Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Nesslau-Krummenau

We had a good stay and can recommend it. The house is very well equipped. Please offer larger towels in the future, otherwise this is a mild agony for adult men.

We had a wonderful two weeks at Chalet Balu and enjoyed every moment - the peace and quiet up there is incomparable, the nature incorruptible and the winter landscape fantastically clear. The chalet is absolutely recommendable!

Exceeded expectations! Fantastic location with amazing views. Wonderful access to hiking and activities. So much to do within 10 minutes drive. Complete privacy. Comfortable home with washer and dryer, dishwasher, comfortable beds, balcony, and nice shower. View of the surrounding valley, including the waterfall. Amazing host - provided fantastic ideas for hiking, bakeries, and other activities. Wish we had more than five days and hope to return. Worked very well with 4 people for a larger family. The deck and outdoor space was fantastic. An amazing part of the country made even better by a wonderful place to stay.

We had the best time at Franziska's homey cabin! It is amazing how good the amenities are, everything you need is available. The views are stunning and the house is indescribably beautiful inside and out. Making fires and cooking round off the stay here, you feel comfortable, slowed down and relaxed. 100% chance of repetition!

Nicole has thought of everything and has taken care of every small detail to ensure a wonderful stay! A welcome gift of chocolates and local honey were provided and really appreciated it. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, pans, utensils, drink ware and dinner ware. Paper towels, sponges, soap, cleaning supplies, spices, salt, pepper, sugar and more were all provided. There were plenty of extra blankets and towels which is something unique and very much appreciated. Nicole was responsive to every message and was even provided us with converter plugs because we forgot Switzerland has different outlets than Austria and Germany. The apartment was just as pictured with plenty of space and comfortable accommodations. The apartment is on the lower level of the house and has a terrace that opens to a lovely flat yard. We didn't hear any noise at all from the upstairs or from the road. The house is a short distance (1-2 min drive or 15 min drive) to downtown Flims. Highly recommend!

Beautiful, bright, and spotless apartment in a fantastic, walkable neighborhood. Extremely well appointed kitchen made it easy to prepare meals. Transportation, grocery store, and coffee shop within easy walking distance. Host Mark was friendly and responded quickly to our questions.

Wonderful apartment in a tranquille Alpine village. Beautifully decorated, extremely clean and probably with the most well equipped kitchen I've experienced during my many years as AirBnB guests. Overall - the apartment was _very_ generously equipped (not only the kitchen) in a way few apartments are. You'll have virtually everything you need, and more. Lots of space inside, seating areas, sofas etc and a breathtaking view over the village and the surrounding Alps. The ski lift is a very short walk away, and since there was not snow in the village we walked to the lift. Not a problem at all, it's super close. There's a small but very well equipped grocery store literally 3 min walk from the apartment.  The hosts were enormously helpful and generous. There was a bottle of delicious Prosecco and a handwritten letter waiting for us. Such a nice gesture - we felt instantly at home.  I'm giving this apartment my sincerest recommendations! Joe is the perfect host and provides his guests with helpful tips. The apartment was very well equipped, very clean and corresponds to the photos. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We had a magical week at Thomas’s place. The place was perfect in every way with the most beautiful views of the valley, wonderfully cozy and well appointed space. The sauna was definitely a perk! Thomas was an amazing host, went above and beyond, giving us the friendliest welcome and great recommendations. One of the best hosts we’ve encountered during our years with Airbnb! And Engelberg is a wonderful place, especially for families. The whole town is very child friendly in terms of the restaurants, playgrounds, and accessibility. We spent the whole time at Brunni which was perfect for our toddler in terms of bunny slopes and playgrounds (and a few blue and red runs for us). We took the bus a block from the apartment to the train station, then a quick transfer to a second bus, on the slopes in less than 15 minutes! Brunni has lockers so we stored all our equipment overnight. Hope we can make it back to Engelberg next season and stay at Thomas’s place!

- The kitchen is really modern and high quality, induction stove, dishwasher with lift function, oven with many programs. And also for cooking it has practically everything, well furnished. - Really comfortable bed, good mattress👍🏻 - Lovely cozy furnishings. - The skylights can be darkened really well.

Overall it was a beautiful place to stay. Jürgen helped us to feel like home.

Danielas Maiensäss is built and furnished with so much love... you immediately feel comfortable and at home. "Chlara" is unique and is very luxuriously equipped for a self-sufficient cottage. We enjoyed the evenings at the oven with fire. Daniela is a perfect host. Thanks Monika and Pascal

We had the great pleasure of celebrating Christmas at this beautiful cabin and it was just perfect! Stefanie went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable – already upon our arrival we were warmly welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine. The cabin was immaculately clean, tidy and furnished with a lot of love for detail. The cozy atmosphere, especially the crackling fireplace, has perfectly rounded off the rustic style. It was the ideal place to enjoy the holidays. We can highly recommend this property and will be happy to come back!
