Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in North Hero

We had a great 3 night stay for a family ski trip to Stowe. The place was much nicer than the pictures give it credit for! Felt pretty updated and we loved the art/decor. The 2 br and 2 full baths are on the 2nd floor. Our kids stayed in the br with 2 smaller twins (beds perfect for smaller kids & fit our middle schooler, but beds likely not big enough for taller adults/teens!). AirBNB was stocked with games, and we didn't have time for the pool/hot tub, but was a quick drive through the parking lot. We bought food at the organic grocery a few minutes away for snacks/breakfasts, but had lunch/dinner out. Piecasso and Idyletime were both great meals and only a few minute drive away. We ended up driving to the mountain and (paid) parking wasn't an issue in the mornings, but over the holidays, parking filled up at the main lots by afternoon. The shuttle bus is a close walk, but parking at the resort was surprisingly easy. Thank you!! Would definitely recommend!!

Everything about our stay was great! The beds, rooms, kitchenware, location, etc.—all of the needs were met for our group of 15. We were here for a ski trip to Stowe. Dillon and Sam were responsive and helpful in answering the questions we had about the place leading up to the stay.

Sherry's cottage was the perfect place for our family to view the eclipse from! The place was well-equipped with everything we needed and spotless. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely house and beautiful lot! Spent lots of time playing in the yard, swimming in the pool and exploring all the things that Stowe has to offer. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Kathleen’s house very much. There were 6 of us; my family and my brother’s. The house was very cozy with an open kitchen and living room space with high ceilings. The beds and furniture were all very comfortable. The kitchen had all the amenities we needed and many things we didn’t expect like breakfast foods, coffee, etc. The two bathrooms were both spotless and had lots of nice soft towels. The outdoor furniture was very nice and new and the property is private and nicely maintained. A few of us also enjoyed using the kayaks on the lake directly across the street. We were attending a family reunion at a house on the same street so the location was extremely convenient. We liked this house so much we would like to book again for our future reunions.

Lovely stay! We would come back. Easily accommodated 6 of us with loads of room to spread out. Comfy beds, clean, stylish, gorgeous neighborhood. Lovely lovely!!!

My wife and I stayed in Angela’s studio apartment in February. This place is a hidden gem!!! The space was amazing and deceptively spacious. We were welcomed with a snack basket into a cozy kitchen with all the amenities. The bathroom was modern, spacious and beautiful!!! The view of the lake outside our door was a classic winter scene. Angela was is constant communication throughout our stay answering all of our questions. Angela is an amazing host!! We can’t wait to go back to her place and enjoy more Lake Placid adventures.

We had an absolutely phenomenal stay at Sue’s place. We met her husband as well, and he was so kind and helpful. It was accurately described, very clean, and she was very responsive. We were impressed with how much light the apartment let in the middle of winter. The backyard views were incredible. It was an absolutely perfect stay for what we needed. We visited the college and were only five minutes from the campus. The town is very cute with everything we needed right there at our fingertips. We would 10 out of 10 highly recommend and come back at any time of year. This is a property that would be beautiful during every season.

Beautiful place to stay! Hosts were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Amazing value for the price! Just outside of the city but close enough to explore and discover many hidden gems. Would definitely recommend!

I have so many wonderful things to say about Taraleigh and Dan— they were both such wonderful hosts. It snowed over a foot the night before morning check out and Dan woke up early to shovel / dig my car out so we could leave (I’m disabled and it would have taken me forever // wrecked my body to do so myself). The place was clean, cozy, and warm. Kitchen was great and served the needs we had!! We loved cooking— and there was enough plates/cutlery, etc No dishwasher, but we wash our dishes at home anyways so we didn’t mind. Bathroom is LARGE and the shower has GREAT water pressure. Comfy couch too— we watched TV all day when it was snowing haha Overall, a very cozy basement unit. We could hear people walking around upstairs in the main house unit but we didn’t mind (mentioning this only for ppl who are light sleepers). 10/10 would stay here again!!

Deborah was great, very accommodating and friendly. Check in was a breeze and she was very helpful with everything!

Great “home away from home” for a visit. I’m no longer used to freezing weather and appreciate that it was warm when I arrived and not drafty, and the bed and couch had pleasant blankets.

This was our second stay at Ellie’s Garden. Just as enjoyable the second time around.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect. The view from the condo of the lake is beautiful. We loved being able to use the amenities at the High Peaks Resort. We walked each night into town for dinner. The living space is very comfortable and the bedrooms were also comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great condo in the heart of Stowe. Walkable to town and close to the mountain. The perfect spot!

Place worked out great for 2 guys for 2 nights. We didn't even pull out the couch, it was comfy enough to sleep right on. First floor access was perfect, and condo was easy to get into. Super close to parking lot for transporting gear in and out. We used it as a jumping off point to ski Jay Peak, which worked perfect. I wouldn't call it true ski on/off, as we did have to walk across the parking lot and catch a shuttle to get to the mountain mountain trails, but access was still VERY convenient. Everything worked perfect and would surely recommend and would stay here again!

Extremely nice cabin, very recently renovated. The owner has a keen eye for organization, everything is neatly placed where it should be. Linens are clean, beds were super comfortable. Amazing stay, thank you Cathy

Fantastic condo to rent. Kitchen is well appointed (we LOVED having well-stocked coffee!) and all sleeping arrangements worked great. Cannot beat proximity to Stowe/Mt. Mansfield and to restaurants/bars.

Very comfortable stay - convenient to ski wither Sugarbush or Mad River. Philip sent specific instructions for turning the heat up on arrival. It took a little while to warm up, but individual thermostats in LR and BR worked nicely. Local recommendations for restaurants and such were spot on.

This was the perfect place for a ski getaway at Smuggs for our family of four. The condo has easy access to the Village lift (and shops/restaurants) on Morse mountain and enabled us to take midday breaks from skiing to warm up and have lunch. Cara was super responsive and helpful leading up to and during our stay. Excellent overall value. 10/10.

Great spot, super clean. We will definitely be back. We have been going to smugs for ages. Would definitely recommend.
