Wild Carp - Dream cottage + pontoon and pavilion

We spent a few unforgettable days with our family at Wild Carp, in the Danube Delta, and we couldn't have chosen a more suitable place to stay! The view is absolutely gorgeous and it was one of the main reasons we chose this location. The accommodation is perfectly equipped, having everything necessary for a comfortable family vacation. The owner is extremely thoughtful and always willing to help, which added a touch of warmth and hospitality to our stay. The village where the accommodation is located is picturesque with easy access to restaurants and the proximity to Murighiol (only 10 min by car) makes it very easy to take boats for walks on the Danube. We highly recommend Wild Carp for anyone who wants to spend quality time in the Danube Delta. We had a very nice few days and we can't wait to come back!

Thank you Crina, everything superlative. The dismal gazebo accessorized with everything you need, even if we were in the cold period, heating at the wood-burning stove, gorgeous. Accommodation in large rooms, new furniture, with everything you need, everything smelled very good and I can continue.... WELL DONE! I'm sure we'll be back! Thank you!

The house is beautiful and very clean. The room of us was great. We stayed with razvans grandparents in the house. Which was very relaxed. they are very nice. The grandmother gave us super delicious breakfast and dinner. Which was very good, since there are no supermarkets. We have a fantastically beautiful boat trip with the neighbors.

We had a really great week, staying at Marius place. It’s a very tranquil location, where one can properly rest. Beds were very comfortable, heat was running well, and during day time we took advantage of the big yard, and all the barbecue options. It was really nice to find a place where we could bring our dogs, and they had enough space to explore and play. Marius was very easy to communicate with, and he made sure we weren’t missing anything. Overall it’s a great stay on the most beautiful streets of the village.

Casa "Dor de Lac" JURILOVCA

This is an amazing property and the photos do not do it justice. Every bedroom (3) is spacious with comfortable beds and cheerful decor. The kitchen is super well equipped (the Krups coffee maker is a Porsche). The yard is full of roses, the pool is delightful, and parking was secure. Best of all, the young couple who built the house live next door. Nicoletta and her husband Bogdan are delightful. They made us fish delicacies on the outdoor grill. Bogdan took us in his boat (6 of us; fits 8-10) to the amazing beach at Gura Portitei, then waited many hours for us for less than the ferry costs. Meanwhile, people who had to work had excellent WiFi. It was a wonderful whirlwind visit and we will come back for a week next summer. NOTE: We traveled with our 4 adult children but this property would be especially great for two families traveling with young children. Cats, chickens, playground in the yard...Basically a rural paradise.

Traditional house in Danube Delta

We didn't miss anything in Stefan's place. The cottage in Jurilovca is very well equipped and ideal for spending a few great days in the idyllic surroundings. The Airbnb is relatively close to the water and offers so many opportunities for exploring the Danube Delta. Stefan warmly welcomes his guests and can give great excursion tips and helpful information about the area.

The apartment is more than you can ask for at this price, the location of it it’s really great, being 2 minutes away from the most important streets in the city, from the center and from the Danube. Every room has all the necessities, from the bathroom to the kitchen to the living area and even a balcony for smokers too, nothing misses from the apartment that makes you feel like you’re on your own home. The host had been really helpful with all the informations and has been there even at late hours. In conclusion, for the price I paid it’s the perfect Airbnb I could ask for.

The owners of the house are extraordinary people! Very friendly and helpful. I could not imagine a better place to stay! We got everything we needed, starting for the dinner, fruits from the garden. The best thing was the recommendation of the person who took as on the whole day boat trip in the Danube delta. It was an amazing experience and we are really grateful for this recommendation. Stefan, the owner just made one phone call to his friend and it all was organized with no time! The house itself is located in a beautiful place. You can see the river and listen to the sounds of nature. The are also 7 cats and 2 dogs, which are very nice companions. We spend several days in Romania in different parts of the country, but this place was the best one and will stay in our hearts forever. I can recommend it to everyone who is looking to quite, peaceful and friendly space and also good companion. 10 stars!!!

Old Fisherman's House Jurilovca

We are traveling as a family of 5 by car through Romania and felt right at home in the accommodation. The rooms are cozy, there is also air conditioning, the kitchen is functional, outdoors (covered and protected with mosquito nets) and with a phenomenal view!! The garden is beautiful, we were also allowed to harvest tomatoes and fruits, and our children enjoyed the cats that are out and about... There are some shops and restaurants in the village, which are also easily accessible on foot. Nice is a picnic at the lake, by car about 15 minutes drive. Or a boat trip to the Black Sea. A local food was also particularly nice with our hosts and a view of their vegetable garden. We were spoiled with culinary delights!! All in all it was a wonderful stay!! Thank you!!

Apartments in traditional house in Danube Delta

Doru, his wife and his daughter Alma made us feel welcome from the moment we first stepped through their gate into a wonderful courtyard with thatched roof houses either side. Based from Plopu, a quiet and unspoiled village facing the serene Delta countryside (where Doru's place is the only guesthouse in the whole village), we were able to experience the nature and wildlife in a unique way. We trusted Doru to show us around the delta in one of the family boats and as it turns out he is one of the most knowledgeable guides whose biggest reason to do what he does is his genuine love for nature and wildlife. We started early in the morning (not before a hearty Romanian breakfast made with local produce) and were on the water in time to see dozens of bird species, which Doru knew so much about. Dinner at their place was also the best food we had during our stay in Romania, food was simply catch-of-the-day with few but very fresh and locally sourced ingredients. Doru and Alma were very friendly and attentive and we had great conversation about life in the delta. Words are not enough to recommend this place--it is the best place for those looking to truly immerse themselves in the quiet and peace of nature in the Danube Delta among a lovely local family.
