Everything was just as I imagined, only better! The tranquility and homelike feel was fantastic, it was such an amazing getaway and I can’t wait to go back!

The place made the trip magical. The weather also cooperated for February. It got so hot during the day I fell asleep in the sun reading. Hot tub was wonderful after a trail run. The cabin itself is gorgeous, glam “rustic” so not really rustic at all but looks the part, and the loft bedroom so romantic. The fire pit was easy to navigate but it was too cold at night. But the stars and the sky added to the peace and rejuvenating quality of the weekend. Delicious eats but about 25 minutes away. But we made delicious meals and stayed in to enjoy the solitude. Love the special touches like the use of beautiful candles and the record player. Wonderful to shut out the world if you want.

Freewyld is like that babysitter you don’t want to tell your friends about. We had an absolute blast I shouldn’t even be writing this review. Everything was as expected and exceeded our hopes for a cabin getaway. Relaxing in the hot tub and laying on the nets next to the creek stargazing were two of our favorites but everything about the trip and space was magical.

Beautiful and charming cabin in the woods, well maintained with a large deck and hot tub. Comfortable bed and clean space. Cabin worked great for me to do some expansive day hikes and then relax by the grill and hot tub in the early evening. David was a great host: friendly and communicative.

We really enjoyed the cottage. Clean and a very relaxing mountain vibe. Comfy beds. The garden was a bonus. Very walkable to town and up to Ernie Maxwell Trail/ Tahquitz Trailhead. Hosts were helpful and always quick to respond.

The cabin was great. The views are amazing the deck looks brand new along with most if not all the wood in the cabin. The signs posted all over the cabin of instructions and bits of info helped. We loved everything about the cabin. Would absolutely come back

Our family of three, including a very mobile 11-month-old, had an absolutely wonderful stay in this modernized cabin near Idyllwild! The first night we had some fun rummaging through the record collection and had ourselves a little dance party to Dark Side of the Moon in the kitchen. In the morning we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen and headed into town. We explored the shops, checked out a local musician, and grabbed a bite to eat at Leanna’s Idyll Awhile Bistro. She has awesome Pear Cider and Mulled Wine! We headed back to the cabin after a few hours out, flipped on the wall heaters to warm up a bit, and recorded a few musical numbers using a nice little 3/4 guitar that we found upstairs. We got the baby to bed, put on a show (lots of services included on the TV), then jumped in to the hot tub for a soak - I recommend the recliner edge with the foot jets! We wrapped the night with Scrabble in the loft. Checkout was easy and Astrid’s communication was great! We’ll be back:)

Sandra’s place is amazing. It’s perfectly located giving you easy access to town as well as multiple trails for hiking. The hot tub is great, fireplace is easy to use…. The place is perfect. She’s also thought of everything. From leaving flashlights, head lamps, dog poop bags, lint rollers… anything you need, it’s there. I highly recommend staying with Sandra!

My partner and I really enjoyed staying here with our dog. The area is quiet and peaceful and just a few minutes driving from the main part of town. The house very cozy and the hosts were welcoming. Highly recommend staying here!

Loved Josh & Tammi's cabin. Have stayed here twice and it's incredibly peaceful and spacious. The wood stove is perfect for chilly mornings and evenings. The hot tub has the most incredible views of the stars. Only 10 minutes from town and trails. Perfect getaway cabin.

We had a wonderful stay at Gary’s cabin in Idyllwild! The home was clean and exactly how it is pictured. Gary was very proactive with giving us information and instructions and also provided a water bowl and blanket for our pup! I appreciate how detail oriented Gary is and it was the perfect weekend getaway. Hope to be back again soon!

I keep coming back to this beautiful cabin over and over again!!! End it feels like every time it just gets better and better!!! I can’t get over this place! And I can’t get over how wonderful the host is!!!! Can’t wait to come back!!! The most perfect place for some peace and quiet! The most perfect place to make your pups happy!!!!

This was my first visit to Idyllwild and I looked at a lot of cabins before picking the Clarity Cabin - and, I’m so happy I made the perfect choice! The welcome message and video made it super easy to find and the cabin is so well appointed. Every detail - from the comfy robes to towels to eco products from their Wildland store in town - you feel like a VIP guest. The location is surrounded by trees but is a 3 min drive to amazing espresso at Alpaca and the main village area. Looking forward to another visit!

It was a very comfortable stay; everything we needed was there for us. Jay gave us detailed information about what we could do and where to go. We will stay at the place again!!

Family of four. Two daughters ages 14&11 years old, loved the stairs to the two bed room loft. The house was clean, cozy and well lite outside for our arrival at night. Love all the quotes and Nomes throughout the house. Thank you!

Cozy and very peaceful! Great place to stay for our family of 8. Ilia was very responsive and accommodating for our fur babies during our stay. The place was not far from town and even had hot water for the shower! Definitely will be coming back for the next family getaway!

This location is perfect for a local weekend get-away. Especially, if you are looking for a little peace, relaxation and nature. It's private enough but also close by to hiking trails and the town which is a must visit. The cabin pretty much has everything needed all you really have to bring is food. The deck and stream that runs through the property is a perfect way to enjoy the day. The outside looks like a modern A-frame and the inside has that perfect rustic cabin feel. The wood burning fireplace is a great way to end the night. Would definitely book again.

Belle was amazing and her place was exactly as described, amazing cabin! And amazing vibe!

I love it here! I spent a week and didn't want to leave. The views and landscape is breathtaking and always changing with the light. The grounds are incredibly well cared for and you feel it. I loved having so many places to sit and draw, journal, sip coffee. The cabin was spotless and very comfortable. Great water pressure, excellent wifi, well stocked kitchen and bathroom. Susan was very friendly and responsive. If you're looking for a place to take a beat and reconnect with yourself and nature this is it.

We had a great stay at Steller's Nest. The host was very accommodating, and very easy and quick to communicate with. The kitchen was very well stocked. Our kiddos loved all the games, books, and toys, and even became friends with a friendly squirrel that would come to the window looking for peanuts. Great location - easy to get to town and easy to get to some great hikes.

I recently stayed here for a Valentine's Day getaway with my husband and our two dogs, and it was absolutely perfect! The location was ideal, nestled in a serene setting that made us feel like we truly escaped the hustle and bustle. The home was clean and exactly as described in the listing, which was a pleasant surprise. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub, which added an extra touch of luxury and relaxation to our stay. The cozy atmosphere made it a wonderful retreat, and our dogs loved it too! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

Linda’s cabin was absolutely lovely and cozy! Linda was very communicative and helpful throughout our stay. The cabin’s heating was excellent which is always a bonus! We were never chilly during our stay. The cabin comes equipped with everything you could possibly need! I love that they include a guide for your stay and recommendations for things to do and where to eat in Idyllwild. I would highly recommend this cabin and would love to be back someday!

fantastic location, lovely house, really nice hosts and quick to respond. walking distance to town center, nice creek right out the back door to listen to and watch. gem of a location.

The views were beautiful and the decor was very cool. We were able to take some beautiful pictures of the nightsky and saw more stars than we ever had before. 10/10 would stay again
