House holiday rentals in Oban

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

The most perfect location for a hen party! Chris was the most amazing host with all his information to ensure the stay was as perfect as it could have been! Chris was always on hand if anything was required and always ready to answer questions along with giving recommendations! Location was perfect in a very quiet neighbourhood with a 5 minute walk to the train station to get straight into the centre of Glasgow in no time! Would highly recommend staying here to anyone!

From minute 1 of booking this amazing lodge David was extremely responsive and friendly. This gave us a warm idea of what was to come. Upon arrival we were then greeted by another very kind and welcoming lady (didn’t catch her name sorry) who shown us into the perfect cottage with extreme politeness. The lodge was filled with everything needed, hot tub was warm on arrival, TV was huge and could be rotated (can even face the hottub. This was a bonus for us as we are movie geeks 👍🏽 The kitchen was stunning and some essentials were provided that we actually forgot to bring (salt, pepper, oil). Cannot fault a single bit of the stay. Immaculate. The outside porch was tremendous too. It is closed off nice so that even when you’re in or out the hot tub you feel 0 draft. Upon leaving we spoke to 3 lovely ladies, 2 cleaners and 1 other lady who was also super lovely (sorry no names again). We had a lovely time staying at Margaret's home over the New Year period. The house is well set-up and and was warm and welcoming for us arriving. The weather was atrocious for a few of our days but the house remained lovely and warm and we took advantage of access to the local hotel spa facilities which is a great addition to the booking. It's a great location for accessing the local countryside and we had some great walks when the weather cleared. Margaret was very helpful and responsive throughout our stay, and afterwards when we accidentally left some things behind. It's a great location, excellent value for money and we'd love to come back in the summer.

We had a very cosy and comfortable stay in Lisa's caravan. It was well equipped, clean and warm. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Glasgow. We had the best of both worlds, a beautiful view and landscape to explore plus an easy train into the city. It ticked all the boxes.

We had a fabulous time in Beth's little house and a wonderful weekend in Glasgow. The house was spotless, warm and very well located for walking to all the Celtic Connection concerts that we wanted to go to. Beth and Lis were really helpful and flexible as we navigated the impact of the storm on travel and check in. The living and kitchen space upstairs is spacious and really well equipped and the bedrooms and bathroom immaculate and very comfortable. Thank you!

Good sized home for a family to stay in. Very clean and we really like having two bathrooms, not that common in Scotland, bathrooms were also updated and modern. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. We really appreciated the washing machine. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, Victor even left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were a little uncomfortable and could do with replacement mattresses. Good house and value.

Brian was a fantastic host with an absolutely stunning property! The surrounding area is scenic and the property well stocked with everything you could need. We had an issue with extreme weather during our trip, but Brian was incredibly responsive and accommodating, helping to sort everything out quickly. We would definitely return!

The most perfect stay over New Years, everything was really great. Wonderful Skye views. The kitchen was really useable and the cosy nook upstairs with the wood burning stove was the perfect evening hang out. The house is well thought out, an interior addicts dream - we will be back!

This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.

We stayed in an apartment during our Scotland trip and it was really nice, the host send us all the required information so it was easy to find and check in into, apartment has all the necessary equipment and pretty cozy, will stay here in my next Scotland trip as well.

We recently had a fantastic family weekend away in this house. We were impressed with the cleanliness and how organised it was. The kitchen set up enabled us to cook for our group of 16 easily. The bedrooms were laid out for a comfortable stay and the house was heated well throughout. The hosts were responsive and very accommodating. The remote location provided gorgeous views and winter walks as well as access to local amenities such as shop and hotel bar. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at this property, sea views over 3 levels, ample space for us all (3 families (6 adults, 6 children). And there was literally everything we needed in the kitchen, every utensil possible, we were very impressed. The overall temperature of the property was really good, considering at times it felt like -5 degrees outside. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends. Very lovely and calm space. Waking up to a view each morning was my highlight. We had some spices and free food left for us to use which was very helpful! Getting to the place was a bit hard as we had not driven on country roads so narrow like that before but other than that, I was an amazing time

Just come back from a stay at Caroline's place. Beautiful home, comfortable and everything you need. Garden was great for the dogs too. So many birds coming into the garden, mainly goldfinch and chaffinch but had dunnock, house sparrow, blue tit, great tit, coal tit, siskin and robin. So lovely to sit and watch them. House very comfortable and very much home from home. Bonus with Coop on the doorstep. Good location for all local amenities and tourist attractions with Aviemore just 14 miles away. Caroline was very responsive and very helpful. A wonderful host and we will be back!
