Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Africa

It was amazing! Eleni and her family are amazing, they work hard on the house and it's possible to feel that. Ah brought us some tasty food for us and the kids which was amazing. She even put some traditional candy and I asked her the name so we can go and buy it and the next day she brought us a box. She gave us so many great recommendations too. The house is even nicer than the pictures! The location of the house is the best, there is a great taverna one minute walking and yo can find Anna's mosaic workshop where we went twice with our 6yo girls to do some mosaic workshop. Both must! We are definetly coming back in may to elenis house. Thank you so much!

We'll be back! The house is a Granadian dream. We were a group with 3 children and had more accessories for them than in our own homes :) The unbeatable location, the beautiful surroundings, the incredible garden, the truth is that everything is great. Thanks Carmen!

We had a great stay with our baby. Yiannis is a great host and welcomed us directly at the harbour despite the ferry being late. He also gave us great recommendations for the region. If we were travelling to Ios again, we would book here again. Thank you for everything.

The location of the house with a view of the bay of Sitia is beautiful. The accommodation is very clean and well equipped. We were greeted with a culinary surprise. The house is only 10 minutes from Sitia. There is a beautiful beach here and there are several restaurants serving local dishes. But what was outstanding was the beautiful view from the terrace down into the valley and surrounding area. We had relaxing days in the Old Cheese Hut.

Amazing place, peaceful secluded great for a quiet getaway. Very cosy living room with a fire place. Unique experience overall. Loads of taverns, hike trails and small villages to visit for a local mountain experience. Friendly and accommodating host. Highly recommended.

The place was beautiful, beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equiped. There were logs for the fireplace provided ( at a specific price- very reasonable).

A unique property. Secluded location with a stunning view down the valley to the sea in the distance. Full of charm and character, I doubt there is a better place for a summer visit in Andalucia. As a winter destination it is also magnificent and the hosts provide plenty of heaters to supplement the open fire and pot belly stove. We did have an issue with smoke from the latter but it was immediately dealt with. Indeed our local contact, Pati, was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. A list of local restaurant recommendations was also much appreciated. This is a spectacular region of Andalucia and I think this must be one of the finest properties to base yourself.

We were super happy about the accommodation which was tailored to our wishes. Everything very clean, well maintained and available to start your vacation right away. Car is mandatory as it is close to the main road, but still secluded and detached. The cars passing by are audible, but very discreet and there is little traffic. The entrance to the house takes some getting used to and is not quite easy to find at night (best guided by the traffic signs). Restaurants are easily accessible within 10 minutes by car and the selection in Playa Blanca is large. The communication with Edda & Roland was good. We can only recommend this place, we really liked it. And Lanzarote is definitely a recommended island. The streets are in top condition, everything is very neat and clean.

The place was clean, cozy, and well equipped. Omar was very friendly and gave us some great tips for visiting the region.

It was exactly what we signed up for. The chalet has a very good divison of bathrooms and bedrooms for a family of 6. The terrace is a plus for the kids to play in the snow during winter. All needed amenities were included and the janitor was very responsive to our needs. I would go back again.

I had a wonderful stay .The space was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped.

We had the pleasure of staying with friends at Zehra's and her mother's place this week. Zehra had already made herself very available before our arrival by giving us multiple information about things to do in her beautiful area, sometimes even taking care of reservations.  Despite a late arrival, a great meal was waiting for us at the house with a very neat table setting. Contact the next day was commensurate with the first exchanges.  We had the breakfasts prepared by him every morning and even a dinner. All the dishes were great qualities.  The house has a great view of Side and the coast.  The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable.  Both indoor and outdoor spaces are clean, convenient, and stunning. The pool is incredibly large. In short, enough to delight most people. Thanks again Zehra for this great stay , your hospitality and kindness. We already miss your dishes.

The level of attention and detail provided by the team was unparalleled. I felt as though we had a private concierge on hand for anything we needed. Stunning space, the type of home you don’t want to leave. Bravo!

Located in a charming Lebanese town, this place is a must visit. It has many chalets but the one we booked (Harmony) was stunning. The place is in the middle of a cliff surrounded by rocks, trees, and foreseeing the mountains. Inside, it is fully equipped and has all the facilities that you might need. It can accommodate 4 people easily. The pool is the most charming part of the chalet surrounded by rocks and trees giving a true Lebanese vibe. Highly recommended.

Beautiful house and view Very quiet place, where you can play tennis, paddle board, golf Mikael is very friendly, and generous. We hope to come back another year!

The house has been fully redecorated to a high modern day standard. It's spacious and very private, also thanks to the walled inner garden with swimming pool, and possibilities to park two cars behind an electronically operated gate. The house is clean and the beds very comfortable. Also ideal when traveling with two couples of which one has children, because one bedroom has a separate front door that is accessible from the garden (under the roof top terrace). A very nice local restaurant and a supermarket are within walking distance. I highly recommend staying here!

Just returned from a fabulous week at Alison’s villa. Our first villa holiday, and certainly not our last. Everything was as pictured, plentiful supplies to kitchen, bedding and bathrooms. The pool and facilities were immaculate and we had some amazing BBQ’s long into the evening… Cannot fault any part of the villa. And to top it off a superb host to boot. 100% recommended.

Taner was always very quick to answer any questions or concerns I had, right from before booking to after our stay. He was there to meet us on arrival and showed us around his wonderful villa. For us as a family of 3 adults it was the perfect location. We are regular visitors to Turkey so specifically wanted this area. We would definitely stay here again.
