Holiday rentals in Pig Beach

Our family really enjoyed our time at Seabreeze Villa. The house and location were absolutely beautiful. The kayaks and paddle boards were a great bonus to explore the flats on the beach access in the backyard. The kitchen was well stocked which worked out great for us, we cooked most our meals at the house. The only thing I would point out would be that the backyard has a lot of overgrowth (more than in booking photos), blocking off some of the absolutely stunning views - but that detail is trivial. The host was extremely helpful with recommendations and responsive.

Glenn’s apartment was our base whilst staying in Exuma. The apartment was as described, very clean and comfortable, with complimentary water. It’s right next to Flamingo beach (which you can see from the window!) We had the beach pretty much all to ourselves, it was very beautiful and romantic and a good length for a stroll. Glenn was an excellent host, very attentive and responsive before arrival and throughout our stay. He gave us contact details for the local tour operators (swimming pigs!) and advice on places to get food. He was extremely accommodating with our check in and checkout times, which made our arrival and departure more comfortable than anticipated. He was very proactive checking all was ok with our stay, and when we had aproblem with the TV he helped us sort it quickly. The locals and staff at the liquor store next door are very friendly and helpful. Icy across the road is a licensed taxi driver and can give you a ride if you need. We had a great stay, thank you!

This was our third stay at Sandy Beach Cottages, and we will continue to stay here. The location is amazing, sitting on a 1 1/2 mile beach with beautiful sand. It is a little more remote and less crowded, yet the grocery stores, liquor stores, beaches and restaurants are an easy drive away. The beach is a few steps out the back door. I walked the beach every morning and felt very secure. We also spent some days on this beach. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and plenty of beach towels. The washer and dryer were so convenient to dry towels and swim suits after a full day at the beach. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots and pans and utensils. We cooked every morning breakfast and a few evening meals. The two bedrooms are quiet and allow plenty of storage. The shower was nice and large with good water pressure and hot water. There were tvs in each of the bedrooms and one in the living room. This villa is perfect for two couples providing great space for socializing and privacy.

Loved this place!!! So quiet and peaceful. The beach out front felt like our own private beach. There were two sea turtles that we seen everyday. We went snorkeling out in the sandy area and found several sand dollars. It’s a bit away from the hustle and bustle and food, but we prefer quiet and cooked most our meals. The highway to place is paved nicely except for a small area which still needs paved, but was a way better road than the road down south going to Tropic of Cancer. The dirt road to get to the Airbnb is a little rough, but we just went slow with the car we rented and it did fine. The outdoor Bluetooth speakers she recently installed were a big hit. Would highly recommend this place and we hope to stay again sometime!

Cute, nicely furnished cottage, clean and airy, amid nice landscaping with a pleasant, private back deck. Lots of beach and snorkeling equipment available for guests. Well-equipped kitchen. Plenty of handy electrical outlets. (No table for puzzles or laptop work though.) Communication with the owners is excellent, and the local manager responded promptly to deal with a minor plumbing leak. The walk is short to the nearly empty local beach. And the outdoor shower and foot-washing spigot were very handy after a beach walk. As is typical for Exuma, though, a car is mandatory to reach almost anything else. All in all Canuck Palms was a perfect location for a relaxing and exploring Exuma.

My family enjoyed the stay and would recommend this place to others who travel to Exuma. First is this place is quite private and have easy access to a pebble beach with free kayaks to use. Second we like the discounted boat rental and the convenience to get on/off the boat which is in walking distance from the house. It is super nice to start a boating day. Third, there are plenty of beach towel and sand toys and regular toys in stock. Kids can easily have fun. A few minor things to consider/improve: the mattresses are a little saggy, particularly in the 2nd bedroom. The shower water has very weak flow and you may have to get used to it :)

Linda’s place looked exactly like the pictures. The location in the Hideaways is central on the island and has a lot of great amenities. There is a shuttle service into Georgetown which was ideal for us. The resort also has a pool, restaurant/bar, a private beach and kayaks/paddleboards to use free of charge. Walk to Jolly Hall beach is easy and one of the prettiest beaches I’ve ever seen. There are also some local restaurants that are an easy walk. Linda’s place is very comfortable and has all the amenities you could need- washer/dryer, full kitchen, soap/shampoo, laundry pods, linens. The screened in porch was heavenly to sit in with morning coffee and watch the sunrise. Housekeeper and property manager checked on us several times. We used exuma taxi for transportation and touring. Floyd was great. I will 100% be back for another stay.

We loved our stay at Clinton’s place!! The location is perfect & the bed was so comfy! We couldn’t have asked for a better host! We will be back!
