John was great to work with and worked with us to meet our needs as we, unfortunately, were in town for a funeral. The house was great and had everything we needed. We appreciated very much the flexibility that John offered.

My husband and I wanted to get out of Philly for the weekend and we found Tara’s place last minute. The weather was rainy and cold but the cottage was still a perfect getaway for us! The view of the water by the backyard, the fully stocked kitchen, the comfy couch and king bed were just perfect! We hope to come back!

The enchanting town of Chesapeake city washes over your starting with check in at the pearl. Watching and tracking ships through the channel or finding the best locals night and party marina vibe added to the experience. Lovely walks and runs in the area Thank you

Overall very nice place to stay. Convenient location near to Bryn Mawr College and downtown. The apartment was clean and comfy. Dave was very responsive whenever we needed help and responded almost immediately, which was especially helpful when my 18-yo daughter got locked inside her bedroom accidentally (the lock on the door probably should be replaced). Dave coached us over the phone on how the gently jimmy the door without breaking anything.

We loved staying here. The location is beautiful and just a few doors down from the beach. The place was perfectly sized and clean. As a plus, Monica surprised us with a birthday bottle of wine and balloons as a gift. I highly recommend staying here!

Really well appointed, beautiful peaceful waterfront location, everything well thought out, yard games, swing and kayaking super fun for kids.

Our family had a great stay! We all loved the space, both indoors and out. And we loved experiencing multiple things to do in the surrounding area.

I recently just spent one month at Edward’s place and loved every minute of it. As other reviewers have noted, the layout is a little nontraditional, as you enter through a small sunroom and then go directly into the bedroom, then the living room/kitchen with the bathroom at the back. The kitchen was stocked with basic pots/pans, glassware, and dishes. The real gem of this listing is it’s location- it was next to a large park with many adorable dogs, the main strip of Chestnut Hill 2 min walk, a market, a playground, and easy parking around the vicinity. It offered a great home base to explore Philadelphia with good access to bus lines and the train if you did not have a car. Additionally, since I was at this spot for an entire month I needed additional supplies (ie mop) which Edward promptly ordered to the house. I look forward to returning to this spot next time work brings me to Philly!

this place was very peaceful, lots to do, awesome area, we loved the town of North East!
