Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Ottauquechee River

Caitlin and her husband, Peter, are caring, considerate hosts. They made me feel welcome in their beautifully appointed, light-filled home. They were open and friendly, interested in finding out who I was, while being respectful of my privacy. When I explained I didn't like to eat first thing in the morning, they went out of their way to prepare a yummy, healthy "to-go" breakfast I could take with me to the program I was attending. Caitlin even loaned me her favorite travel coffee mug for my tea. I was able to spend my final morning having breakfast with them and they prepared a delightful meal, replete with fresh fruits and flowers from their garden. We sat outside amongst the beautiful plantings and each shared with me a precious piece of their own life story as well as how they met. That's how I discovered what wonderful people they are. I would return there in a heartbeat. Staying at the Sanctuary provided a welcome contrast from the intensity of the program I was attending.

Second time at Sarah’s place and felt right at home! Sarah is an amazing person and host. Warm, welcoming and caring. The place is great for getting away from city, seeing fall foliage and just being in the nature. Close drives upto popular Vermont spots. We drove upto to Smugglers pass one day and Woodstock the other day visiting cheese farms and watching fall. My parents were with me on this trip and Sarah went out of her way to make them feel comfortable. Thank you so much and hope to see you soon again!

We stayed at Sallie’s bed and breakfast for the weekend and went skiing in Killington. The place was beautiful and warm. Sallie was a great host and makes amazing French toast!

Issy was so welcoming and friendly. The room was cozy, comfortable and clean with plenty of room to spread out. I felt entirely at home! Highly recommend!

If you’re looking for quiet. This is the place! The nature, the building, all of it was excellent. I felt safe as a solo female traveller to stay here. The accommodations are exactly as listed. The yoga studio is lovely and the whole place is very clean. I would for sure stay here again.

Absolutely amazing place to stay for a ski weekend at Sugarbush! Super comfortable beds, clean space, and great breakfast for a nice extra touch. Felt like home sitting by the fire after a long ski day! We will definitely be back.

We arrived at Maple Hil on a very cold afternoon in NH -- we were met with cozy living spaces warmed by wood stoves, coffee and tea available all day, and our room equipped with electric blankets and a space heater. Dennis fed the fires for us and provided silverware and dishes for our snacks in the living area; he also lent us snow shoes for a trek across the lake. We slept well and were excited to wake up to the smell of breakfast cooking -- as many reviews have said, the breakfast was perfect! We were located close to several ski mountains, a town with shops and restaurants, and Dennis had advice for all of it. This was a wonderful, cozy, perfect stay and we will be back for sure!

Fantastic stay. Lovely live music on Friday at the pub downstairs. very tasty food each of the 3 nights I stayed there. Clean and comfortable room with a great view of the mountains. Amazing hospitality at all times. highly recommend.

Staying in the Governor’s Inn was like taking a step into the past—in a good way. The Inn, itself, is pristine and well-kept, with period decor and furniture. Our room was spacious and cozy. The 3-course breakfast was amazing. Best of all, the hosts were warm, welcoming, and helpful. They truly made us feel at home.

We stayed at Hubble Shire Farm for a night and the house is simply beautiful. Amanda has put so much love into every room and it shows. We had to arrive late but she and her team were very accommodating and still prepared us a delicious dinner. It is a historic house so that does come with some quirks but she was quick to help find a solution. We would recommend staying here to our friends.

A great place to stay in the Valley close to all of the action! Tim and Rick were gracious and wonderful hosts. The pancakes in the morning were phenomenal.

Highly recommend! Beautiful property in a great location just outside of Woodstock and not far from Killington. Jason and Denise were very clear on instructions with how to get in and such, especially with our late arrival. The room was very clean and spacious, with everything we needed. Will definitely be coming back!

Honestly, it was even nicer than what you can see in the pictures! The home is so nicely put together and very much updated everywhere you look! The colors all through the house in every room are beautiful, and you can't tell very well from the pictures, but the kitchen is so warm and inviting! The hosts were Excellent, not only from their interaction style, but to how quiet they were outside of getting you setup and at breakfast. It honestly felt to me as if I had the house to myself. And lastly, Renata offered me a choice of breakfast options (included in the cost), which I've never seen in any of the 15 or so AirBnB's I've stayed in in my life.... and the food was incredible!! An onion and cheese omelet, and Brazilian cheese bread. Both were amazing! All I can say is Thank You again to Renata and Amra for offering their place within AirBnB! Best value I've seen from an AirBnB

This was my first Airbnb experience. From the very beginning, John and Kathy were excellent hosts. They come across as just genuine and likeable people - it really feels like you’re staying with friends. Not to mention, they are SO kind in opening up their entire (gorgeous) home and property to you. They make it clear that while you’re there you have free range to explore the grounds or utilize the fun on-site things such as the fire pit and relaxing common areas. The breakfast served each morning was so thoughtful and delicious; my husband and I really felt like we were being spoiled!! Speaking of spoiled, idk how I’ll ever be able to have a better Airbnb experience than John and Kathy provided as they really set the bar high. Looking forward to booking our next visit here for sure.

Great stay in the barn at Wise Pines! Chelsea gave super clear instructions and the welcome guide was very helpful! We had a private room which was cozy (especially with the provided space heater) and clean. We appreciated the white noise machine since our room was right next to the shared bathrooms and kitchenette. Overall great place to stay and I'd love to come back and stay for longer!

We were welcomed by our charming host. Kimmie is fun to talk to. The old house has a lot of charm in a lovely neighborhood. We took many walks to enjoy the town. Loved the cheese and bacon puffs for breakfast. Thanks, Kimmie

Maria and the team over at Dexter’s were so welcoming. We were in “the annex” building, which also has the game room downstairs. It was ideal, with a pool table, foosball, shuffle board, dart board, card table, air hockey a refrigerator and microwave! Quick access to the hot tub right across the way outside of the main house, snow shoeing trails to walk the pups and a lovely home cooked breakfast, we felt right at home!
