We booked Urs's place in June. It was perfect for my wife and in-laws as each room had its own bathroom. The best thing about this place is the views from the Terrace. Olivia met us upon our arrival to show us the place and give us the code and key for the main door. This place has everything you will need during your stay. We had to leave a few days early because a hurricane that was about to come and was impressed with the communication with Olivia. She made sure to let us know what the protocols would be and ensure that she would make sure we would be fine. I usually visit Mahahual once a year and I will definitely be staying here again.

If what you are looking for is privacy, a super central area, a quiet place, with private docks, unlimited use kayaks and with parking. This is your ideal place, we had an incredible time, with a wonderful view of the lagoon, the center 2 blocks away, restaurants outside the accommodation and shops a few steps away, flexibility of arrival, they let us use the facilities while they gave us the loft, and practically the dock was just ours, we were always alone, Peter always had everything necessary to have a good day, Peter was always open to solve our doubts, the WIFI connection was weak but he lent us a router and it was resolved quickly. The only observation was that he needed some maintenance and cleaning details (nothing that affects the stay), the bathroom door did not close well and the sink key was a little dirty, in addition to the fact that the bed gushed with any movement, no doubt we would stay again!

A very pleasant stay close to everyone to have a very nice stay. An exceptional host always available and with very good tips. Our family had a wonderful time moment. Thank you!!!!!

This apartment is great for those looking for a beach getaway. Its location is unbeatable. The facilities are modern and comfortable. Also, it has all the amenities advertised.

Jorge and Eric's space is an excellent option, the location is unbeatable, the pool was very clean and the beach area is very comfortable, the whole apartment is super functional but I consider it comfortable for four people, the space for six people can be a little uncomfortable, but the rest is super good, we will definitely return.

The place has an excellent location, everything is accessible, as well as the place has all the essentials for excellent days of rest, I really liked it! The only bad thing is that we struggled a little for the internet connection and the nexflix I never work, but from there everything is super good and Juelita very accessible, we had a chance to leave a little later than established

This is the perfect house for a large group. My party of 10 adults loved the house and the location. The pictures don’t do it justice. We especially appreciated the outdoor kitchen and the use of the Beach Club next door. Our host Luis was very responsive to all my questions. Checking in was a breeze! Pablo the onsite maintenance guy was great. He helped us with so much during our stay and he does a great job maintaining the house and the beach club. Thank you so much Pablo! Our overall experience was amazing and 100 percent recommend staying at this property!

Beautiful and quiet, excellent location. We used the kayaks every day and enjoyed the hammocks in front of the Lagoon. The loft-style home setup was great for our family of 4 (2 kids and 2 adults). We’d love to go back again one day!

Very nice, spacious and open beach house directly facing the ocean. The upstairs master suite is a sanctuary of peace and tranquility. The place is unique to other nearby homes in that it has a very large covered patio directly out the kitchen sliding doors, so this is where we were most of the time. Even if it is raining or windy you can be outdoors in that area. The location is perfect, you have the feeling of remoteness and peace yet Majahual is only a 20 minute drive if you really want to go to town. Closer, just about a mile or so south of the crossroads, is a minisuper with beer and liquor, snacks, and basics. The little beach club down the beach does not intrude on your privacy at all, in fact they serve excellent food. We brought or groceries from Chedraui and enjoyed cooking in the well-stocked kitchen. Bring a bag of ice cubes for the freezer! Having Samuel right on site provides a safe feeling and he is a wealth of local knowledge. I would definitely stay here again!

The dock and the view of the lagoon is amazing! We were able to go to dinner easily in the nearby hotel so we didn't have to get back on the way. A very nice place that I would recommend.

A beautiful place with a view of the ocean. It is idyllic.

This was our second stay at Xcabal. We really like this place. It is easy to find and very close to town, but far enough to be quiet and tranquil. The rooms are very pretty and perfectly clean, with super comfy beds and bedding. The shower gets nice and hot and has awesome water pressure. The dock area is super: great for swimming or just lounging around to enjoy the beautiful lake. The staff is really nice and helpful and very chill. All good stuff!

The place is as described. It has everything you need. The view is great, and you are just steps away from the beach club which is a big plus. I personally didn’t find the stairs that hard but for older people might be an issue. Worth the view though.

If you're looking for a place of serenity, peace and quiet but still very enjoyable this is your go to casa! Lake front and located about 5 minutes from the town of Bacalar. from hammocks, to kayaks/paddle boards to a dock located steps from your door front with seating areas to sit on the dock. Teresa is a fantastic host and had everything we needed ready upon arrival. very clean casa and well kept yard. Highly recommend, and we do intend to be back ♡

Fantastic place with all the comforts and gorgeous view. We really enjoyed the terrace. Only thing is the water temperature is not regulated, shower was either really hot or cold. But overall gorgeous place!
