Holiday rentals with breakfast in Otago

Perfect for our needs ... Family stayed at various times over a hectic week.... Dan and Vicki were great host. Very accommodating for my dog... We felt very at home. Thanks for a great stay.

We were so pleased that we chose Claire and Wolfgang’s beautiful cottage for our 3 night stay in Dunedin. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated and furnished. Everything was so cosy and comfy - the beds, the lounge, the deck and outdoor setting - and it was super clean. It has the most wonderful deck and view over the rooftops to Dunedin Harbour and beyond. There are some steep stairs up from the city centre if you’re walking - which is within 10 mins walk - but you don’t get an outlook like that unless there is a hill involved! Loved our stay there!

In one word, perfect!! Great value in a great peaceful location. The accommodation was very clean and tidy and was ideal for what what we needed. I highly recommend it!!

The perfect hosts! Sally's homemade granola and other daily staples, including fresh egg delivery set this stay apart from some others. It's evident that Drew and Sally work extremely hard to keep their place in shape, and yet, they make the time to check in on their guests daily to ensure we have everything we need. As soon as we mentioned our desire to BBQ dinner, Drew got the BBQ all cleaned up and ready to go for us. Koa, their very friendly (but respectful) black lab loved to visit if we were outside and never barked. The farm was so very quiet and acted as a peaceful reprieve from the noise of the city.

We loved this place - only stayed for one night but we wish we had longer to explore. Very spacious, lots of toys and everything you need for your stay with kids. Plus it was super clean and very comfortable beds. Thank you for all the activity tips as well!

we had an amazing stay. this house has it all and made us feel like wanaka locals whilst getting ready for a wedding. perfect place to rest after a day exploring and stunning views. would highly recommend

The hosts were kind and provided a great manual with lots of info and area tips. Lots of privacy. Highly recommend this studio apartment location which is higher up on a hill with great views. The studio is nicely furnished with great kitchen basics to cook if you please. Loved the bed and living area views and especially from the wicker chairs/deck overlooking the mountains day or evening. Relaxing place and walking distance to bus/water ferry. Groceries can be found in the Remarkables town center 3-4 km walk/ or 5 minute drive. Queenstown is a bus or ferry away. Loved my stay. Highly recommend.

Extremely tidy and clean. Breakfast was supplied which was great. Plenty of towels for our group of 5. Quiet area, a bit hard to find due to major roadworks, off street parking.

This is a great apartment in an awesome location, just a few blocks from the Octagon and close by the Chinese Garden, nearby lots of cafes and restaurants. It had nice views from large windows, and was clean, well-appointed, and felt safe. We used it as our jumping off point for visiting the city and wildlife (the OPERA and the Royal Albatross Centre) on nearby Otago Peninsula. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing space and very close to everything in Queenstown. The views were extraordinary. Chloe and Chris were also wonderful hosts. I highly recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Very comfortable and cosy apartment, heaps of room so ideal for a few days exploring. Warm, fresh croissants every morning and lots of lovely snacks available. We felt very well taken care of. Definitely recommend.

Jane Anne is a kind and generous host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Throughout the stay, she is informative and makes us feel that our space is totally our home. Very clean and warm accommodation with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, complete kitchen facility and your own washing machine for the laundry. Plenty of blankets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and breakfast cereals are generously supplied. Basically, we only needed to pack our suitcase of clothes and personal toiletries, then arrived at Ladybird Landing as our “Home Away from Home” We highly recommend, this is our second stay and we will certainly return.

Glyn and Howard are very nice and the place is nice to stay as well, clean and warm, close to the downtown. Thank you for waking up early to prepare the the breakfast for us.

We could not have loved our stay with Sally and Kerry (and Finn the dog) more! They truly went above and beyond to welcome us. We so enjoyed the time we spent at their lovely home, full of beauty and warmth, as well as the time spent in their delightful company. Breakfasts were perfect, the atmosphere relaxed as well as relaxing, and it was just an all-around magical stay. Thank you Sally and Kerry and we hope to see you again!

The most beautiful little house with friendly farm animals all around us. There was plenty to do on the property and in nearby towns. The morning birdsong, friendly chickens and the general appearance of the house were amazing.

Staying at Greg’s and meeting his charming farm animals was a highlight of our trip. Greg is like the kiwi grandpa you wish you had and one of the friendliest and most hospitable hosts we have ever met and would gladly stay again. Thanks again, Greg!

Hosts are really nice people. The place is quiet and tranquil. A few minutes by car to town. Would happily stay again next time we were in Cromwell.

Valerie’s home is just as described with one exception. The views of Queenstown are even better than in the pictures. The house was sparkling clean and very easy to get to. Breakfast in the morning was a great touch. I highly recommend this stay.

An absolutely stunning spot to relax and unwind. We would highly recommend—Michelle’s extra touches made it feel extra luxurious! Hopefully we can return some day.
