Doug's place was absolutely stunning and cozy. It was exactly as depicted in the photos. This wasn't exactly an issue but perhaps worth noting that parking can be a little tight due to the cluster of homes. However, we didn't have any problems with navigating the streets. All in all, it was very peaceful and the design of the home was very inspired. Doug was also a fantastic host and very communicative, providing recommendations and very clear instructions. I've bookmarked his place for a future visit.

Frank went above and beyond to communicate check-in instructions, rules of the Air BnB, had all the thoughtful amenities for a slumbo! Definitely an ideal location for nicer weather with the location! Unfortunately the weather hindered the ability to fully enjoy this experience with the water so close! Would book again with better weather!!!

What a find! I came to Kristen's because some plans fell through last minute. Having never heard of Marblehead but keen to visit somewhere by the sea and easily accessible from Boston, wow did I get a pleasant surprise. It is absolutely beautiful there, I had to pinch myself - it was like living in a film! The apartment was absolutely perfect. I'd been staying somewhere a bit grubby and disorganised beforehand and Kristen's place was absolutely sparkling clean, I felt incredibly welcome and cared for right away. Furthermore, checking in early with my monstrous suitcase was no problem at all and the apartment is generously stocked with coffee, tea, snacks, a bottle of wine, cold drinks, a folder of local recommendations, comfortable, quality furnishings and linens, great lighting and more. This is what true hosting is all about if you ask me - making your guests feel as comfortable and welcome as possible and Kristen most certainly does this in spades.

the pictures dont do justice. this cozy quiet get away has a beautiful view to enjoy waking uo to or sitting at the window bench to read a book. to the cozy patio that has a small yard that leads to the beach which let me tell you was a beautiful view. we come up to Salem regularly and I think we found our new regular spot

Traveled to Swampscott, from DC, with my kids, for a visit with family. Decided to try the AirBnB route, as opposed to one of the hotels we normally would stay at in Salem. So much more space, for only a little more money. Much better location near the ocean, kept very clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would return next time we visit!

Stayed here with a few of my friends for a wedding and the place was perfect! Really close to the Barker House wedding venue, walkable to downtown Scituate. Beds were very comfy and the place was very clean. Overall, a great stay!

Our stay at this lovely Scituate Coastal Retreat was fabulous. The house was immaculately clean and the decor was perfection. The common areas were cozy, but spacious and the kitchen was well stocked with any tools/utensils we needed. Beds were comfortable and our party of 4 adults had plenty of room. The hosts left great suggestions for local dining and the house was only a 2 min drive (15min walk) to downtown Front St restaurants and shopping. Host Andrew was very responsive and wonderfully accommodating, allowing for a later check-out when requested. We were staying in the Winter, so perhsps check out time may not be as flexible in the warmer months. Check-in & check-out was a breeze! We hope to rent this property again. Great older lake house vibe. We liked it very much. It worked great for our family of five.
