Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North Shore

We stayed here for a month during a transition. It was over the holidays and Danielle was so kind to decorate everything for Christmas! We loved staying at her place!

Chris was an excellent host! His communication was outstanding! Due to weather we were coming in a day early and he was able to allow us to come for an additional day instead of finding a hotel room for the extra day. He was also wonderful about informing us of an approaching storm the day we were leaving. The place was very quaint with a great back yard. Although we were not able to take advantage of the firepit we had hoped to do so and enjoy the private setting but time and weather did not permit. We did all of our cooking at the house and there was a great supply of cookware to accommodate us. We were in town for a college visit and the College and Universities were very close! I would highly recommend staying at property!

Conny's home was well stocked with all of the essentials. It was the best of all of the rental homes that we have rented. His home worked very well for the 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children. Two of the children play ice hockey and it was just minutes away from both ice rinks. The location worked well for us, (grocery stores, restaurants, mall, theater, etc.), was so close by. Conny's home is at the top of our list. Conny responded quickly when we had any questions. We would defintely enjoy staying here again.

Jennifer’s place is such a gem. If you like being on the lake and having all the toys and amenities already taken care of for you then this is your place. I have my own kayaks but it was nice to not to have to worry about bringing them. Kayaks for adults and kids, paddle boat, paddle board, beautiful deck, multiple ladders to get out after swimming. They have board games and a karaoke machine that was so fun. The porch was so nice and relaxing. Better than the pictures. You should stay here.

We enjoyed our stay at Maddie’s place. We were in town to celebrate my grandson’s birthday. It is conveniently located. Would definitely stay again.

An amazing place with a wonderful host have been a repeat guest and would gladly go again

Checkin was easy, and when I had an issue with the key code, Lauren noticed immediately, reached out, and sent me an alternative code. The house is very comfortable, with kitchen implements, towels and linens, throw blankets, a fan for nighttime ambiance, area lamps for restful evening lighting, and great sunrise views. I was traveling for business, and the dining table and WiFi let me join remote meetings and catch up on emails. I’m pleased with the stay.

A beautiful home in a quiet location. Spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Cindy was very quick with responses and we would recommend her home to anyone. A gem of place.

Michelles cabin was great! Very quaint and cozy, perfect for my husband and I. There wasn’t any Wi-Fi/internet, but we were able to use our hotspots which was great for a rainy day. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

Allison was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is well kept well decorated and comfortable for our stay. Mariners point and her rental allows access to lots of social and sport activities making the stay that much more enjoyable. Access to 12 pickleball courts large workout facilities and indoor/outdoor pools.

Great location on the lake with a beautiful view. Had more than we could ask for in amenities! Definitely fell in love with the Hot tub.

The place is as pictured, comfy and clean. The host was very responsive and accommodating. I would recommend and stay again.

Last weekend, I was able to visit Cruising Altitude. It was my first experience ever with renting an Air BnB! Abigail was truly a wonderful host! She was always available to answer any questions that I had leading up to my arrival and while I was at the cabin. I absolutely cannot wait to come back to Cruising Altitude again! It was truly a little glimpse of paradise! Lastly, the story behind the name of the cabin is truly special! I would recommend Cruising Altitude to anyone! P.S. Cruising Altitude is also Dog Friendly which is a HUGE plus!!!

This is that perfectly staged house you see in a magazine that you say to yourself, “no one could live there. It’s too perfectly decorated and staged.” We were completely comfortable staying at this location. We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen and other wonderful amenities throughout. Comfortable sleeps on amazing mattresses that you just sink into. Convenient to downtown and our daughter’s apartment. We even told friends who came for dinner to look at renting another location for their daughter’s graduation in May and they did immediately! We will be planning on staying with All Belong again!!!

Lovely Little Cabin! Gretchen was responsive and friendly. Comfy living space and secluded location complete with a babbling brook. Would definitely recommend.
