Cottage holiday rentals in Oswestry

We had a very relaxing stay. It was peaceful and the views from the hot tub are amazing- especially on clear nights when you can enjoy the stars. Niamh and Dave were helpful and responsive, whilst giving us the space we needed to unwind. The surrounding areas are fab to explore, with horseshoe falls just around the corner. A great week!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hosts were lovely and the place felt very homey. Wifi was slightly patchy in places and we struggled a bit to get the hot tub going but it was preheated on our first day and the hosts were happy to come and get the fire going

This place is stunning we were so sad to leave had the best time and our fur baby loved it even more with all the beautiful space outside not missing out Steven and Luke’s dog Mags who is adorable and loves a belly stroke. The pictures don’t even do it justice and there are not enough stars to leave you really will not regret your stay. Steven left a lovely welcome package, the log fire was on and it really did feel like home 🥰 thankyou so much for everything you were so helpful and friendly we will 100% be back 🙌😁

We loved our stay at Pilgrim Cottage as it was lovely and cosy and just like the photographs listed. In particular, the kitchen was spacious, clean and fully equipped with everything we needed. The bedrooms were beautifully decorated and furnished and beds were extremely comfy! Sam was a friendly & informative host. The welcome guide that was provided came in very useful and the walk-through instructions for the hot-tub, along with step-by-step photographs, were beneficial. Although we had read the description and instructions and were aware that the wood-fire hot tub would take 3-4 hours to heat up, we found that a lot more wood was needed to get it up to the required temperature. We were disappointed with the amount of extra wood we had to purchase as this was an additional cost that we didn’t anticipate having to spend :(

We had an amazing stay, Jane was very accommodating and a great host, and I’m sure we’ll be back again at some point! Would highly recommend if you want a peaceful getaway!

Stayed here for 3 nights with 3 other friends, host was very friendly and accommodating for us, place was very clean and tidy when we arrived and felt very homely, hot tub was a huge bonus after a big day on the bikes at Mick Extance!, views all round were amazing will 100% be back

We wanted a peaceful break and we were lucky enough to find Joe’s beautiful home. We were given everything we needed to enjoy a break away. Hosts were always responsive to questions and Hayden went above and beyond to help us. An excellent location and would highly recommend. We would have no hesitation in booking again.

What can i say? This was absolutely amazing! We would 100% recommend this to anybody looking for a relaxing weekend away! I have no negative comments to make. Absolute bliss! I also recommend getting the birthday package if you have celebrating to do! Amazing value and thought! Thank you again. Very excited to rebook!

Ideal place for us to be able to travel up and spend time with family near by. Roberts place was easy to find- thanks to great directions. The cottage was cosy and clean and had all we needed for a few days away. Great location - close to Chester and the zoo which meant we could spend a day there too. Good recommendations for local places to eat which we made use of- eating at the Cheshire Cat which was within walking distance.

What a fantastic place, full of thoughtful touches (towels & blankets for the dog, lovely welcome basket of goodies) and a great place to spend a few days walking along the canal. The whole house has been beautifully renovated with underfloor heating and wood burning stoves downstairs, comfy beds upstairs, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Cosy, welcoming and clean in a central location.

Had a nice relaxing stay over new year, just what was needed after a busy family Christmas. Was a lovely cottage with everything we needed and some nice welcome gifts which were most appreciated. Location was perfect being a 5 minute walk from the Severn Country Park, river and railway so perfect for our dog walking. Our only issue was on arrival during a particularly cold spell the cottage had no heat on and took an hour or so to get warmed up which took the shine off our start to the break, other than great and we look forward to a return soon. I cannot say enough good things about Rachel and Wisteria Cottage. Everything was exactly as described, beautifully decorated and exceptionally clean. There is everything you could need in the property, this is easily one of the best properties we've stayed at. Rachel was lovely in her communications and in person.

Ive cottage was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was ideal, close to attractions but still peaceful. Highly recommend!

what a beautiful accommodation to stay at, the surroundings were beautiful there is a road behind but not busy. The cottage was clean, of a high spec and has everything that you need. There are lots of walking routes from the accommodation. Local information provided also. Not far to travel to any amenities. Andrea was extremely helpful and would reply within the hour. Will definitely be returning

We stayed with our kids over Newyear and it was the perfect spot for us - close to neighbouring friends. Despite the howling storm and winds it was very cosy! we loved the cottage especially the decor and attention to detail. It had everything we needed for our short trip. We would love to come and visit again soon :)

Beautiful little cottage, right in the centre, very clean and cosy

Great location and lovely little touches made by Juile to make it homely. Really enjoyed our stay. One small point for possible improvement could be better mattresses. Apart from that very enjoyable.

First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

We stayed at Owl's Watch over the Christmas period. It was a lovely hideaway and had everything you need. We appreciated the fresh pint of milk, Welsh cakes and wood to get the fire started. The property was clean and modern throughout and had some Christmas decorations so it felt like a home away from home. Everything was laid out very logically and felt well designed. We hope to come back at some point! :-)

Unreal place, log burner and garden was a highlight. So cosy!! Went out to look at the stars at night and the location was so nice. Will be returning in the summer!
