Cottage holiday rentals in Northumberland Strait

Our host, the location, and accommodation exceeded our expectations. Katie proactively set our expectations and was easy to talk to. The place was easy to find, looked like the photos, and had everything the posting said it did. We enjoyed the board game and puzzle selection, the quietness of the area, the hot tub, and the secluded snowy views. It was perfect for our quiet February weekend getaway.

Loved our stay here! This spot provides the perfect space for relaxation. Everything you could need was provided and the instructions allowed for a seamless stay. We hope to be back in warmer weather to also be able to enjoy the park nearby.

We went during a very cold two days in February with another couple to break up the winter. We knew we would not be walking the beach or using the hot tub but we still had fun being together in this delighful Airbnb! We plan to return when the weather is warmer and able to take advantage of all the other fun things to do on the Northumberland Strait! I highly recommend this Airbnb! I would rate this Airbnb five stars

This place was the perfect getaway with amenities close by and a peaceful property with a view! I will not hesitate to rebook Marco's property once we are back in the area!

Our family had a great stay! Cottage was across from ski Wentworth and had everything we needed. Relaxing vibe, clean, and cozy with the fire going. Wifi worked great, kids loved the hot tub and beds were comfy! Davis was a great host, quick to respond and accommodating. Thanks Davis - will be coming back next year!

We had a WONDERFUL time here! Stuart was flexible on our check in time and responded super promptly. The kitchen is really well equipped with cooking tools, much better than other air bnbs I’ve been at. The hot tub was wonderful and we had an incredible view! Would recommend for a cozy winter get away. Super quiet and not far from the highway so it was still easy to get to even with snow on the ground!

Was a great spot for a little weekend get away, even in the winter we felt right at home, the hottub and sauna were both running, even in January, and the location is just minutes away from the Fin restaurant. Everything was clean and tidy and had the perfect amount of space for us! The host was extremely helpful and kind, even bringing us over snowshoes when we first arrived. We will definitely be coming back to stay in the “steel homes” next door!!

The cottage was homey and very comfortable. Julie always responded to us very quickly, and stayed on top of all of our questions. The beach was incredible, the kids had as much fun as us. We definitely would recommend, and would love to go back!

May was great to deal with and quickly responded. The cottage and location were lovely and well equipped. Loved the yard and screened in porch looking over the beach and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Lots of fun for our family and dog. We often walked the beach without seeing anyone which gave our lab a chance to run and swim off leash and gave us quiet evenings. 😉

The place is amazing! The view is beautiful, the bathtub is to die for, the host is fantastic. I loved everything about my stay!

We’ve been going to Danielle and Drew’s spot for our annual boys weekend for many years now; it’s practically our second home! Sleeps all of us no problem, great common space, beautiful view. Danielle is always very communicative and helpful. Can’t wait for our next trip!

I've stayed at a fair amount of airbnb locations. Kathy was the most responsive and accommodating host yet. the location was perfectly suited to our needs.

I loved staying at this place so much. Chad & Nicki were super helpful and accommodating and eager to help make my stay as lovely as possible. This property is right on the ocean, in a very beautiful location. The place was clean and homey and I had everything that I could need. The place is a little farther from a town, but this was not a problem as I had my car. Overall 10/10 place, 10/10 hosts. I am looking forward to returning.

Second time to this Airbnb... once again loved it! No complaints... had a beautiful stay with our puppies! Love being able to bring them to enjoy time together. Everything was perfect! Host was excellent! We loved the extra touch of the Christmas tree and decos that were still there for our January 2nd vacation (made Christmas last just that little bit longer) 🎄💗 Would love to be back !

Izabella was an extremely friendly and responsive host. She made our stay feel welcoming and offered some good local restaurants to try out. Her directions made it easier to find the cottage which can be easily missed if you're not looking for it on the highway.

We had a great stay at Susan's place. Walkable to a very nice beach in less than a half mile, very clean, and comfortable. Everything was new inside, and the kitchen was well equipped. Great option for a relaxing vacation.

Ashley and Glen’s place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Nestled right on the harbour, the views were spectacular. Being able to watch the wildlife on the shoreline from the sunroom brought the outdoors in during our cold winter stay. The space was cozy and had everything needed for a quiet weekend. Ashley and Glen were very responsive and beyond helpful when we ended up needing a car boost before departing. Thank you for the great weekend!

Mark & Rachel’s place is a gem! This is our 2nd trip to Sunnybank Jr and we are already trying to figure out our plans to stay again next year. Our only regret this year was the shorter stay - we should have made it for 3 nights (or more)! But we thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights here. The upgrades since last year are a wonderful addition. Our family feels right at home here. The beds are cozy, there’s lots of seating in the kitchen, living room, and newly added sun room, it has everything we need to cook a nice family dinner. You can’t beat the views or the proximity to the ocean. A hop, skip and a jump down the stairs, you are on the ocean floor (or in the water, depending on the tide :)). Mark & Rachel are wonderful hosts. Thanks for another great stay!
