Little House is located at the edge of our 7 acre property. You'll enjoy the bucolic atmosphere of our farmette which includes use of our shared sitting area on Strother Run. The sitting area is shared with the main house which is rented or used by our family periodically.

Cozy Cabin on beautiful farmland w/ GOATS!

Cozy cabin - built by my dad and I - located on working farm with ponds, fields, privacy, and wildlife. Working farm crops range from alfalfa, wheat, and corn. There are cattle on the backend of the property. And yes, we have three Nigerian Goats who you can visit with! The farm was part of the Long Family Farm which was land granted to them by Thomas Jefferson in the early 1800's. My father purchased his section of the land late 1980's.

No hot plate or range in Studio. Wall mounted smart tv with comcast internet, dresser under tv and corner table as well as nightstands, wall clothes rack and 2 luggage racks. Small dining table with 2 chairs and outdoor small table with 2 chairs.

A country place

Truly is in the country - the heart of shenandoah. Just a jump to the caverns and vineyards, close hiking trails, and nearby is the Shenandoah river for kayaking/fishing . Lots to do in the valley, but we're about 25 minutes from Harrisonburg (home to our local James Madison University) if you're looking for more activities. Two four-season resorts close by also; Massanutten and Bryce. Come cozy up in A Country Place.
