Apartment holiday rentals in Northampton

My nephew found Alan and Karen's Airbnb for me for his wedding and it was perfect! The location was just up the hill from the venue and not apartment itself was perfect for me! It had everything I could have needed and it felt like home!

The stay itself was wonderful! As advertised, it was well within walking distance from the downtown area, was cozy, and looked exactly like the pictures showed. 5/5 stars What pushed it over the edge from a good Airbnb to GREAT, was the attention Jennifer paid to small additional details - little chocolates to welcome us, snacks intentionally set out for us, water bottles, and a few other things speak to how good of a host she is. 6/5 stars 5/5 stars for Jennifer and her lovely apartment, 3/5 stars for Airbnb: we didn't get a message from Airbnb until we were checking out that her messaging wasn't working, so a couple messages went unanswered. Jennifer had put her number in 3 different locations explaining this, so she was super proactive, we were just a little unobservant in seeing that.

Very cute homey place in a beautiful setting, and a great value. Super convenient for visiting Amherst or UMass Amherst (just a couple blocks from UMass campus, and a very short drive to downtown Amherst). Great communication - Deborah messaged before we arrived to make sure we were good with directions and checked in while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. She set us up with coffee, eggs, toast, juice, and homemade blueberry jam (!) - really nice. The apartment looks out into woods, and we woke up to a family of deer just chilling right outside.

The location is terrific, easy from the airport and close to many other attractions. The facilities were well taken care of, very clean and stocked with all you could need.

Our stay was lovely. The place is just as described. I appreciated the heads up about the noise the furnace makes so I was able to bring some ear plugs for sleeping. Our hosts were very responsive when we had questions. The location is so convenient. It’s very easy to walk to town and Mass MoCA. I’d recommend folks check out the restaurant Casita and ice cream at Lickety Split.

It was a joy to return to the peaceful, well-equipped and welcoming Tibet House! Arriving with snow on the ground and a few daffodils and tree buds showing signs of spring - what a treat to witness the bursting forth of blossoms over the next 10+ days. Located on a quiet street of lovely homes, trees and gardens, the main shopping/eating attractions are all an easy, pleasant walk away. Gretchen has outfitted the kitchen with every need in mind. The bed is SO comfortable and the entire space is immaculately clean and beautifully, thoughtfully decorated. Gretchen is a superb host of this lovely and restful "home away from home."

Spacious stay, wonderfully clean and quiet and an excellent view from the balcony. Lots to see and do in the area. It got a bit cold in the bedroom at night - advise packing some warm pajamas if traveling in the colder seasons!

It was very peaceful, great get away from the city. Good for the dogs. The copper tub is amazing, we could not get enough of it. And the dual showers felt so good. It felt very homey. Mr. John was a a great host.

Josh's place is even better than pictured. It's a very tastefully appointed apartment with furniture and artwork that elevate the experience and add to the overall quality of the stay. Excellent location, very walkable and quiet at the same time. Josh is a very responsive host who takes his role as host very seriously and addresses needs and questions very quickly and clearly. I would stay here again and recommend to anyone for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

This apartment was very clean, not cluttered, in an absolutely lovely neighborhood, and was very comfortable. We walked into town, had great parking, and the neighborhood was quiet. The only thing I would note is that the stairs into the apartment are quite steep, which makes sense since it is an old house. Just something to think about if you have any mobility issues. I would happily stay here again!

This apartment was beautiful and comfortable. Devon was friendly, helpful, and always responsive. Northampton is a beautiful city to visit.

Had a great stay with Jane! Was an extremely cozy spot right next to downtown Northampton, making for a nice walk! I felt very safe and secure here. If you need a nice place to visit for the weekend or just want to explore Northampton, this is a great option! Would definitely stay again if needed :)

The gardens surrounding this apartment are stunning. We were delighted to meet Carol and to walk about the garden with her, as she answered questions about the plants we saw. She was a very gracious and helpful host. Overall, our stay was very comfortable and the location was excellent. Highly recommended!

Marge was an amazing host who went to effort to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. For example, in advance of our arrival she asked what type of bread and juice we preferred and if we wanted milk or cream for our coffee. She providd fresh eggs and even sent a dozen to our daughter who lives down the street. The apartment was welcoming, clean and cozy. The kitchen and pantry were well-supplied to meet our needs. We will definitely stay at Marge's next time we visit our daughter.

Wonderful place to stay in Amherst! Niels' suite was perfect for our group of 3. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, and the two en-suite bathrooms were well-equipped with toiletries, towels, and everything you'd need. The suite had gorgeous views of the surrounding area; although we encountered unusually cold temps and some rain, it would have been lovely to sit out on the deck and enjoy that view! But we were quite cozy inside :) Highly recommend if you are in the area - Niels' place is welcoming and very well designed for guests.

We can’t say enough good things about Sweet Dreams Retreat. It was the coziest, most relaxing stay and Melissa absolutely went above and beyond. We felt so at home. We loved the hot tub, fireplace, and all the beautiful amenities. The attention to detail is incredible - you can tell everything in the home was very well thought out to help guests enjoy their stay. It’s only 20 minutes from town where you can enjoy a bunch of cute shops and restaurants. Melissa provided amazing local recommendations that we absolutely loved as well. We hope to come back very soon! Would highly recommend Melissa’s home to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Berkshires! There’s absolutely nothing like it. :) Thank you Melissa and Geoff for your amazing hospitality!

nice clean comfortable space with a hot tub!

This is our 4th time staying with Sandra and it still is perfect! Very homey, fully equipped with all your needs plus some, easy parking, check and check out, comfy beds, this list goes on.. and Sandra is the best host ever!!!! Very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. Looking forward to our next stay! Thanks Sandra! 😃

We have stayed here twice this year. Helen was a responsive host. Her house offers cozy hang out spaces, very comfortable beds, and a unique layout. We enjoyed the super clean hot tub, the ease of entering and locking the home, and the fact that it is pet friendly. It felt like a private retreat for my family to meet up close to UMass. I would love to go back there again!

I can’t say enough good things about the Falcon’s Nest! My boyfriend and I had a much needed retreat which was so relaxing and tranquil and enchanting. The location is stunning and the build of the little apartment is just gorgeous! I never wanted to leave. Very convenient to good coffee and restaurants. We loved soaking in the hot tub and watching the trees. What a magical place. I hope we can come back someday.

This was a great space for a getaway with my husband. This is the cleanest Airbnb we have ever stayed in! This was very impressive and greatly appreciated! We live in the area, and it is a great location close to a ton of things to do (outside and inside) and a wide selection of restaurants in multiple directions. The location was quiet and felt private. Lindsey was super communicative and very responsive. Internet worked great (which was an issue in some other airbnbs we've stayed in). It was well stocked with appliances, and all the things we could need for our stay (we love a good king bed). We highly recommend!
