The family pod has a small double bed and two single beds. There is a kettle in the room as well as tea bags, coffee, sugar sachets, milk portions. The family pod has private use of the pod next door, which has a toilet, shower and wash hand basin. All toiletries, linen and towels provided. It is most suitable for a couple with 2 children, or 3 adults. It would be a tight squeeze for 4 adults. Our cosy garden glamping pod is situated on the westside of Lewis in a village area called High Borve. This area is very quiet, ideal for people looking to chill out and relax. The pod is located in our garden area at the front of our family home. Parking for the pod is at the rear of the pod. It's a lovely little pod to relax in after a day of sightseeing around the island. If you are looking for somewhere basic to rest your head for a couple of nights, then this is ideal for you.

Taigh Iomhair was originally a stone built thatched 'blackhouse'. It first appears on local historical records in 1814, but it is likely it was built in the latter half of the 18th century. The main structure of the house has not changed in over 200 years, but the property was internally refurbished in 2019, including new bathroom, kitchen, flooring and furnishings. The thatched roof was replaced many years ago, but the house still retains a character from a bygone crofting era.

It is a traditional two bedroomed detached holiday cottage with the world famous Callanish stones right on its doorstep.
