Thank you so much Kyoko for having me. Your home was so clean and welcoming. I really felt like I was at my own home. Thank you for the nice note and breakfast and thank you for the great Saho river recommendation. It was one of the best parts of my trip. I felt sad to leave. Next time I come back, I will stay for longer. Thank you again for the great experience.

Traditional Japanese house with sauna & breakfast

JessicaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Great location and great house so much is in walking distance including temples, bamboo forest, monkey park, great shops and restaurants. House was clean, had great ammenities and great space for the kids. Host was very responsive. There are lots of instructions provided but if you read through carefully then access and use of the house works fine.

Kyoto accommodation with free shuttle service

SarahRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We loved our stay at Naoko’s home. From all my years of using AirBnb she stands out as an incredible host. We enjoyed relaxing in this spacious apartment, soaking in the backyard hot tub with the bamboo forest, exploring nearby Fushimi Inari shrine, and cooking breakfast. The beds were comfy and linens very soft. It is about a 15-20 minute walk to the train station but we enjoyed walking through the quiet neighborhoods. We typically took a cab back at the end of the day and this was cheap and easy from the local train station. Highly recommend this Airbnb and would love to return here for our next trip to Kyoto.

House w/ garden up to 7 people 6 mins walk from JR

EnahRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Very friendly owner! 😊 The house is a bit small for group of 7, but it is cosy. They have very nice garden, old school way of blocking cold wind. Interesting experience! Not convenient if no car though. If you want to enjoy peaceful and local Japanese house, this will be a good choice.

Walking distance from Itami Airport | Entire house | Stylish 3 bedrooms 12 people | Garden terrace quiet | Healing spot

ChrisRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Yuriko’s place is fantastic! A short walk or taxi ride from Itami Airport. Despite its proximity to the airport, I didn’t notice any plane noise. Perfect place for a family, a couple, or even a solo traveller to rest up during their trip. From the time you step in the house, you will notice yuriko’s attention to details to ensure your comfortable stay, including a variety of high quality food/snacks/drinks AND beauty products! Yuriko is a professional esthetician. So u can ask her professional services with fee. But if you are not interested, there is absolutely no pressure. So I highly recommend this place for every traveler who is in the Itami area!

Namba 502, Cozy & Clean 48㎡, Max 8ppl, Cafebar

ShawnRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
loved our stay here. great value and awesome amount of space for our family of five. separate bedroom for us parents was key! the sofa beds and futons for the floor were fine for the kids, might not have been all that comfortable for grown adults. again the space was perfect with lots of room and kitchen area. place was also very well supplied with everything we needed. location was also really good. short walk to sakuragawa station and could even walk to namba/dotonburi area. about 25 mins, but we did it on a couple of occasions with our kids (10, 8, 5). also some great small restaurants near by as well. we ate in and around the area a bunch. inari glean cafe right below was also super handy for a coffee each morning or a breakfast.

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

For a short escape from Fa for a few days, I came to the home of osaka ichie. He took care of me like a grandfather, the most touching thing was that I was studying at night and he made me a night snack.Considering that I love spicy food, specially added bean cappella sauce to stir-fry.Thank you ichie for making me feel warm, the best Airbnb.

It’s a Jazz Resort !

MichaelRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Our stay with Kuniko was truly amazing! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming to both me and my son, making us feel right at home from the start. We always looked forward to her delicious breakfasts, which were a highlight of our mornings. The room was comfortable, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing stay. Kuniko’s hospitality made our trip even more special, and we will definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

Private Traditional Japanese house [B&B Matsukaze]

CjRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The home was 150 years old, authentic and full of antiques. The bathroom and shower were adequate. The hallways leading to the home were rustic. There are many nooks to explore. The breakfast prepared by our host was delicious. The garden was peaceful. I felt we had traveled back in time. A unique experience. Great adventure. Not for people that look for dust in the corners.

1 hour to World Heritage Sites [Private] A house surrounded by nature.Relaxing homemade breakfast until 11 o'clock · Peace of mind for a host

SusannaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
This place is beautiful, peaceful and close to nature. Miyuki is easy to communicate with and responsive. The place is super nice, very clean and neat. The breakfast is simple yet very very homey and delicious. We wish we stayed much longer here. Locationwise is near the Gojo city so plenty of big supermarket, restaurants, etc. Recommended to drive so can explore this area better. We live the peaceful morning walk around the house. Thank you sooo much, Miyuki! Hope will be back here again in the future.

Japanese Traditional B&B Yogetsu

ShandaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had such an incredible stay at Chiyako’s home - she was so helpful, picking me up and dropping me off at the train station, cooking dinner on the night of my arrival. It was extremely beautiful to wake up with a view of the mountains and countryside and she always provided an incredible breakfast, including tea, local yogurt with fruit and a main dish. The space was really comfortable and I had everything I needed for a lovely stay :) I was there for five days, four nights in early March - it was a little chilly, but very peaceful and serene, so I loved it. I mainly stayed around the town, going to the onsen, yakitori restaurant, dessert cafe, etc and everyone was incredibly kind and patient even though I don’t speak Japanese. It was also recommended to go to Hasedera Buddhist Temple which was a short bus ride and one train stop away. I highly recommend- it was really special. I will definitely be back in the summer or early fall :)

Kizuna: Relaxing Stay in 150 yr old Farmhouse

유진Rating, 5 stars4 months ago
It was my first time traveling abroad with my dog for a month, and the process before departure wasn't smooth, so I was worried about whether the two of us could get along well. Those worries were in vain, and I really enjoyed the trip because Yuki and Kevin took care of a lot of things.😊 I'm so grateful that I was able to make a lot of memories that I wouldn't have had if I booked a regular vacation home or hotel! I was so grateful that you picked me up by car all the way to the airport and the station, and provided delicious meals every day. Everyone in the village was kind and friendly, so I enjoyed the Japanese countryside with my dog. I prefer a quiet and relaxing trip with nature rather than a crowded and busy sightseeing, so it was even better.☺️ I'm also looking forward to a new kids or house, so please invite me when the house is repaired.💓 Take care of your health. I hope you have a lot of fun until the day we meet again.🙇‍♀️🙇‍♀️ Cosmo and Hinah, stay healthy!!

Onigiri House (Western-style room)

SharonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The Sano family perfectly embodies what "home away from home" truly means. My stay was a heartwarming, comfortable, and unique addition to my trip to Japan! Great communication before my arrival. It rained a lot during my visit, but despite the weather, Sano-san kindly picked me up and dropped me off at the station to keep me from getting soaked. I was lucky enough to enjoy two home-cooked meals at their house, they are delicious! The nearby hot spring was perfect for unwinding at the end of my trip. Sano-san was kind to ask about my plans for my last day and ended up taking me to gem shops in and around Kaizuka city to help me find the items I had wanted but hadn’t had a chance to buy. One night at the Sano family's home was simply too short—I truly wish I had more time to enjoy their hospitality and explore the area further. I can't wait to return someday to see their adorable poodle, Vamos, who will likely have grown into an even bigger boy by then. 100% recommended!

Tsukiya-Mikazuki-old western style double room

MattRating, 5 stars6 months ago
I planned a trip to Kyoto with a classic B&B vibe in mind and while there was no opportunity to eat all together, Tsukiya was perfect! Location was exactly where we wanted to be in the city, with easy access to public transit and even walkable areas. The breakfasts every morning were thoughtfully crafted starting about 2 hours beforehand. The space was authentic - highly recommend to anyone going to Kyoto!
