Absolutely lovely stay, thank you Helen. The cottage is completed to a high standard. Comfy beds, shower, bath, everything else you need. The hot tub was the best… especially under the night sky. A very peaceful location but close to A303 so access to the rest of the West Country no probs. Loads of secure outside space to run (we have a 5yr old & 2yr old)! Gorgeous church next door. Lovely pub in walking distance and Illminster a short drive for groceries. Can’t recommend highly enough.

We had such a lovely stay at Madeleine’s cosy cottage. The cottage really was gorgeous. Madeleine has thought of absolutely everything that you might need whilst you are away. We went to visit Longleat for two days with our 2 1/2 year old and she was absolutely thrilled at the extensive supply of toys and books. We had a travel cot, high chair and baby gates set up for us, as well as a little hooded bath towel for her to use. The fire was super cosy and everything was on hand to make it. The bed was really comfy and the linen so soft! The pub/Italian across the road was a great recommendation. Madeleine was very thorough with her recommendations for the area. The cottage was really clean and tidy. Thanks very much!

Victoria’s house was beautiful, and perfect for our 2 families (8 people in total!) The wood burner was a lovely addition in the cold evenings. Bedrooms were an ideal layout for us and having 3 bathrooms was great and extremely helpful. The kitchen was stunning with fully equipped cupboards with everything needed. Very detailed information on house rules and expectations. Victoria was a perfect host and was very responsive to any questions. I didn’t have any issues for her to resolve as the house was perfect. The location was great for us as all the outings we had planned were a car drive away, we did go on a walk that was detailed in the information folder that was in the house, it was a lovely 2hrs in the countryside and something we wouldn’t have known had Victoria not put it in there. The local pub which is as 1 min walk did a lovely meal and Sunday roast. I would highly recommend this property, and Victoria as a host was amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at Andy’s place. He was very welcoming, showed us how to use the oven (as we were cooking Christmas dinner for 9), the heating, etc. The house was in a great location with lots to do in the local area. Would recommend a stay here. Thanks Andy!

Had a short weekend at the flat on this loverly farm. If you want some where to chill and have some peace then this is the place to be. Add the style of the flat inside and out and how helpfull Lucy and her crew are, you the have this perfect place. The correspondence and information on the arrival and departure is first class. There is a nice little pub no more than a five minute drive called The Antelope Inn, very friendly. Thanks again Lucy for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful, warm, clean spacious house in a quiet but central position with parking for 3 cars. Samantha provided everything that we could have wished for and decorated the house for Christmas. We had a great time and Tisbury is not only a beautiful village but it has amazing places around it to visit. We recommend the Boot Inn just around there corner for a meal out. All in all a very happy few days.

Before we even arrived my sister and I knew we would love Stanleys cottage, and bot just from the pictures. Stanleys communication was kind and helpful and he was quick to respond. Stanleys directions and details of the house were in-depth and spot on. We just loved the homely feel of his home. It is obviously a place that he loves to retreat to and display the hundreds of books he has, and all the lovingly collected, unusual things from his travels. As a keen traveller and retired Travel Consultant it was bliss for me. The kitchen had everything and more that we needed. It is spacious and again homely and welcoming. We found the information folders full of things to see and do, if only we had more time! Thank you so much Stanley for sharing your lovely home.

Very respectful and warm upon greeting. Lovely tidy little place with all the amenities you'll need for a stay that has you feeling like you're right at home. Plenty to see and do in not only the town it's in, but public transport nearby can take you to neighbouring towns and cities quickly. Every aspect of my stay was 10/10 and I highly recommend this place as a great stay! Thank you.
