Excellent place to stay in a pinch. I was able to check in at midnight, no problem.

Parking on location can be hit or miss. Great location and great amenities. Healthy store and restaurant on site were a great bonus.

We felt right at home & the staff were very helpful. Breakfast was delicious and I definitely enjoyed the cleaning esa of the entire place.

Escensia nativa seems to be a very special place and it’s worth doing an extended stay. You are so close to the sea, you feel connected to nature and to the people around you. I recommend sunrise / sunset with an ocean view. There are great amenities and lots to do - the staff will help you organise trips out to the local waterfalls, the volcano, and in-house you can organise Spanish lessons, surf lessons, breathwork and yoga classes, Salsa, and ice baths. After all this activity, the hammocks / loungers were perfect for relaxing and reading at the hottest point of the day. The people I met are really sociable. Not far is El Tunco with night life buzz. Highly recommend here as a base for holidaymakers or people who are travelling. A special mention to Alex the owner and Nesse who gave me surf tips and helped me overcome some fear and bad habits with surfing - they both have beautiful souls and are patient, positive teachers.

Loved our stay here, wish we could have stayed longer Staff always around to help and super friendly Pool was spotless, lots of furniture around the pool to relax (hammocks, chairs, sun beds, cabanas) Location was perfect, in the middle of everything and practically on the beach Really good aircon and clean room and bathroom, nice porch area outside the room the relax The place is just gorgeous, thank you so much

Amazing stay at Diegos! The staff are a family that live on site and have been working there for over 10 years. We were a group of 4 friends that split the house and everyone had plenty of room to move in and spread out. We really appreciated being able to take advantage of their kitchen and cook our own meals. The swimming pool is also really nice after surfing for a couple hours and you can't get a closer place to the surf. We'll definitely come back again!

Excellent host, quiet beautiful location. Close walk to Tunco, pool and surrounding grounds where amazing. Would definitely recommend and will stay again.

Really nice and clean

Hotel type boutique longe highly recommended, areas to rest and have a very nice drink, although it is in front of the beach it does not have a direct exit due to a number of stones but you only walk a little and nothing complicated.

Robert is extremely responsive, the place was clean, and the AC works great. I will definitely book again if I go back to Mizata beach. Misael was super nice offered to help us with our luggage, attentive and made himself available 24/7.

I loved the facilities, the view of the city is imposing, especially when seeing the lake and the volcano. The hosts took a lot of initiative with extra activities and the on-site restaurant serves delicious food.

We enjoyed a great stay with Sonia! Close to the historical centre and San Carlos bus station. The room was very clean with a private bathroom and Sonia was extremely helpful and responsive with my questions about check in, check out and advice on things to do. Gracias Sonia!

Cozy room within a beautiful house, with everything you need for a pleasant stay, a mattress so comfortable that it promotes optimal rest. Matty is an exceptional host, she gave very clear directions on how to get to and enter the room so much that it was easy to get to even when I didn't have Internet at the moment, she helped me the next day to solve a problem with my phone network and offered a delicious very rich and healthy breakfast. I would definitely stay at his house again.
