The surroundings were surreal. We enjoyed the peacefulness and authenticity of the space. Our hosts were very friendly and thoughtful. I live what they are doing towards green clean living.

My stay here was one of my most amazing experiences in Savai’i. It felt like a cozy home away from home & I was so glad of the location. Petrol station & store right out on the main road & beach in our front yard. 10 minutes from town, the markets & the wharf. This was also located across from my family’s house & the convenience was perfect. The host was super helpful with recommendations for sight seeing & things to do around the island. She was quick to respond & the care giver was also so polite & welcoming. The home itself was clean & neat. Felt safe & secure & had all the necessary amenities & anything else we requested, wasn’t difficult to get a hold of. The host was very accommodating! The pool was unavailable however … you’re in Savai’i … there’s about 100s of other spots to swim at. I would definitely recommend this place for anyone’s next stay. Salty Lodge was our home away from home during our 10-day trip back to visit family. If you’re after a peaceful and quiet stay with a touch of home and aren’t too fussed about high-end luxury, Salty Lodge is the perfect spot especially if you prefer staying on the Wharf side of the island if you like to catch a ferry to Savai’i which is 5mins away by drive. Airport 10mins, Apia (Cbd) 35mins depending on traffic. The customer service was exceptional, thanks to the lovely Karleen and her team, who went above and beyond to look after us and cater to our needs. A big fa’afetai tele lava to Karleen for your warm hospitality! For those traveling to Samoa, just a heads-up: Wi-Fi and mobile service can still be a bit spotty. Salty Lodge doesn’t have a bar, but no worries there are a couple of local convenience stores just a 2-minute walk away where you can grab a cold drink. Enjoy it in the little fale by the ocean or on your balcony if you’ve booked an ocean-side unit. Highly recommend!

The surroundings were beautiful, the place was very clean, and the staff went out of their way to be helpful. They are in the process of hiring a new cook but, in the meantime, they were still able to provide me with breakfast and dinner and I was able to buy something for lunch from the small store just down the road. I really appreciate the extra effort that the staff made to help me. I also enjoyed their lounge ( where the WiFi is) and sitting on my patio which was shady all the time because it faces north.

A great place for family and big groups traveling. Enjoyed every minute of it and would recommend it to anyone who doesn’t desire luxury that much but want a place that is simple and friendly .

Nola was very responsive to all my questions and last minute requests. The place is beautiful, big yard to have games and family fun. Beautiful view with the palm trees it was like living on beach front of Savaii. Would book again :) her caretaker lives at the back so you are definitely safe with Nola and her care taker around. Thank you Poi and Nola for hosting me and my family 💙🌺

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at Nola's . We were greeted by the lovely caretaker. The hotel is closed as per Airbnb description. Lovely views of the sea from our apartment. A peaceful and quiet location. We didn't cook whilst we were there as we were out exploring the island but a useful frypan and rice steamer plus microwave available. Close to the ferry port (10 mins drive) where there are a few restaurants. Resort up the road if you wanted to eat there. Nola was a lovely host, always quick to respond, helpful and friendly. We went out snorkeling with Dive Savai'i about 45 mins drive away. Had a lovely pancake breakfast on our last morning at Adrias cafe where we were pleased to meet Nola our host. Would recommend. 👍

Nola was an exceptional Host. We enjoyed our stay during our Family Reunion. She was very friendly, accommodating, and communicative. We look forward to booking with her again on our next trip!
