Beautiful home very near Ohakune town center (with easy beautiful outdoor walks to and from the property). Views and space itself exceeded already high expectations set by the photos. Well equipped kitchen and thoughtful touches from the spa, kitchen and bathroom supplies, to the fireplace and TV streaming options.

Hamish was kind and helpful and a great communicater. We had hoped to visit the National Park, but also needed a day to regroup. Our stay at this little slice of Heaven helped us achieve just that. The details of this chalet were impressive. There was such character and thought behind its design. Beautiful ! Thank you so much for sharing you lovely place with us.

Beautiful house with comfy deck areas outside! Wonderfully decorated and looked brand new. Stargazing while soaking in the hot tub on the deck was great! Would highly recommend staying here.

Simon and Sue’s place was perfect for a night in Ohakune on our roadtrip down the South Island. Clean, comfortable, thoughtful amenities, conveniently located. Our kids especially enjoyed running to the school across the road to play on the epic playground!

The unit was very suitable for four adult males having a weekend in Wanganui. Ideal access to numerous walking tracks and within walking distance of supermarkets and local Club (St. John’s). Adrienne is a very helpful host who provides a well stocked kitchen with tea/coffee, milk, butter, tomato sauce etc. so that guests do not need to head for the supermarket upon arrival.

This is an excellent place—I would say even better and more beautiful than the pictures suggest. It is modern, clean, warm, well-equipped, and really big. There were just four of us, but I think a group twice as big could be comfortable there. The spa pool was a wonderful feature. Thank you for hosting us, Lindsay!

The home was clean, comfortable and perfect for our family of 3’s needs. We enjoyed our stay and definitely would reconsider if we were to visit again. Property managers were responsive, helpful and gracious. One minor issue - we felt that ‘there were too many rules’ - this didn’t take away from our overall strongly positive impression, however. Walkable distance to the town and good options for meals - The Cypress Tree and Osteria Ohakune were excellent.

The coziest wooden mountain get-away! We all wish we could’ve stayed for more than a night. Highly recommend!
