Holiday rentals with lake access in Pembrokeshire

We loved Creek Cottage an off grid property. The surroundings were beautiful. We are going back as soon as we can.

This place is sensational. We were four separate families visiting (adults and kids) and had an amazing time. It's even better than the images suggest, worth every single penny and more. The house and grounds were stunning, and everything had a sense of class inside the house. Truly outstanding! The owners communication was highly professional throughout. Look forward to returning next year.

What a slice of heaven! We have just returned from a short break - 2 x adults, 1 x 6 year old and our dog and it's safe to say, we all had the best time! Our hosts were lovely and so helpful. We have stayed at many properties over the last few years and the local information and recommendations offered by the hosts was fabulous! so many great suggestions, we wish we'd have had time to do them all. A return visit is a must. This is a beautiful part of the world where you can explore, recharge and enjoy what the area has to offer. Thank you for a fabulous stay x

We stayed in the boot room just to be clear and the other accommodation I'm certain will be to the same standard. We arrived in the evening and the whole building was like toast waiting to welcome us, no fuss just Richard to point us in the right direction and left to it. The boot room has a kitchen one end and the lounge area the other end. You then had a good size bathroom and next to that was the bedroom. Now more on each - Kitchen - great size, every thing you need for cooking available even though we only used the kettle, fridge and the sink I'm sure you could easily cook breakfast and more if that what you enjoy doing so. I had a quick check this morning and there's pots/pans available along with cereal bowls, spoons, cutlery. Living is a sofa/chair and a TV and very cozy Bathroom has a walk in shower and very modern. Bedroom is large with plenty of room and a double wardrobe. The whole apartment was underfloor heated and like toast the whole time we were there.

Before we even booked Howells place for our holiday, we had a couple of questions, Howell replied to my message very quickly and was very accommodating for our family. Upon arrival the house is very spacious and well looked after it's also much bigger than the pictures would suggest. The house has everything you need for your stay. The garden is a great size and has a swing and slide set for children, our children spent alot of time enjoying the garden. One of the main reasons for choosing Howells place was the added extra of the swimming pool. It is a lovely size and our family spent several hours each day enjoying the pool. Howell allowed us to use one of the empty fields to the side of the house to exercise our dogs, which they throughly enjoyed each day. We can not fault our stay and had a wonderful time. Howell is very responsive to messages and Howells parents were very welcoming and friendly too.

We loved our stay at this location. The property is clean and everything is easy to use. The garden has a lovely decked area, the grassed ares would be tricky to manoeuvre with mobility issues but was fine for us. Lovely surroundings with beautiful countryside and beaches to explore. Excellent property to take a dog too. Would definitely book again.

Loved the cottage and the location, ideal for our two cocker spaniels, who thought they’d landed in heaven … walks from the doorstep to the beach! Just what we needed 👍 there was nothing we needed, which wasn’t provided. Superb local pub with varied menu and lovely, friendly staff. We will definitely be visiting again 😊

Suzy couldn’t have been more helpful in the build up to the booking, or welcoming once we arrived. Tidy, spacious, well maintained, the setting is very special. Highly recommend.

We had a 7 night stay in rose cottage. The cottage was lovely very clean and tidy. The view of the lake and gardens surrounding the cottage where very well kept and nice to look at especially when sitting out on the patio. Suzie and Andrew where perfect hosts and so was their two dogs otis and rossi. Would certainly recommend.

Roseanna was very helpful and accommodating Fetched clean bedding and towels every week was always on the phone checking all was good Would definitely recommend and return myself

We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin in the woods, it was really cosy and well appointed. Well placed for a wonderful 50 min walk to Saundersfoot beach and we were lucky enough to have a rare day of sunshine in January. We came home and lit the hottub around 4:00pm and kept the fire going all evening but found it was still only Luke warm at 10:00pm after using up all the wood provided.. To be fair it was probably a little hopeful in mid winter and didn't really affect our stay. A few little quirks in the cabin like the glurgley shower drain and a shelf for the shampoo and shower gel would have been nice but these were minor and certainly wouldnt stop us recommending this tranquil little gem. All in all a great find!

This was our second stay and as before, Dan was fabulous and always available with recommendations of local restaurants, pubs and other useful bits. Would highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay at Oaktree Cottage. Wenonah is a fantastic host – friendly, helpful, and flexible. The cottage is warm and cozy, and we especially loved the wood burner. Its location is perfect, just a short drive from the coast and larger towns, making it a great base for exploring. We highly recommend Oaktree Cottage and would definitely stay again on our next trip to Pembrokeshire. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Lovely stay at Foxen Holes cottage with my husband, toddler & dog! Beautiful cottage in beautiful peaceful surroundings. Location was perfect, with so much to do in Saundersfoot & in Tenby. Cottage was clean. Great communication with host Joshua, booked very last minute & he was able to provide us with a highchair. Everything provided in kitchen that you need. Thank you so much for the hot drink selection and prosecco, which meant we could have a cuppa straight away after a long drive! We would love to come back & we will definitely recommend!

Our family had a wonderful stay here over the festive period. The house was immaculate with all amenities you will need. The hosts are super friendly and responsive - I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you Quentin and Natasha for making our stay so special!

Fantastic stay and beautiful place and thoughtful touches such as Xmas decs and tea and coffee. Very comfy beds and lovely walks from cottage. Will be coming back next year 😊😊

I booked sycamore cottage for 3 nights for my partners birthday, and it did not disappoint! The hot tub was amazing, very hot, the television outside was a bonus, although there was an issue with our remote not working, they quickly brought round a new one! The photos don't do the place justice, its all modern and cosy! I asked Carys and her team if they would be able to decorate the place as a surprise for my partners birthday, and paid a bit extra for a birthday hamper, they provide you with some options but you can also tell them what extras you would like. I went for the cheeseboard and some fruity ciders, they also added in some chutney, crackers, some local cakes, a bottle of wine and box of chocs! My partner loved the surprise, we were so greatful! Highly recommend!!

We had a lovely stay at the boathouse! It was private with lovely surroundings and we got to use the pool all to ourselves! Great location and lots to do for the dog! Thankyou!

We had a great week at Holmes cottage. The weather was quite mixed but the cottage itself is very spacious in the living room area so there was enough room to spread out. The loft bedroom is very cute and the kids loved it, the ladder is very steep so sure footed guests are needed! Libby had left a lovely welcome for us and was very responsive to any questions. The area is nice and quiet but we mostly went out for day trips to the beaches and Pembroke Castle was fun. Fishguard is lovely and the Dinas Head walk with the pub at one end was brilliant. The kids loved meeting the goats as well! Thanks for a lovely stay.
