Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Omachi

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully designed traditional Japanese home in Matsumoto. The house is spacious, full of authentic charm and amenities, with a private garden that adds to the peaceful and private atmosphere. The location is quiet and walkable, surrounded by excellent local izakayas, and within easy walking distance to the station and major attractions. The host, Masaya was incredibly responsive and helpful. Highly recommend for an authentic and relaxing stay in Matsumoto!

I used it for skiing in Hakuba! I was worried about parking because of the snow season, but the snow was removed in advance and I was able to park two cars without any problems.Also, the room was beautiful as pictured, and I used it comfortably because of the atmosphere! Thank you.😊

With the first time skiing in Japan and most foreigners for the first time to see the snow in the first place, I had a lot of good memories in a nice accommodation.Even 12 people were able to relax and spacious!The owner and his wife were also very kind people.

We were 2 families of 3 adults and 4 kids and had 10 days at the house for fab skiing in mid Feb. despite the amazing dump of snow the driveway was very well cleared when we arrived. easy check in as we arrived late at night. 4 bedrooms, with one tatami room downstairs and others upstairs. Note that there are two bathrooms but only one with shower/bath, the upstairs one is a toilet and sink only so required more scheduling after long day of skiing. kitchen was well.stocked with oven, kettle,.rice cooker and manageable for simple home cooking. the outdoor bath and sauna were thr ultimate treat for tired bodies after skiing and really worth it. House is in good condition but a bit older but heard they may update. note that the fireplace can't be used due to regulations on safety in Japan but house was always warm despite very low temps. A great place for a group and the kids loved it. Boot room/entry is small but adequate for skis and boots. Overall a great option for our group

This is the second year in a row we’ve stayed at the Creekhouse and we love it. The house was big enough to comfortably host 7. We had a van which gave us great access to the local ski resorts and restaurants. Underfloor heating in this place is a game changer, going to be hard to stay anywhere else without it.

We would absolutely stay here again. The host and his family are lovely people; we enjoyed getting to know them a bit. The host helped us coordinate the logistics of our stay, always offering recommendations and making bookings for us. The house and property are gorgeous, clean, well-decorated. Such a relaxing place to come home to. Some days we didn’t want to leave and just stayed at the property. We loved the sauna, which offers amazing mountain views. The beds are cozy. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, condiments and seasonings. A note: You would ideally want to have a car if you stay here. We did not realize we needed a international driver’s permit to rent a car in Japan (we’re from the USA) so we ended up taking expensive taxis to get around the Shinano area. It’s do-able but not without pre-booking rides and at a steep cost.

We loved our stay at Daniel’s apartment in Iwatake! Everything was as described & pictured. Pick up and drop off to station great - as was the food shop at the start. All staff friendly. The drying room was very good and something we didn’t even know was a MUST! The new Gondala was very nice and the view from the top of the mountain was stunning. The ski lift near the apt did not open when we were there even tho there was so much snow which was disappointing. Daniel always responded to questions friendly and quickly and I would recommend these apartments for skiing families. Beds and amenities were great - the washer and dryer also handy. The apts are quite a distance away from most things in Hakuba (good and bad)- it cost me $50aud round trip to go to the shops (10 mins) to get some good and there really is not many restaurants or food close by and the cheap taxi would not collect from the apts. Some other guests were noisy and could be heard through walls. Would love to come back

Justin place was well equipped with all of the needs that would helps you have a great stay. From cooking utensils to oil, salt and pepper to netflix. Having towels and soap is something i would always expect at most accommodation but cooking your own meal made my stay nice and a break from restaurant food. I would highly recommend staying.

It was a very beautiful hostel. The view from the window was also good and the atmosphere was calm. However, the owner was not available when I checked in, and even if I asked the employee, I waited for a moment. It is a bit disappointing that we had to wait about 30 minutes for check-in.

Great hospitality, tidy and clean!

The home is perfectly lovely. We enjoyed the large open living space as well as the spacious bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with many conveniences. The wood burning stove made the stay very peaceful. It was lovely to go out on the porch in the morning to have a cup of coffee. Our wintry stay was just what we needed to unwind and reconnect with each other and nature. We highly recommend the property!

This place just simply great for our large group. Lots of very well equipped rooms. Wonderful living space with elegantly furnished which made it feel like a luxurious villa house. Extremely lovely surroundings for a walk around. Kids had a wonderful time. Regret that we booked just for a night only. We will come back again.

We had smooth communication and support from the time of booking and throughout our stay.The villa itself was also very comfortable and satisfying.

We had so much fun!I think it is better to be careful if you go during the snowy season.Because it is located quite high up the mountain, we couldn't get up with the studless tires.It's your responsibility here, so I think you should think about it! The abundance of hot springs and cooking utensils was very good!It was a fun and good time☆

It's a very beautiful house. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The view of the house looks better than the picture. Well worth living here！
