What made this Airbnb special is all the little thoughtful extras like providing tea, coffee and milk, dog treats, insects repellent etc. Made us feel very welcome. You can tell the host cares about her guest's stay. The lodge is spotlessly clean, the kitchen is well equipped even has an airfryer and coffee pod machine! We loved the Highland Coo theme and think it should continue into the bedrooms. Unfortunately the weather wasn't kind to us for our stay but we still managed to have a good time despite all the rain. We got to go on the loch for watersports on our last day. Which the boys loved! We also enjoyed the little golf course in-between the rain forecasts. And took advantage of the pool on site. We also loved the hot tub. The veranda unfortunately we only got to use for a couple hours before the heavens opened again. But better weather this would the perfect place to sit and chill overlooking those stunning views. All in all we would definitely recommend Top lodge.

We had a lovely stay in Darren’s lodge! It is in a super peaceful and private location, but not too far from local amenities by car. Darren came to see us after we’d checked in to make sure everything was alright, which was a nice touch. The welcome pack with a small bottle of Prosecco, milk, etc was much appreciated! The lodge itself was perfect and very spacious, with the hot tub and log burner being the highlights. Plenty of wood and fire starting materials were provided for our stay too. After a rather cloudy day we were amazed to see the sky clear up at night from the hot tub to a beautiful display of stars. We also went to Culzean Castle one day for a wander around which we would recommend, only about a 30 minute drive away. All in all, we would highly recommend Darren’s lodge to anybody!

Great place and beautiful walks around. Log cabin was spotless and really nice to relax in the hot tub after a long walk. staff very friendly and responsive the only downside beeing the bed.... not comfortable and the pillows are really hard. we've asked for a matress topper and the staff was prompt providing it but unfortunately didn't made much difference. 10 out of 10 for the staff and the way the manage the holiday park! 100% recommend visiting Galloway Smokehouse and red deer range

The cottage was lovely, totally immaculate and just what we needed. We came as 2 couples and had a great time in the hottub and playing games in the cottage. The only thing I would say is when I clicked the link to go there on Apple Maps it took me to a location 25 minutes away from the cottage. But we got there in the end! Thank you for a lovely stay :) x

A peaceful getaway, which was what we wanted. Cabin was spotless and had what we needed and the view was stunning. Hosts were friendly and approachable. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing time at the Herons’s Nest this week- my partner and I cannot wait to come back! The pod itself was immaculate, so comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We had fabulous weather so made full use of the hot tub, bbq and fire pit with smores! Our dogs had the best time running around the garden safely as it was fully enclosed as well. Callum and Suzi were friendly, warm and so informative. It was such a wonderful experience and we are already looking to book our next stay!

From the initial booking to leaving Gillian was great! On arrival Gillian was waiting for us to check in and show us around the lodge and how everything worked. The lodge was spotless and felt like a home from home. Gillian had left a welcome pack full of goodies & Prosecco in the fridge! The beds were so comfortable, pillows were amazing and all the linen was of a high quality. If you enjoy walking/biking this is the perfect location as the woods to the rear of the property are beautiful. We will 100% be back at Glenisle Lodge, so much so we have already inquired about a 2nd stay!

we have just returned from a 3 night stay at Judith's place and had an amazing time. There was two adults and two children and more than enough room for us all. The caravan was spotless and there is any amount of cutlery, crockery, pots and pans etc. Beds were comfortable and the caravan is very modern and has a lovely view of the loch. The hot tub was a nice extra touch and we all enjoyed some time in that. If you're thinking of booking then I highly recommend Judith's place. she is also very responsive and helpful with messages. would definitely stay again.

Great gem of a place, fantastic location off the beaten track. Well presented and clean. No WiFi as standard but mobile signal is decent, just need a big enough data package for your stay, or take the opportunity to get offline and enjoy the surroundings! Plenty to do on site but booking in advance is recommended.

Unforgettable stay! My husband and I were looking for a peaceful break, and this lodge delivered, in every way. The space was stylish yet cosy, the bed was unbelievably comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. The area is breathtaking, with quiet beaches and beautiful walking trails right on the doorstep. Sitting on the balcony in the morning with a coffee, listening to nature, and a book, was perfect. Can’t wait to return!

The lodge was lovely, the views and scenery surrounding the lodge was beautiful and calming! It was a perfect spot for us, the kids and the dogs. The beach just a short walk away was a big hit with everyone. Christine was helpful and responded to messages quickly. We would love to return for another break!

Stayed in Kippford loads of times but never in a lodge before. It was a huge space to stay in with everything you needed. Lovely and warm, nice and cosy with a huge tv. Would definitely return again and recommend it.

From the moment we walked in, it was easy to see that Sharron has made a space that is welcoming and easy to use. We were so impressed at not only how clean and neat it was, but also with how thoughtful she was with little things that make guests feel more at home (like a charging port with cords for multiple phones.) We would definitely stay there again!!

The caravan was absolutely immaculate and looked even better than in the photos. Our hosts were so proactive and helpful and made the whole thing so easy. The location is unbeatable for all the activities surrounding it. Just a wonderful break, I look forward to being back.

We had a lovely time here from start to finish. Very easy to find and clear instructions/map throughout stay. Great self check-in service and when we got in, it was spotless and modern with everything we may need there. Great outdoor space on the terrace as well as the use of the hot tub which made for a relaxing stay. A quiet area and comfortable bed as well as a fab shower. We also enjoyed a nice walk to the local town where we picked up a lovely breakfast. 10/10, would definitely recommend. 😀

Had the most amazing stay here! The pod has everything you need for making small snacks/drinks. The surroundings were beautiful and it was so peaceful with the added bonus of the hot tub! So much nature around too which makes it feel that little bit more special. Would return again, thanks :)

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, cosy and clean. Very communicative hosts and really straight forward process checking both in and out. Loads of utensils and amenities available to use which is not always guaranteed in a self catering stay! Thank you so much, it was lovely ⭐️

We had a lovely stay at David and Joanne's. The Pod was clean and cosy, the bed really comfortable and the lay out overlooking the countryside was idyllic. The hot tub was fab. We met David when we arrived and he was very friendly and hospitable. We will definitely be back. Derek and Claire

Fantastic cottage / log cabin. Incredible vistas across Wigtonshire and Irish Sea beyond. Ideal location for Kircudbright and Wigton as well as 7 stanes cycling locations- for us. Lovely and cosy inside.

We had an absolute peaceful stay at this stunning wigwam. The location is perfect & the wigwam is kitted out with everything you will need. The hot tub was amazing & the hosts couldn’t be anymore helpful! We cannot wait to come back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
