Lauren is an amazing host! She is extremely friendly, responsive and most importantly worked with me and my needs with my 91 year old mom and my fur babies. The fenced yard was very convenient. The cottage is very welcoming, charming, cute, cozy and fully equipped with anything you might need in the kitchen, games, 3 TVs, nice scent apothecary toiletries, plenty of blankets, wine glasses, coffee bar and much more. This is exactly the type of experience you want from a cabin in the woods, the decor has undoubtedly been a work of art to find all the little details, art work and niches around the cabin. Tastefully decorated. I enjoyed a glass of wine in the deck, with frequent deer and even elk sightings. On Easter weekend we enjoyed the views of beautiful snowfall. She is fair and honest. I definitely recommend !

The little house was just what we needed. It was private and quiet. Felt like we were out in the country yet close enough to town to get pizza delivered! Palo Duro never disappoints however it was a little warm during our visits but it was nice to come back to the air conditioning. Canyon has some good places to eat and Got Doughnuts? is on the way to Palo Duro for some really tasty treats. The beds are comfortable. Hardly any traffic on the road in front of the house. Cute horse next door. Out back there are birds to watch with rabbits and cows too! It is always nice to have a nice place to stay that allows dogs too..

Wonderful place to stay. Ample space for myself or another person. Small but quaint. 10x better than any of the hotels/motels I could have checked into. Better on price and amenities. (full service kitchen). And better privacy. Saw 0 pest, unlike a lot of the motel reviews I read. Not even a question if I'd stay here again, hands down absolutely. Walking distance to bar scene.

That was the best surprise ever! We came in from a long drive and couldn't have been happier to be in such a welcoming spot. We barely made it inside the house as the private patio was so inviting we just settled into the comfy porch. There is so much to take in and enjoy inside the house- you could look for hours and probably not see all the art, handmade furniture and crafts. This morning we got to meet Jimmy and learn more of the history of this cute little hideaway. You are blocks from campus and very tucked into your own private paradise. Most importantly, the bed was super comfortable! Thanks Jimmy for sharing your place with us.

This was such a great place to stay it is down town but a very well insulated there was no noise whatsoever! They had such amazing food recommendations as well as wonderful water pressure the shower was so nice! And it was so cool inside where the blankets were so perfect! The alarm system was also great it made us feel so safe and secure which was so nice! Any questions we had she answered very quickly and clearly too!
