Holidays by the lake Unden

In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and satellite TV (Astra). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

Cottage by the lake with hot tub, sauna and sandy beach

This lovely cottage is located a few meters from Lake Vänern and has a sandy beach, wood-fired sauna and a jetty with a wood-fired hot tub for 5 people. Perfect even for winter swimming! The view out over the lake is amazing! The cottage is 42 km v with 2 sleeping lofts, living room with sofa bed, TV, dining area, kitchenette, fridge/freezer, oven with stovetop, dishwasher, toilet, shower and washing machine. Large glass doors can be opened out to the terrace which has a gas grill, outdoor furniture and sun chairs. This is a quiet, nature-laden accommodation 15 km outside Lidköping.

The cottage is located on our property in the quiet area of Leksberg in Mariestad, with close to the hiking areas and exercise tracks in beautiful nature, grocery stores and public transport. Easy to turn off from E20 but you don't have to hear the traffic. 5 min by car or 15 min to walk to the city center. The cottage is just over 40 sqm. Combined sleeping and living room with a double bed that can easily be pulled apart to single beds if you want + a sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen with seating for four persons. Toilet and shower.

Dream home by the lake. Sauna, jacuzzi, pier & boat.

The accommodation offers a unique experience of relaxing and unwinding by a lake with a private sauna, whirlpool and relaxation area right on the waterfront with its own jetty, only a few steps are needed from the sauna to take a cooling dip and to afterwards be able to sit in a the warm jacuzzi and relax. Simsjön is a scenic place for you to disconnect from all the stress and get time for each other. With us you can borrow your own boat to go out on the lake and fish, there are plenty of perch, char & rainbow trout.

Charming and spacious guest house with fireplace

There is a fantastic cozy cottage suitable for short stays/overnight stays. Right in the vicinity of the E20 and close to shops, nature, exercise tracks and a variety of excursions at Lake Vänern. Located separately on our property, the cottage has an open plan living/bedroom, TV/wifi, fireplace and an en-suite bathroom with massage bath. Kitchen in mini format; fridge, stove top, micro and basic equipment. It is self-catering in terms of towels and sheets but is also available for hire for those who wish.

Idyllic cottage, 30 sq m, on a private beach, 10 m from the water. Ten minutes from the highway E4 and Gränna. Thirty minutes from Jönköping. One bedroom with a luxury bed for two and one room with a very comfortable foldable bed sofa for two and a kitchen area. Wood stove sauna, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. The host lives in a house about 50 meters further away from the beach. The kitchen is for simple cooking, using a frying pan is not allowed, but charcoal barbecue is available.

Söker ni en lantlig miljö med fantastiskt utsikt över Vättern? Då har ni hittat rätt! Känner inte till många stugor i Sverige där man kan se tre olika län från en och samma plats. Stugan har det mesta då det kommer till bekvämlighet. Fullutrustat kök, bäddsoffa, dubbelsäng och badrum. Därtill wifi och tv med Netflix etc. Utomhus finns ett trädäck med grill, bord samt stolar och utomhuseldstad. Har ni barn i sällskapet finns ytor att springa runt på, gunga samt åka rutschkana.

Uggletorps guest house by the forest

The cottage is 4 km outside Sjötorp and 10 km outside Lyrestad. There is a possibility to get there by bike. Göta Canal flows through both communities where there are also cafes, grocery store, restaurants, swimming areas and museums In the pictures you can also see the beautiful sea buckthorn which is 10 minutes away by bike. A perfect cottage for hunters, outdoor lovers or for the roads passing by. There are also bicycles for hire.
