutes to walk to the beach for surfing. If you’re into running/walking the area is perfect for this as well! We would definitely love to come back :)

Beautiful and clean place right at a wonderful and not crowded beach. Amazing breakfast with view of the ocean and super friendly and helpful host, who also organized a driver to Colombo for us the day we left. Very good restaurant in close walking distance, which had just newly opened: Ember Beach Hikkaduwa. Everything else is easily accessible via TukTuk.

A glorious stay. Most comfortable. Loved the plunge pool and it's setting. Delicious Sri Lankan breakfasts. We really enjoyed our stay with Dinesh. A beautiful home set in a magical garden setting with the birds and monkeys around. A short tuktuk ride into Galle or walk nearby restaurants. Enjoyed chatting with Dinesh who took the time to engage with us. Highly recommended.

We had another wonderful stay in the villa this year. This time I didn't book directly by the sea, but a little further back. The room was very big and the two beds were very comfortable. The terrace was a dream, where I could enjoy my coffee every morning at 7 a.m. with a great view of the sea. Breakfast was as delicious as always and really plentiful (great Sri Lankan breakfast on request) ❤️ The whole team is as helpful and friendly as always. You come as a guest and leave as a friend. Soorya Kala was our first accommodation in Sri Lanka, and I can only say it was the perfect start to our trip! The place is very modern, beautifully decorated, and absolutely clean. The location is a dream – right on the beach, with restaurants and shops within walking distance, and you can listen to the waves while falling asleep. The breakfast is included and incredibly delicious! But what impressed us the most was the hospitality from Nagulan and the whole team. We felt completely at home and would definitely recommend this place!

The space was just as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my trip was definitely the food! The dumplings and pancakes served at the property were absolutely delicious—highly recommend trying them. The flavors were incredible, and you can tell they were made with a lot of care. It was such a nice bonus to enjoy home-cooked meals during my stay. Bathiya went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time, offering local tips and being responsive to any questions I had. The location was perfect, with easy access to Beach and restaurants around making it the ideal spot for exploring the area. I truly appreciated Bathiya's hospitality and attention to detail. My stay at the Native was great. Diana and everyone who works there are so friendly and helpful. It was nice to be a little inland from the beach and see a different part of Weligama. Definitely walkable, but renting a scooter makes it more convenient. The breakfasts and coffee in the morning were all very delicious and a very nice added value to the room. Thank you for the great stay!
