Holiday rentals in Newtown

How many times do you say “We could definitely live here” about your Airbnb? This was the place for us. They truly thought of everything. We stayed for two weeks and were very comfortable. There’s plenty of room and fantastic storage to get suitcases and things we didn’t need stored out of sight. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and everything was in very good condition. The plus room behind the house was great, because we sometimes had meetings early in the morning. We could hold the meetings out there and not disturb our partner’s sleep. Also, just to clarify, we needed a fan the first two days because of truly unseasonable weather and a problem,l one of us has with heat regulation. The host took action quickly to make sure everything was comfy.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment: easy check-in, good communication and everything was very clean and as shown in the pictures. Street parking was no problem (we always had a spot right in front of the apartment) and the train station to Wellington downtown was 5 walking minutes away. We would recommend staying there.

Nice place atop a hill in a suburb of Wellington - absolutely gorgeous views while walking the neighborhood when the sun's out! It's about a 20-minute walk to shops & restaurants but the neighborhood is decently connected to the rest of the city via bus.

Beautiful location, clean and gorgeous home and such great recommendations of local attractions. super kids friendly too! They loved the toys and games as well as beach access right across the road! Highly recommended to all! we would be back in a heartbeat 😊

We loved staying at Carolyn’s accommodation- very clean, great location , very well equipped and excellent communication . Just one disappointment - we didnt book for longer 😊😊- sitting in the window seat with a chilled glass of vintage Cloudy Bay with some delicious local cheeses was heaven !!

Kristen was an amazing/flexible host. We first got into the house and the rooms were so hot! Kristen immediately made sure we had fans for the rooms and that we were comfortable. The house and views are beautiful. Lots of stairs but we didn’t mind! Beds were super comfy.

My husband and I stayed at Steph's beautiful home with our daughter and grandchildren and enjoyed a lovely, homely stay. The weather was kind and the home is situated in a very quiet enclave that is very sheltered. Upstairs there is a lovely view of Lowry Bay from the main bedroom balcony. So close to local amenities with beautiful Days Bay a short drive away for a nice swim and eats in the quaint cafe overlooking the bay. Charming 20 min ferry ride to central Wellington for a shop and look around. Highly recommend this spot with the seclusion of a secret garden and the convenience of a great location.

Our stay was wonderful - comfy beds, lovely bathroom / shower + clean, tidy cottage with a wonderfully archetypal kiwi water front summer feel. Anna has been very gracious and extremely helpful. We would love to stay again at her cottage, under the pōhutukawas by the bay. Thanks Anna 🦋
