I spent 5 days in Gottwaldówka and took a break from the hustle and bustle of the city, the internet (there is no coverage), people and work - in a real village in an atmospheric rural, modestly decorated historic house. A quiet, peaceful, filled with memories from the old days, old stylish furniture. Every day, you could meet and talk to an elderly lady who takes care of the open-air museum in the building next door - thanks to her, this place has a unique atmosphere and beats the heart of a great passion. In the open-air museum, you can admire what life looked like in the old days, and try freshly baked bread on Saturday. The cottage has 3 rooms with private bathrooms and a shared kitchen equipped with all necessary appliances. Clean and fluffy linens, towels available, hangers in closet, hair dryer. Very good contact with the owner, who immediately responds to requests and needs.

Ms Věra was a lovely and a very helpful host, the place is easy to find and the flexible check-in was not a problem. It is a modest room for a single traveler or a couple. It has a fridge, electric kettle, stove, microwave oven and a kitchinette so cooking is possible. Grocery stores, ATMs, electro bike rental and a local pub are withing walking distance. Vrbno is a less touristy place than Jeseník, but there are local hiking and bike trails without having to use the car. Popular places like Praděd are within 15-minute driving distance.
