Beautiful place outstanding view. Lightning storm over the river was amazing. Very clean and host were SUPER.

We had fun with the family here. Lots of room, had everything we needed. Set up for families. Only complaint would be the beds were low quality and uncomfortable. The area is a little run down, but felt safe.

If you find yourself in Aurora, book Samantha’s place. It is in a great walkable location and has a great view of the River. The house is well appointed and very comfortable for 2 families. Highly recommend!

The carriage house was a perfect place to stay while we explored the are visiting The Ark, zoo and horse park. House was so clean, beds were comfortable it was a perfect place to come back to relax at. We enjoyed bird watching from the balcony every morning Rebecca’s was an amazing host and we highly recommend a tour with Farmer Earl !

We had a wonderful country getaway with my son and my two dogs. (Non-shedding and they wore diapers) lol! This was just as described, it was peaceful and great place to relax. We had meals ready and the place had all the kitchen amenities we needed for home cookin’! The beds were really comfortable and I slept so well, especially with the country air. The outside deck was great for having a meal outside. We had plenty of space to walk the dogs and soak in the Spring air. There’s a few stores and gas stations nearby for convenience and everyone was really nice. I appreciated the washer and dryer, one pod was included so I didn’t have to pack our dirty laundry. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle!

The house was great!! Outdoors was great!! Perfect quiet retreat. Make sure you pick up groceries on your way to the house… stores and restaurants are a little trek away.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet, restful weekend getaway, and Matt's cabin was the perfect place! It was incredibly clean, cozy, and a little off the grid which we really appreciated. We ventured into downtown Madison for some shopping and eating out, which was only about a 25 minute drive from where we stayed. I would highly recommend the cabin for anyone wanting to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life and find some rejuvenation.

I couldn’t have been happier anywhere else. If I had to stay away from home an extended amount of time again this is where I would be. In fact, it felt like home, from the fresh baked goods, local information and a great place to relax after work. Anne and Bill were very friendly and found out we had had mutual friends. One of the best work trips ever. It was definitely home for a couple months.

My two grandsons and I took a little adventure to the countryside and enjoyed every minute. Loved the tiny cottage, the beautiful scenery, and the friendly cows and goats who came to the fence to greet us. The boys made a fire for s’mores and ghost stories. They were amazed at how dark the night got. The cottage was clean, cozy and had everything we needed.
