Pet-friendly holiday rentals in North Shore

This home was perfect for our family of 6 plus our dog. The large kitchen was perfect for making meals at home and the couches are super cozy. The backyard is larger than our seems in the photos. We really enjoyed sitting outside in the morning, eating our breakfast and listening to the birds. She has thought of everything. The kitchen is well stocked and there are lots of fun extras throughout the house. We appreciated the special attention given to our doggie including a gift just for her.

Great dog friendly cottage around corner from University of Lynchburg. Perfect for us! Thank you. Appreciate K-Cup and enough essentials like toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels and washing machine pods.

Conny's home was well stocked with all of the essentials. It was the best of all of the rental homes that we have rented. His home worked very well for the 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children. Two of the children play ice hockey and it was just minutes away from both ice rinks. The location worked well for us, (grocery stores, restaurants, mall, theater, etc.), was so close by. Conny's home is at the top of our list. Conny responded quickly when we had any questions. We would defintely enjoy staying here again.

Jennifer’s place is such a gem. If you like being on the lake and having all the toys and amenities already taken care of for you then this is your place. I have my own kayaks but it was nice to not to have to worry about bringing them. Kayaks for adults and kids, paddle boat, paddle board, beautiful deck, multiple ladders to get out after swimming. They have board games and a karaoke machine that was so fun. The porch was so nice and relaxing. Better than the pictures. You should stay here.

We were in town to visit our daughter at Liberty U. This is a lovely rental that is very homey and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. The apartment is clean and beautifully decorated. It was so peaceful to sit on the back deck and watch the deer!

Michelles cabin was great! Very quaint and cozy, perfect for my husband and I. There wasn’t any Wi-Fi/internet, but we were able to use our hotspots which was great for a rainy day. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect for dog lovers and lake lovers! I’ve rented various condos at Smith Mountain Lake and several different ones at Stripers Landing, but Shannon’s place is now my new favorite. With a great view, plenty of space and the option to bring the pup - it’s such a treat. Highly recommend.

Angelica is an excellent host, very clear with communications and quick to respond to questions. The space was perfect, well equipped, clean and comfortable. There’s a lot of love scattered throughout the space with snacks, drinks, pet treats and other little essentials. We will stay here again….

I loved staying at Mariners Landing in this lovely condo. It was perfect for a peaceful couple of nights away in the "off season" though any season at Smith Mountain Lake is beautiful! I enjoyed the amenities including the indoor pool, game room, and beach area, and had a fabulous meal from Bruno's Clubhouse. The condo was beautifully decorated and I spent a lot of time on the lakefront balcony. Definitely recommend a stay here!

Had a wonderful time with the family, Tammy was a great host! Very responsive and communicative. Definitely a better fit for older kids (the hills 🤣), but Tammy had ALL the essentials for babies to be accommodated and right at home! And the littles loved fishing too. It was an excellent spring break for us!

This home was absolutely gorgeous!!! We had deer in the yard as we arrived. It was peaceful and quiet. The inside of this home was beautiful. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed sitting on the back porch just relaxing. We stayed here for our daughter’s wedding at Glass Hill Venue and the location was perfect!! We highly recommend this home and look forward to staying here again!

This place was perfect for our family of five. I agree with other reviewers that it was very clean which is always appreciated. The king size bed was very comfortable with nice soft sheets. Also loved the Nespresso machine! We didn’t use the garage as there is plenty of street parking available. All of the restaurants we went to were 2-5 minutes away so super close and convenient location. Highly recommend !!

Ive stayed at this wonderful home many times so I knew it was a treasure. However, the newest owner Gretchen really made this place even better. Clean, cozy, it has everything you need for a perfect moutain getaway. All the little touches and welcoming treats were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. Can't wait to return!
