Holiday rentals in Nirvana

Our group of 9 adults and 4 children, ages 4 and under, had a wonderful time at this spacious home. There were so many spaces to be, inside and out. We used the pontoon, played badminton in one part of the lawn and brought a cornhole game for another part. The kids loved the playground and small rock area underneath... actually less messy than sand. Carolyn told us about another huge playground about a 10-minute drive away that me & my husband went to look at and it was awesome! For all ages of kids and a huge beautiful beach and a walking/scooter? path and bathrooms right there too. And a ping-pong table! So much to do! Had a fire at night, looking out at lake. Beautiful sunset. We brought a fishing boat and they were able to catch bass, northern, and nice sunnies. Nice big lake with beautiful houses to look at on a ride around it on the pontoon. Couldn't have asked for any more! Highly recommend!

Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was excellent—communication was speedy, and the entire experience was hassle-free. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The home had incredible views of the lake and plenty of room for our family of six. The lower level was perfect for the kids, and they loved the huge selection of board games in the basement! Since we visited during the colder months, we didn’t get to experience how truly amazing this place must be in the spring, summer, and fall—but that just gives us a reason to come back. The location was convenient with easy access to and from the interstate. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some, making meals effortless. Overall, a short but excellent experience. Highly recommend!

Our stay here was just perfect! The place is so extremely clean (both the main house and guest house), has eveything you need, the yard is big and so well maintained, the views are stunning, the lake just steps away is quiet and peaceful (we caught so many fish!), the guest house was so fun for our four young boys, the host was so kind and responsive...just everything about our stay here was perfect! It truly felt like a home away from home! So clean and cozy. So many wonderful memories made there for our family. We will definitely be back! Thanks for everything!

Taylor’s place was perfect for us. Very clean comfortable beds. Comfy, spacious gathering spaces, both inside and out! Well-stocked kitchen and very easy to get to from down town Alexandria. Taylor was also very friendly and easy to work with! Well worth the price!!

Lisa’s place is comfortable and just as described. There’s minimal kitchen facilities as noted in description, so don’t plan on preparing large meals. But you can make the basics with the stove and small fridge.

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

We had a wonderful stay with our three small children (two year old twins and five year old). Vacations are not always easy with littles, but this cabin was perfect! It was clean, fully stocked, and easy to maneuver with pack and plays and “kid stuff.” We loved the beach, sandy swimming area, and having the dock space for our boat. We ate many meals in the screened in porch and enjoyed how close we were to Battle Lake and other fun amenities! This was a great vacation for us. Anne and Dave were communicative, helpful, and everything was straightforward. We would highly recommend this place for your families next vacation!
