Lake house holiday rentals in Old Hickory Lake

Spent a long weekend with my friends. We ate at an amazing local Italian restaurant (Mauricio's). Cuddled goats at Harmony Lane Farms. And overall had the most relaxing and fun girls trip we've had in a while!!! Amazing place, in a beautiful area, which every amenity you could possibly need! Sallie is a fantastic host!!!!

Ronnie is a great host! The house is beautiful spacious, and feels like home. Ronnie is thoughtful and makes sure that you have everything to be comfortable from extra linens to games and everything for morning coffee. He was great about checking with us throughout the week to see if we needed anything. Our trip was Christmas week and the outdoors was so beautiful and peaceful.

Enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful weekend at the water. The living space was comfortable. Lots of room downstairs to play. Easy to get to. Mostly we loved enjoying coffee while we enjoyed the view from the sofa. The kitchen was well stacked we were able to make all our meals at the Airbnb. The beds were comfortable.

Me and my family enjoyed staying in Elle’s place where we had the full use of the lower floor which has its own deck facing the lake. All 3 bedrooms are pretty big and the living area was great to hang out with. The Place is very quiet.

This place was such a wonderful place to host a reunion! The lake view was so peaceful and the home supplied everything that we needed! I would definitely recommend this home for a stay.

This was a Christmas getaway and it was a pleasant surprise that the house was decorated for Christmas!! We loved it. Plenty of room for our growing family and close to everything we wanted to do in Nashville.

Great place! Very clean. I would definitely consider staying again if we vacation in the same area. We appreciated having two common rooms for our extended family to stay together, nice bedrooms and extra sleeping spaces in basement common room, and good # of bathrooms. The deck was a nice place to sit/rock and enjoy the peaceful winter days (when warm enough). Basement (2 bedrooms and baths + a common space) was cold but mostly taken care of by quality space heaters. We liked being able to walk to the small marina and through the campground loops. Extremely quiet area during our winter holiday visit. I imagine there is more action in the summer (lake) months. Thanks for a quality stay!

My colleague and I rented Lorena’s space when we were in town for a weeklong training. She was a great host, and the house was exactly what we needed. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was fully stocked, and the access to the lake was really cool. Oh and I just loved the fireplace! I will definitely rent here again!

We loved our stay here! It accommodated our family of 14 well. The scenery is beautiful! We would love to return in the summer!

This home is wonderful! It was very clean, spacious, the kitchen had everything needed, plus a waffle iron, blender... we LOVED the ping pong table and arcade game!! Since we stayed in winter, we couldn't use the kayaks... but that would have been fun, too :) The basement family room area was toasty warm. The neighborhood was safe and quiet. A great stay close to Nashville!!

We came in from out of town to visit family and this home exceeded our expectations. The home was clean, organized, styled well and very welcoming. The furnishings were comfortable and beautiful and having access to appliances were key for us as a family. The kitchen had everything that was needed to make meals and make a hot cup of coffee in the morning. The yard was clean and you could view a water fountain from the fenced in backyard. The neighborhood was nice and location was fairly accessible to everything you need! To be honest, I wish we had spent more time in the home but we didn’t have the opportunity until the last day. Each one of our family members had their own bedroom; 2 of which joined bathrooms. This was our first experience in an Air bnb and it was fantastic. The booking was easy, hosts were very responsive and clear. Thank you for opening up your home!! We will be back!

The espresso machine and coffee maker provide a variety of choices to help you start your day off right. We selected this home for its proximity to a concert at The Mil, just a 10-15 minute drive away. Rafael was an outstanding host, addressing any concerns promptly and offering great restaurant recommendations near the venue. I highly recommend this home for couples, families with young children, or pet owners seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.

My family and I stayed here for about 5 days for a Christmas vacation and we all had the best time and made some amazing memories. We had almost every bed full and we all had enough space and felt right at home. Christmas this year will definitely be one to remember. The lake house was just perfect for our family Christmas! The living room even had a lighted Christmas tree there for us. I made Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a wonderful meal in a kitchen that’s not my own. The house was very clean and comfortable. The view from the house was peaceful. Having a fireplace was definitely icing on the cake as we had temps below freezing. The house is only 30 minutes from Nashville which makes it so easy to pop into town to do things. We did have a couple of minor maintenance issues and Seth was right on it taking care of us quickly. He made us feel welcome and is such a nice person! I would definitely come back to the Lake House again. Perhaps during the summer when we could enjoy the water toys.

I would definitely stay at this place again. We had a group of 10, mostly women, staying for my daughters 21st birthday. I chose this place because it was near Percy Priest Lake, which is very beautiful, and I wanted something to do besides going on the Nashville strip. We visited the waterpark, which was great, and we were going to rent a pontoon, but it rained the next day. The bedrooms are very spacious, and has lots of closet space. There are a lot of nice touches in the rooms like lighted full length mirrors, and hampers. The enclosed screen porch was definitely a nice quiet place for my devotion time and coffee in the morning. This place was like home, because we had everything we needed. Heidi was very responsive, and a pleasure to communicate with. We will see you next time we visit Nashville!

It was a nice peaceful getaway for my wife and I. House was easy to find, and was easy to get into via the door code. Everything looked and smelled clean. All amenities were easily accessible as called out by the host. We’ll definitely staying again!

The house is absolutely stunning! The property was like a dream vacation destination. Everything was extra clean. Host was extremely recommend this property . Bravo!

Catlin and her assistant were extremely responsive and helpful during our stay of several weeks while moving to the area. She responded immediately to resolve a plumbing issue and even took care of our cat and did extra cleaning while we were away for a few days. The house is cute and cozy, and had everything we needed. We also LOVED the location—absolutely beautiful, on a quiet, private farm overlooking a pond where my husband enjoyed fishing. We saw deer and other wildlife daily. Yet it’s also close to Gallatin and nearby stores and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Catlin as a host!

We had a wonderful girls’ weekend catching up on Virgin River! We would love to go back when it’s warmer to enjoy the lovely outdoor space and the lake.

The six of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Helena’s lovely home. She was immediately responsive to any questions we had. They definitely undersold this location. The back yard is on a 95 acre fully-stocked lake. Just across the lake and within walking distance is Veterans Park. We picnicked over there and enjoyed the amenities. We will visit here again, hopefully very soon. You won’t be sorry you stayed at this beautiful spot.
