We have now stayed in several of Claire and Wolfgang's properties. All very clean, modern, and comfortable. Very responsive hosts. Would recommend, and would stay again. Note: This property, although central, is on a steep hill (as is most of Dunedin), so not the best location for those with dodgy knees wishing to walk into town. Thankfully, Ubers are available throughout Dunedin.

Carla and Ken are great host. We had a lovely week stay at their place. Clean and tidy and make us feel like at home. Highly recommend.

As a university professor on sabbatical, the month I spent at Drew and Sally’s was exactly what I needed. A beautiful, peaceful, quiet place to write and the perfect place to be refreshed too. I wish I could give it 10 stars. More than anything else, my parents and I appreciated their kindness and warm hospitality. We were welcomed as though we were dear friends and were given many fresh eggs, produce from the garden, tales of adventure (Sally climbed Denali and Drew mountaineered and protected people in Antarctica), and walks with Koa, the friendliest and sweetest dog ever. I loved seeing the stars and Milky Way at night, the cute town of Geraldine with the Talbot Forest Walk, the biking/walking trail right by Drew and Sally’s house, the nearby Peel Forest and beach at Timaru, and great day trips to Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook, and where LOTR filmed Edoras. I only stayed a month but I feel homesick and hope to return someday. We’ll stay in touch, Drew and Sally! Love from Laurie

Very comfortable and clean. Chris was very generous with our choice of breakfast. As cooks we were delighted to find a wok and rice cooker amongst the pots and pans. Our group of 4 would definitely stay here again.

My family and I loved our stay!!! This house is absolutely perfect for large families. Each room has plenty of space! We all felt like we had our own privacy from each other throughout the house. The bean bags were also a nice touch for the nights we wanted to all hangout in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed as well. Usage of neighborhood gym/pool/jacuzzi was great too! The views from the house were unbeatable and everyone on family agreed that this Airbnb was our favorite out of all the Airbnb’s we visited in New Zealand. We will definitely be back!!!

The cottage was really lovely and the owner was kind, warm and friendly! Hosted us in person, introduced us to everything in the house. The beds were super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed, including fresh farm eggs, milk, fruits, bread, etc. The cottage is located in such a peaceful area, and the starry night sky is amazing. Thanks for the wonderful stay, highly recommended!

Absolute Wishlist: One of these authentic AirB&B experiences. You will enjoy your privacy while knowing that Karen and John will be there to help you, in case of need. The accommodation is faithful to the listing, impeccable, comfortable, thoughtful, bright and this view: a happiness that you don't get tired of. Great, compact little place! About a 15 minute walk to Fergburger, and to some cute shops and such. Very easy to check in, and breakfast items included!

You get a beautiful view of Queenstown right from the comfort of your bed. Super wide panoramic glass panel to enjoy that view as well. Everything was great. Can’t ask for much more.

We can't praise Beryle enough for her warm welcome, amazing kindness, attention to detail and pristine but relaxed home. She generously provided lots of snacks and beverages, fruit, milk, yogurt, mueslis and warm croisssnts when required in the morning. She even did our washing beautifully and made sure our car window screens were clean for our departure. We have stayed in AirBnBs in lots of places but this one is one of a kind. The setting is quiet but not too far from the town. Everything Beryle provided more than made up for not having a corner shop nearby. The nearby golf club also serves a nice meal up until 7pm. The buffet meal you can order to eat at the top of the Skyline cable car is great too! We'd recommend trips to Arrowtown and Glenorchy ( the latter better in fine weather). Highly recommended.

Sarah is a fantastic host. She was so friendly and responsive, always available to help and provided local recommendations. The house was great also, perfect for our family of 4. Thank for having us Sarah.

Jane Anne is a kind and generous host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Throughout the stay, she is informative and makes us feel that our space is totally our home. Very clean and warm accommodation with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, complete kitchen facility and your own washing machine for the laundry. Plenty of blankets, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and breakfast cereals are generously supplied. Basically, we only needed to pack our suitcase of clothes and personal toiletries, then arrived at Ladybird Landing as our “Home Away from Home” We highly recommend, this is our second stay and we will certainly return.

We had the most wonderful time at Sally’s and Keri’s place. It is located in beautiful surroundings, lots of nature and places to visit the sea and take a walk. The hot tub should win an award for “most beautiful view from a hot tub”. With unmatched hospitality, great breakfast and the friendliest dog we can not recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for having us!

Our stay here was nothing short of perfect. The location is great if you want a little more privacy and peace, but not too far that you feel cut off from the busier towns. The home was clean and inviting, the breakfast foods provided were a lovely touch and getting to see the animals was also great. Nicola was an incredible host, even offering to help us get items back that we foolishly left behind! My partner and I would highly recommend staying here and if we are ever back in this part of the world, we wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Not a bad word to say. Just wonderful.

Greg’s farm stay was absolutely perfect! The experience of feeding the horses and alpacas was so much fun, and the entire place was peaceful and beautiful. Greg himself was an amazing host—thoughtful, kind, and always making sure we had everything we needed. This is hands down my favorite Airbnb stay ever. Highly recommend!

We had a very comfortable one night stay. Beautiful garden and lots of outdoor seating to catch the rays if you wish. Everything was spot on. Very kind host leaving delicious treats for us and a more than adequate breakfast. Cromwell is worth more than a one night stay and should we come this way again we would book again.

Valerie’s home is just as described with one exception. The views of Queenstown are even better than in the pictures. The house was sparkling clean and very easy to get to. Breakfast in the morning was a great touch. I highly recommend this stay.

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Michelle’s place. It was super beautiful and very clean/spotless. The bed was very comfy. There was hot water in the showers, beautiful bathtub, fluffy towel and bath amenities. It can get abit cold in the toilet but after a hot shower it’s all good. Michelle also provided us many breakfast options (Gondola, cereal, bread, chocolates, coffee tea) and other snacks which we very much appreciated given how expensive the food in town cost. Didn’t try the hot tub as it was too cold but it looked really nice! A bonus is that we could stargaze at night at her beautiful courtyard! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you Michelle! :)
