Holiday rentals with breakfast in Northern Norway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean, warm and cozy home! It was the perfect home base for our family of 6 to enjoy the beauty and fun of Finland. We relished our walks through the snowy woods behind the house, and the kids played in the snow every day. The house was well stocked with everything we needed, and the hosts generously provided local treats and foods for us to enjoy. The cherry on top was that there were gifts wrapped and waiting for us under the Christmas tree! It was the perfect winter wonderland stay for our Christmas holiday, and this is one of our very favorite Air BnB’s of the many we’ve enjoyed around the world! Many thanks to our hosts for making our Christmas so special!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect cozy retreat after a day of exploring. The cabin was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. We especially loved the sauna and the private area outside where we could enjoy the fresh air and beautiful surroundings. The host was very responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay. The location was ideal, just a short drive from Oulu but still in a peaceful and natural setting. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the Finnish countryside.

The place is close to airport, is easy to find, there is space to park a car. It's clean and nice warm (we were here in the winter). Comfortable beds and morgan food in the fridge were waiting for us and it was super good (especially because we arrived late). Thank you very much Carita and Rolf for the recommendation of a walk. Everything perfect, can be recommended.

We were the first visitors to John and his wife and we loved our stay at their place. Everything was compliant, very clean, inviting, spacious and close to Rovaniemi. John and his wife took care of us, told us several good places to eat and walk around. It was our 3rd air bnb from our trip and by far the best. Thank you for your warm welcome, we felt at home in Finland. We hope to see you soon!

We had a great time in Tromso, we love the house. The house is spacious and was comfortable for the 8 of us. There are 2 bathrooms but only one has a shower/bathtub, so it requires a bit of organization. The beds are very comfortable, we slept like babies. The is a great location, overlooking a fjord, and walking distance to a bus stop to go to Tromso (20 minutes bus ride). The supermarket is also walking distance, and open until 23:00 every day. The lighting system is a bit strange and needs practice to understand how it works 😉. Overall, the house is clean although for that price there is room for improvement.

This is sort of an unique place. If you are looking for a quiet little cabin in the wood in order to reconnect this is the right choice. Certain aspects are a bit strange, but this is due to location and so on. Great experience and the hot tub during the night with the snow...it is totally worth it!

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

We immediately felt very comfortable with Anette. Check-in was absolutely easy, everything that was needed and described was there. The pictures no longer fit, instead of the two small armchairs in the large room, there is now a round table with 4 chairs, which is also much better 👍 The washing machine was also great, which we could also use right away. In the evening we could also see the northern lights in front of the house. The breakfast is absolutely mega and very rich (vegans/vegetarians should announce this in advance) All in all absolutely recommended and we will hopefully stay there again!

The owner was extremely helpful and responsive, ensuring that our stay was smooth and enjoyable. Overall, a wonderful experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in Luleå. We would love to come back!

Very clean apartment with comfortable beds and plenty of seating. Two bathrooms was a nice surprise. Strong Wi-Fi. Very responsive host. Would stay here again.

Really wonderful experience. Viktor led us to the apartment and introduced the accommodation carefully. I was surprised to find that the apartment is much much more beautiful than the picture displayed. Really lovely, warm, and cozy home. It’s my first time in Tromso. I felt so welcomed. He introduced local food to us and told us when we may see northern lights. I think everyone who stay here will feel like home. Viktor is just like your friend in Norway. And he helped my friend to get her phone back, really nice and kind person. Norway became a more beautiful place because of this happy stay and the kindness of Viktor.🥰🥰Many thanks to him.

Sabrina goes above and beyond for her guests, and truly made our stay one to remember! She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and quick to share her insights to help us make the most of our short stay. We especially loved the wonderful breakfasts she prepared and attention to detail in accommodations! I had wanted to see a Finnish squirrel since arriving in Finland, and as we pulled in there was one eating at her feeder ☺️ lovely getaway in a fascinating part of Finland.

Johan and his wife were very kind, friendly and welcoming. Despite only staying for the night to resume my work trip the next morning we managed to make some time for great conversations at the breakfast table that created a feeling of wanting to return. As a frequent hotel visitor I deeply enjoyed the personality of being welcomed in to a home by these great warm people. Hope to see you again soon!

My stay in Finland was amazing, and Ari and Niina were incredibly helpful. They made sure my friend and I had everything we needed, from recommendations to arranging rides when necessary. However, renting a car would have made things much easier. I didn’t have my license updated, so getting around was a bit of a hassle. If you can drive, definitely rent a car. If not, don’t stress too much. Ubers were available, and Ari and Niina could also arrange rides for 30 euros one way (60 for a round trip). The area itself? Absolutely unreal. The northern lights were out of this world. It is one of those things that you just have to see for yourself. No words or pictures could do it justice. If you’re planning a visit when locals are busy, including Ari and Niina, it’s a good idea to communicate in advance about any activities you’d like to do. This will make scheduling easier for both parties and ensure you get the most out of your trip. All in all, Finland was an unforgettable experience:)

We very much enjoyed coming to Auktsjaur Country House after visiting the Jokkmokk Market. The house was easy to find thanks to Per's great instructions ✨ The served breakfast was delicious and had a lot variety to choose from 👍🏻 10/10 recommend

We had an amazing stay at Sampo and Yann’s place. Their home is peaceful and quiet, surrounded by stunning nature. Yann’s breakfasts were delicious every day, and their sauna experience is a must-try. They gave us great recommendations for exploring the area, helped arrange a local guided tour, and even notified us when the Northern Lights appeared—we loved every moment! I highly recommend staying here.

Very cute B&B with direct river view. The cottage style rooms are cozy and breakfast was prepared especially for us on request- although we were the only guests at the time. The hostess was also extremely friendly, we had a quick conversation after breakfast. Unfortunately, there are few restaurants in the area (next to burger shops).
