Holiday rentals with lake access in Pamplemousses District

The Lovebirds Villa is the perfect place to spend a few days or a month as we did. The location is ideal for visiting Port Louis and the west coast beaches. Port Chambly is a charming community with a superb swimming pool and lounging area overlooking the river. The hotel bar and restaurants are steps away from the villa and have lovely outdoor terraces with river views. Kayak hire is available and a guided river boat trip was fun. Tania and Ryan are very kind, receptive and proactive hosts and their villa is modern, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed watching and hearing the beautiful birds and seeing the monkeys, although thankfully they don’t come near the villa! Having Netflix and Amazon Prime was an added bonus. You will most certainly enjoy your stay at Lovebirds Villa.

The house is located in a beautiful community of port chambly. The community is safe and secure. It's gated and protected. The house was super clean and had all the necessary items in the house. Views from both the rooms are breathtaking. It has a balcony attached to the dinner table and the view outside of the balcony is worth having all meals on the dinner table. The host Ida and her husband were very helpful in making our stay in Mauritius very joyous and hassle-free. Both helped us with our rental car requirement. Helped with taking us to buy groceries so we could cook at home since we are vegetarian. We cooked a few times at home and used many utensils. The utensils are all new and pristine. We used the microwave, oven, and freeze. There is a washing machine, which we couldn't figure out how to use. Moreover, the house comes with a community swimming pool. To access the swimming pool Mauritius phone number (sim) is required. Trust me and book it. You'll love it

Josiane's place was in pristine condition, and looks better in person when comparing with the pictures. It's located in an estate, with access to 2 restaurants which is part of the hotel within the same estate. The aircon in the lounge and in the bedroom work decently, and is definitely something you want when visiting Mauritius in summer. Josiane was responsive and all instructions given were extremely clear. I don't give a 5 star easily, but in this case it's very well deserved. Josiane attention to detail is not something very common when renting airbnb. Definitely recommended! Thanks Josiane, we enjoyed our stay at your place!
