Went for my brother’s bday!! Had a blast. The villa was clean and had staff daily attending to the villa. Very close to everything and the semi private beach was a definite 2 thumbs up. Will stay again for sure.

Resort 4 Bedroom Villa All Inclusive Fee Mandatory

Simply put: This was a stay of a lifetime! We stayed at Brian's villa at Lifestyles with a small group of girls (late 20s/early 30s) for our annual trip. Brian, his team and the Lifestyles staff were unbelievable hosts that made us feel so welcome and helped us every step of the way, including incremental excursions and late-night pizza requests!! HOST CORRESPONDENCE: From the beginning, Brian was the absolute best with communication. He asked what method I preferred (text, call or email) — he was SUPER helpful and prompt. From the moment we booked, he was over-communicative with literally everything — From booking each guest’s insurance (and updating throughout the trip), coordinating travel accommodations to/from the airport, and even helping to book special excursions with his local network in town. Brian is kind, funny, SUPER responsive and professional. He has a deep understanding of Puerto Plata and the surrounding towns like Sousa. He made us feel safe, welcome and was *literally* our X-Factor to an unforgettable vacation. See more below! ACCOMMODATIONS: As many of the reviews state, the villa is MUCH bigger, cleaner and polished than the photos indicate. It's simply GORGEOUS. Each person got their own room (...which is practically a "wing" by hospitality standards) with plenty of closet space and a large, en-suite bathroom (2 BRs with double sinks suited for couples). The beds, linens and pillows were super comfortable, and each room comes with its own thermostat to adjust the temperature to your liking. We were all comfortable each night and got great sleep! Of note: The water pressure in the Dominican Republic is much different than the States, so should be noted this is not a villa-specific issue. We did have an issue with a faint sewer smell, but we addressed it with Brian in the very beginning and it was quickly remedied. The pool was so fun for early morning dips after a workout and late-night shenanigans. We didn’t use it nearly enough during the days (as they were spent at the beach!), but the pool was such a nice luxury! The villa comes with an outside sound system, but it is difficult to use. We happened to bring a JBL Speaker, which has Bluetooth, and used that as our main audio source for inside/outside music. CLEANING SERVICE: When you leave for the day, your villa is lightly refreshed with bed-making, bath towel refreshments, wipe-downs and garbage take-out. We also frequently woke up to our pool being cleaned and balanced. It’s so nice and you feel completely safe with recurring men and women supporting the same villa each day — you become super familiar with them all! EXCURSIONS: I had asked Brian for recommendations on a boat day for our group. He QUICKLY elevated our experience 10x over and coordinated an AMAZING afternoon on a private catamaran complete with an English-speaking guide (Mirella) who picked us up at the resort and escorted us the full afternoon. Brian and Mirella asked for our refreshment order and the boat was stocked with our favorite vodka, tequila, beer and mixers. It was such an amazing day that we asked to do it again! Brian quickly coordinated ANOTHER, longer afternoon and evening on the boat. Mirella once again picked us up and we partied the day and night away with amazing private catamaran service (and our beautiful, fun, interesting escort Mirella!) The crew on the boat were overly attentive, making drinks and laughing with us all aling! The memories made those two days on the boats will be with our friend group for a lifetime. Best days ever. And huge kudos and limitless thanks to Brian and Mirella for their hospitality and sharing their island network with us. These days were a high four-figure incremental expense (inclusive of tips, etc.), but worth every single penny! FOOD/BREAKFAST: Upon checking in, you’re asked to complete a breakfast questionnaire where each person gets to pick from American Breakfast, Dominican Breakfast, Lite Breakfast and/or Continental Breakfast. We picked a few of each, and each morning at 9AM a chef arrived at our villa to cook an in-kitchen FRESH breakfast for our group (inclusive of freshly squeezed juice!) and ready right before 10AM. It’s served family-style, so you get a taste of everything if you choose right! We had the same chef each morning and grew super fond of him throughout our stay. The daily breakfast was my favorite part of the day — including the fresh flowers that the table is set with! If you need/want to change your time slot (8AM, 9AM or 10AM) or change your order throughout the stay, you just stop by the Real Estate front desk and make the alterations! Simple as that. (We tipped our chef $10 per day.) Some mornings while breakfast was being made, we went to Vienna Cafe (<10 minute walk from villa; 2 minute golf cart ride) for espressos and iced coffees. A great way to start the day! FOOD/LUNCH: When at the resort, we spent every day at either Deja View or NV beach. Both of these beaches are only available to those with VIP Black Bracelets, which Brian’s stay provides. The staff and attendance are just fantastic! We rotated between a few lunch favorites at the two neighboring beaches: spicy falafel salad, falafel wrap, cheeseburger, shrimp tacos, grilled cheese, cheese pizza, and their AMAZING crispy french fries. Our drinks of choice were champagne, mojitos and, of course, the traditional vacation strawberry daiquiri! We tipped $1-$5 per order to the staff, and were always taken care of quickly and kindly. FOOD/DINNER: The food at the resort and at the villa was phenomenal. When we arrived at check-in, we were greeted by a list of reservations that Brian had already made on our behalf. We dined at VIP Simply Gourmet (would recommend the arugula salad with blue cheese and candied walnuts), Moomtaz (“creative ethnic cuisine; BEST desserts at the resort — order the caramelized peanuts with chocolate ice cream and not the vanilla

We absolutely fell in love with the owners and the staff!!! it was a little far to. And not a lot of great places to do yoga that were comfortable. But everything else was absolutely perfect. They go above and beyond. Highly recommend totally worth the price.
