Family-friendly holiday rentals in New London

There is nothing more frustrating than not being able to have a decent shower while you are on vacation. That was absolutely not the case here. The hot water and water pressure in both bathrooms was exceptional. This is a great place in a great area. We will definitely try to get back here.

Keri went above and beyond to ensure I had a comfortable stay & she gave excellent recommendations for local eats. The room was cozy, inviting, warm & clean. Keri is thoughtful & offered coffee & snacks. Communication was easy & all of her instructions were simple & easy to navigate. Would stay here longer & explore the area if I had more time. Fabulous spot anyone visiting!

This house is exactly as described and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We could tell that Tracy and Patrick have clearly been doing this for a long time because they thought of everything. There were detailed instructions for everything, the kitchen had everything needed for our brunch and late night snacks. Downstairs is perfect to gather together- but everyone had enough space upstairs for privacy. We had 8 adults (4 couples) and to be honest, the only concern was the 10pm noise ordinance. We are 8 professional adults but we love to have fun- and we are all late night people. On our first night we sat outside, used the hot-tub and had cocktails till 12am and there wasn’t a problem at all. I feel that as long as you are respectful and don’t make excessive noise a you should be fine. The worst part of the trip was leaving because we all loved it so much. We all would come back and I would definitely recommend this home to everyone.

We can't say enough positive things about TJ and his beautiful home on the beach in Milford… There isn't anything he hasn't thought of and the pictures don't even do it justice. My family and I were blown away at how comfortable and beautiful the experience was; we didn't wanna leave. As a host myself of several properties, TJ really sets the standard; his home's layout is amazing and the view of the water is unobstructed from the hot tub, from every room in the house and even the rooftop deck. We can't wait to go back! Be sure to wake up for the sunrise!🌅

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer’s place. It was.l beautiful, immaculate, and incredibly well equipped—especially for kids with the plethora of games and toys. Jennifer was responsive and a great host. The house is on a serene, dead-end street, and outdoor area is perfect for kids.

Anna and Stan's place was great, even better than described. Extremely responsive to our questions during the stay and no surprises.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this incredible home! Surrounded by peaceful woods with snow on the ground, many birds, and the occasional deer wandering by, I felt completely connected to nature. It was the perfect winter getaway I needed from the city. The house was impeccably clean with all the essentials - a well stocked kitchen, an impressive vinyl collection and sound system, and a variety of interesting books and magazines throughout. There’s also a generous-sized TV with all my favorite streaming services, making it easy to unwind and enjoy my downtime. This home brought back fond memories of a lake cabin I spent many summers at but with a much more chic, spacious, and cozy vibe. With it's warm wood finishes and large windows that filled the rooms with sunlight, it perfectly blends nostalgia with modern comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone seeking a serene escape!

Was the perfect little get away for us. And it was nice to find a place that accommodated the dogs so well. We appreciated being able to get to places easily but at the same time have a peaceful place to return to.

We loved our Thanksgiving stay at this home! Perfectly located and easy to get to from I-95 & I-295, future renters will easily see how great this place is…unless we rent it first! :)

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

Cabin on Little River met our expectations and more. Myself, 2 sisters and my daughter wanted a quiet getaway. A charming open concept post and beam, pine floors and wood trim, woodstove for winter, deck with charcoal grill. It's very rural and IN the woods ( so bring bug repellant). Even though the host's home is visible you still feel tucked away. Kitchen and bath are modern and clean and the beds and livingroom were very comfortable. The soothing sound of the river is always present. It was relaxing to sit down in the adirondack chairs near its bank. The woods provide a place to walk. Lake is across the road. Glenn informed us of several events nearby that we were really interested in...but we never felt like leaving the cabin! There's a big firepit nearby and wood provided. Glenn is a wonderful host. A fellow artist, I asked to see his studio on the ground level. Even bought a couple small paintings. Do not hesitate to book this place if you are looking for a quiet respite!

Daniel's place was perfect for a weekend solo writing retreat. It had everything I needed to be able to focus and work productively: it was comfortable, quiet, and private. The kitchen had what I needed for the meals I'd brought with me, and Mystic Market was nearby when I wanted a sandwich or a wrap. I didn't use the sleeping loft; the sofa bed was quite comfortable! When I needed to take a break, it was wonderful to be able to walk to nearby spots to gaze out at the water.

Great place to stay in a very walker friendly town. Monica gave great suggestions in places to go and walking routes to take our pup. We had a great time!

Sara and Steffens property is lovely and so cozy and perfect. Perfect weekend getaway and they were amazing hosts! Thanks again!

What an incredible host and location. You know it is an amazing vacation when your 17 year old says he wants to go back and he loved the time with family. We brought our two dogs and it was a perfectly, peaceful get away. Loved the house, especially the yard and game room. Will stay again, definitely.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

It was so nice to return to this place during a visit with my family in Connecticut. As always, it was comfortable and clean. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen each night.

This was our first time at the Barn. There were 8 of us. We had plenty of room. Plenty of parking. MaryBeth and Doug are extremely friendly. We enjoyed hearing about the history of the Barn. Will definitely book there again next year.

Just had a wonderful stay at Robert’s place! The place was impeccably clean, and Robert was incredibly responsive and friendly throughout our visit. While the manor has a charmingly vintage vibe and could use a bit of modernization, we truly enjoyed our time there. The warmth of the atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. We recommend for anyone looking for a cozy getaway!

This was absolutely perfect for our wedding weekend in Montauk. We were so close to everything which made it very convenient. The room was perfect and loved the clothing rack perk! Everything was clean and loved the skylights in the unit and the patio overlooking the water. 10/10 woud definitely stay here again!
