Cabin holiday rentals in Palm Springs

We had a wonderful few days here! It was nice and cozy for our young kids and small dog. We enjoyed exploring Idyllwild and the location was great! Would stay again!

Excellent stay in this delightful cabin. The cabin was as described and was clean and very functional. What a treat to stay in a real log cabin! Only negative was that you are by windmills which means that there is a lot of WIND, which is not host's fault. The wind would howl at night so if you are a light sleeper, be sure to bring earplugs! The wind made everything harder, fire pit wouldn't stay lit, it was super cold getting to and from the hot tub, and even my luggage rolled off the deck! Overall we enjoyed our experience and felt the hosts were very communicative and kind.

Absolute magic. This trip was our opportunity to experience Idyllwild and Freewyld before we brought our family together there later this summer. It was amazing. Exactly as described, beautifully curated and truly built to help you disconnect from the chaos of real life. Modern conveniences and well thought out amenities really made it so that if you have to work like I did, you have everything you need from great WiFi to linens so soft I was searching for labels to buy for home. The crisp mountain air, the sound of the creek and the comfortable spaces that promote enjoying a disconnect have us counting down the days to return with our entire family and really experience the Live Wyld life for a four days. Don’t hesitate to book.

This was our first visit to Joshua Tree and it didn’t disappoint. After two nights in Vegas we wanted a relaxing place to unwind. The views at sunset and sunrise were sensational, and the house had been refurbished to make the most of this. The hosts were communicative, available but unobtrusive. Our only regret was not staying longer. We will definitely return to the area and this place!

Excellent last minute spring break! We were lucky enough to find Raccoon Rock available for our dates. Beautiful mountain retreat nestled among pines and cedars, with views of San Jacinto mountain. Despite being in a neighborhood, the cabin felt secluded from neighboring homes. Major plus for our family is that the cabin is pet friendly, and there were no indications of previous pets as the cabin was clean! The hot tub was a major hit and perfectly placed on the deck so you feel like you’re in the woods. Cabin is close to town and David gave us excellent recommendations for restaurants in town. Check in was easy and David responds typically within minutes with any questions or requests. We will definitely be returning to Raccoon Rock! Thanks for a wonderful stay

This was an ideal place for a relaxing weekend getaway! Great location, walkable to the village and to trailheads. A home away from home with everything we needed. Expectations and instructions were clearly communicated and Anna was very friendly and responsive. Highly recommend a stay here!

My husband and I enjoyed a nice little getaway at Astrid’s cabin. The house has a lot of character with a fun, cozy vibe. It felt private but is also just a quick drive away from town. The bedrooms are spacious with comfy beds, and the upstairs loft is a great place to hangout and play board games or listen to records. The living room is also a nice to place to relax and watch tv. The house was very clean and contained all listed amenities. The hot tub was a lovely bonus, especially after a long day of hiking. It was clean, and the water was already set to a perfect temperature. It’s a great place to take in the beautiful surroundings. Astrid was very responsive, quick to answer any questions we had. She made us feel right at home. We look forward to coming back in the future with our kids and would certainly recommend her place to friends.

Can’t say enough about our stay. Samantha is a host that has clearly thought about the small things so that when you arrive, you can drop your stuff and immediately disconnect. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with anything you may need and has all the staples. The house is beautiful and situated in a calm neighborhood with many trees that give you ample privacy. Meals out on the deck were serene and comfortable with their furniture set up. The downstairs suite and sunroom is the real highlight of the house. We loved our morning coffees there, with the windows open and observing/listening to all the wildlife that passed while finishing the day off with a soak in the tub. 100% will return!!

My boyfriend and I, and our pup, needed a getaway from the daily grind and wanted to check out Idyllwild. This adorable A-frame provided us with the perfect spot to do so. Nestled in the mountains with an awesome deck surrounded by trees, jacuzzi, wood burning stove, it was just what we needed. I love the style of this cabin, modern but still homey. Great location too, easy 10 minute drive into town with some awesome restaurant options and cute galleries! Great hiking all over. The hosts were great, very communicative!! We would definitely stay again! Thank you 🙏🏼

This is the second time we stayed in this cozy home. We love this home very much because it is cozy, quiet, clean, and walkable to Village Center of Idyllwild. The check-in and check-out procedures are super easy, and the host always communicate very well with us via Airbnb app. Thanks to the host. We enjoyed the stay very much...We had coffee on the porch, walked around the town with our little dog, watched 2 movies, and enjoyed eating out! A perfect getaway weekend to celebrate our anniversary.

Great stay! Gary was very detailed with directions, instructions, and willing to support as needed. The cabin was plenty spacious for two, really enjoyed the large windows with views of the trees. Would stay here again if visiting the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Peaceful Pines! The cozy cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. The backyard is a huge blessing and allowed us to have some time together without our pups. Jay is a kind person and welcomed us when we arrived. We are hoping to make this an annual trip! Thank you Jay 🐾

Clean, quiet, and it looks exactly like the pictures. The dirt road to the house was easy to navigate and had no issues what so ever. Annalee was very responsive and her check in/ check out instructions was very clear. Would recommend this place especially if you are wanting to get away the hustle and bustle of city life.

The space was absolutely beautiful and is just like the photos - modern yet warm and inviting. It was the perfect starting point for a family getaway in the mountains of Idyllwild. The kids (and the adults for that matter) loved the shuffleboard. The outside jacuzzi also worked without a hitch, unlike many jacuzzis represented on Air BnB. Paul and Melanie were very communicative throughout our stay and helpful. We hope to be back again in the future!!!

The place is located very close to town; however, you still get peace and quiet. There are multiple trees and pines around the neighborhood to make you feel like you are walking in the forest, you might also see a wolf if you get lucky. It has all the amenities listed. The best thing about this place is that I was able to enjoy it with my dog. They were even kind enough to leave snacks for me and treats for my pup. Definitely, check this place out if you want somewhere quiet and relaxing to be with your pup.

Heather's home is warm and welcoming. We loved her care for detail, fantastic taste, quality linens throughout the home, and cozy fireplace. The screened patio and view were the perfect setting for morning coffee, and we enjoyed doing a puzzle on the coffee table next to the fire. We felt very at home and wanted to stay longer. (even after extending our stay for an extra night) Hope to be back sometime soon. Thank you, Heather and Alex!

Beautiful location, excellent cabin. Anita was very responsive, helpful and kind. Everything was exactly as described/pictured, all amenities were great, close to town and stores, provided items were perfect and thoughtful. Can not wait to visit again!!

My wife and I stayed in Susan's cabin in Twentynine Palms and used it as a home base while exploring Joshua Tree National Park with our daughter. We loved our stay! The cabin was very nicely finished, well equipped, beautifully landscaped, and extremely peaceful. We loved sitting out on the patio in the mornings and the evenings, and were cool and comfortable inside during the heat of the day. As you can imagine, the night sky is incredible and we all enjoyed looking at the stars on the astro bed. Check-in and check-out were easy and our host Susan was extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating. We'd definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful and peaceful home! We had the most relaxing week surrounded by nature and peace. Slow mornings on the sunny patio, bird watching, and beautiful walks. The WiFi is extremely fast and reliable. Highly recommend for anybody who has to be on nonstop video calls. This little cabin was like cream for our souls.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at Linda's cabin. It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathrooms, etc. Linda was very communicative and responsive when we had questions and went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay. We already miss the peaceful surroundings and great views off the deck or from living room. Hope we have a chance to come back again!

My family and I arrived very late to the house as we were coming from Indian Wells. We had the best rest, it was very comfy and spacious for us all, had all the amenities we needed. Ilia was always responsive and gave us advices ahead of time. We had a wonderful time. The house was warm and cozy by when we arrived which was very much appreciated as we all came tired and cold. Highly recommended.

The cabin is wonderful, the location feels private and has just enough neighbors for the place to not feel like a creepy desert at night haha. The beds are very comfortable and the windows in the cabin create beautiful natural lighting in the morning and during the day. Also, the host is very caring and responsive.
