Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Østensjø

Christian’s house is in a beautiful place not far from Oslo that you can reach easily by boat shuttle. It’s a very pleasant place very peaceful and quiet. It’s not a professionnal rental so you will feel like a real norvegian in a real house living. Christian was a perfect guest…very attentive and easily reachable by text. Nice stay

Christian was a great host, he was acommodating and was easily reached. The place is amazing, was as advertised and easy to find. It's located a bit far from the city (15mins away via tolls), but exactly what we want, peaceful from the hustle and bustle of Oslo. The place feels homey, the christmas vibes add to the whole holiday vibes. One small nitpicky detail is that, as mentioned by Christian, this is usually where they stay at, so as mentioned there is a bit of a clutter here and there. Noticed some unclean dishes and airfryer, but otherwise the place is great. Felt like home. Overall it's a 4.7/5 for me and my family, we had an amazing time in Oslo and a contributing factor was Christian's place! ♥️

We had a wonderful time at Clare Margaret's place. We spend time in the cosy comfortable house, garden and beautiful surroundings. Clare is a sublime host. She is responsive and has lots of wonderful tips of things you can do in de surroundings. We would love to come back!

I highly recommend Ida's house. Warm cozy and clean house. Close to many nice activities. We will recommend this house and we would love to ask Ida if she can rent us her house again.

We had a great stay at Silje's place. It's in a great location, and it was very spacious. We had everything we needed. Would definitely stay there again!

Optimal for those of us who had hectic days in Holmenkollen. Short distance, and lovely peace to return to in the afternoon. Along the way in the booking, we have always received quick feedback on our inquiries, and clear instructions. Cozy, clean and neat - very happy that we chose this.

Jan-Erik was a wonderful host and very helpful throughout our stay! the place itself was very cosy with all basic amenities and great views of the city. The apartment is located so close to public transport and all the shops which made our stay very comfortlable. The basement car parking made our commute very easy especially during the snow. It was a perfect stay for our Christmas trip in Oslo and my kids had a great a time as well!

Girlfriends who have had so much fun in the lovely apartment that we spent the same way the whole weekend in it with the exception of going out for dinner one night. The interior and room and decor suited us excellently and Monika responded quickly and was very nice. Here we are more than happy to come again!

We were very happy to stay in Olav's apartment in majorstuen/frogner. It was a lovely apartment and was accurately described and depicted. It was convenient to parks, restaurants, shopping, grocery, and all major transportation lines. Olav wrote to us before we arrived and suggested taking a regional train from OSL Gardermoen airport instead of the FLY trains to save us substantial money. We appreciated that! We hope to stay at Olav's again in the future when we return to Oslo.

Great stay at Sofie and Tore's. The accommodation is very beautiful in the Scandinavian style. The hosts were responsive and nice. The apartment is functional and very cozy. 6 minutes from bus stop. Recommended for visiting Oslo:)

Nice apartment well equipped and perfectly located to discover Oslo on foot! Communication was very easy, fluid and friendly. We had a great stay and recommend this apartment! (The icing on the cake: the rooftop terrace😍)

We immediately felt at home at Henriette's place. The apartment is very comfortably furnished and corresponds exactly to our taste. You can quickly get to the city on foot and in the evening you can sleep peacefully, as the bedroom is facing the courtyard and the bed is very comfortable. There are very few free street parking spaces for arriving by car. However, there is a parking garage right around the corner where the car is safe. We 100% recommend the place! :)

Mia’s place was perfect for us! Spacious, clean and very accessible to the train station to get into the core of Oslo (we even walked one day and it was a lovely 30 minute, low impact trek). The space itself is kept really well and had everything we needed. Check in and communication were both great

We really enjoyed our stay here. If you’re into saunas, it’s a perfect location with very short walking distance to one of the best sauna locations in Oslo (Sukkerbiten). Also very close to the train station.

Kawa and Marianne are two of the nicest, most helpful people we've ever met on our travels. They treated us like friends and went far out of their way to help us in any way we needed. Staying with them was a real pleasure. The apartment is comfortable, well heated and has a great location with good access to public transport. We will miss the place. I highly recommend a stay there.

We rented the apartment for a weekend when we were going on an anniversary in the neighborhood. It is a big and nice apartment with a lot of daylight and all you need of equipment, just great! Sylvi responded quickly to my questions prior to arrival, easy check in and out. Recommend this apartment in a quiet and scenic area, we would love to come again :)

The location was perfect. We took a train cause it was faster than a car to arrived. The metro station was one minute walking closed to Xiaojun apartment. Also his apartment is closed to the sea. It was amazing how everything was so closed to his place. He gave us clear and helpful instructions on how to arrived and open his apartment. Thank you for everything.

Lovely apartment in a great location for walking or grabbing public transportation. Anna Grete and Knut were both communicative and helpful with local suggestions. It’s directly on a park, which resulted in a front seat view of fireworks on New Year’s Eve. We thought it was great but it would have been rough if we’d had a dog or child who was frightened of them.

We stayed in this apartment for around 6 months during 2024 whilst working in Oslo for some time. The apartment is very nice and had everything we needed. The large balcony with sea view was definitely a special feature, especially during the longer summer evenings. Located in a very nice suburban neighbourhood of the city, close to public transport connections to the city centre, and shops, local town centre. Morten and Metere are excellent hosts, very friendly and more than happy to help us with everything we asked for!

Heidi's apartment complies with the photo, it is in a very design building and very well maintained, with a sleek decor that goes well with the atmosphere of the neighborhood. Heidi was very responsive and gave us lots of recommendations before we arrived. The apartment is very well located in this district of Aker Brygge, it is only a 5-10min walk from the tram and metro "NationalTheatet" which serves the whole city and especially the ski resorts. Skis in hand we were able to easily practice cross-country skiing after only 30-40min by metro only:) Around the apartment on the seafront of Aker Brygge are full of restaurants and bars to go out in the evening but the neighborhood remains very quiet (we were there in winter). In short, it was a superb very warm apartment, in a perfect location with a roof top to admire the sunset on the Fjord... What more could you ask for
