Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Playa Guiones

We recently stayed in Samara at Casa Aspen and enjoyed every bit of it. It was a family trip which included my two 4 year old grandchildren. Easy walk to the beach and town. Lots of very good restaurants and a grocery store. The house was the perfect family house and the kids LOVED the pool.

We had the most amazing stay at Paula's place! It was a peaceful and serene location, an awesome house, and Paula was so helpful and communicative. We can't wait to come back!!

Jackie was an amazing host! She is very willing to help with any questions. She was fun to be with and lives close. The beach was beautiful and safe to swim in. We are a group of 4 couples and the space worked well for us. We highly recommend this property and will return.

The house is superb and very well located a few minutes from Samara and Carillo beach, grocery stores and restaurants. The rooms are spacious with private bathrooms. Only small downside, the neighbor's rooster sings very early in the morning and in various situations...but we get used to it with time. Galileo is very responsive as well as Sandra. I would highly recommend this house. We had a good time there.

Jessica was a fantastic host and I couldn’t have been happier with my stay. The space is exactly as it looks like in the photos—it’s warm, cozy, clean, and very inviting. The location is perfect because you can walk to the beach, directly across the street from one of my favorite little spots. It’s central to restaurants, markets, and local destinations. The pool is so delightful! Especially during the summer season when the days are incredibly hot. 10/10 definitely recommend staying here! Thank you for hosting me, Jessica!!

I gave Kendra’s house 5 stars because we enjoyed the pool, privacy, and views so much. If you are looking for a place that you can spend all day at, this is it. While we occasionally walked to bakers beach, we found it to be just far away enough that we’d normally drive. We were happy that we could see the ocean over the trees from the house. There was a small issue with a non working coffee machine and ants when we arrived. Kendra and her team addressed it immediately for us and we did not miss a beat. Note that this house is vintage and embodies a Pura Vida lifestyle. It is suitable for anyone who enjoys the outdoors. The air conditioning worked well and kept us cool at night. Kendra provided great direction and was very responsive. I’d definitely go back!

We loved Ruth’s home. The layout, while a little odd being separate was perfect for our family. The upstairs master was a quiet haven that we ended up loving. The pool, BBQ and kitchen were a great addition as was Doris. We didn’t follow the key rule and locked ourselves out one night and Doris so graciously came back to unlock the house for us. The monkeys, the quiet little town of Punta Islita and gym were also great additions. We loved our time at Casa de Agua.

Just an amazing stay. Very clean. I’m a little… bougie. But I was quite impressed with the stay and the level of cleanliness, which means a lot coming from me. Well maintained. Great time. Pool was cleaned daily. Jurgen seems like a straight up guy. We had no issues on our stay but I’m sure if we did he would address them rapidly. We were in need of batteries and he had them there within the hour! This is quite the hidden gem. Great value if you’re looking to either A) just sit poolside and relax Or B)treat it like your home base. Use the money you’re saving compared to other similar places that are double the price and not even as clean, and rent a car and travel all over The cherry on top was the groundskeeper, Jenaro. What an incredible human being. When you stay here, feel free to ask Jurgen or Jenaro about what he recommends. You can’t go wrong. Must stay place. No complaints 10/10

A nice oasis in quiet Pelada, with a cool dipping pool in the middle of the two cabanas to share. We were lucky that we knew the other couple in cabana 2 but they were private enough that I don’t think it would have mattered if we didn’t. Close to Sunrise coffee which is great breakfast. We bought coffee and fresh fruit from the market and made breakfast smoothies every day while there. Highly recommend renting a golf cart or ATV to get around as, while the beach and Pelada restaurants are walkable, you will want the broader range to get to Guiones or old town Nosara. Place was modern and clean.

Beautiful place and amazing staff. Pool was so refreshing and always spotless. Staff were very attentive and willing to please. Amazing location and an easy walk to the beach and delicious local restaurants. Definitely recommend and will hopefully be revisiting soon.

The best part about this Airbnb is its proximity to the beach and restaurants. You’re a 3 min walk away from everything and roots cafe is right around the corner!

Could not have asked for a better place to stay in Nosara. Close to everything, including a short stroll to the beach, restaurants, cafés, hotels and bars. The home felt very safe and secure. The information about the area that the host provided was extremely helpful in putting together an itinerary. The outdoor patio was a highlight as a shady spot to enjoy time outdoors. I would stay here again.

Great location! Walkable to everything in Playa Guiones while feeling nice and private. Host were proactive with check-in instructions making it an easy arrival and stay.

If you're looking for a safe place close to the beach, but far enough for some calm, this place is it! The bikes look worn, but they did a perfect job - they had WD40 we sprayed onto the chains. You can hear howler monkeys and different kinds of birds, especially in the mornings - very lovely. Would definitely recommend!

A Hidden Gem – 10/10! This place was our favorite stay in Costa Rica! The condo is beautiful, fully equipped, and right on the beach with stunning views—even from the balcony. The pool area is lovely, with plenty of seating to relax. Junquillal is a quiet, charming retreat. We mostly cooked at home, but there are restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Tamarindo is just 40 minutes away, perfect for day trips. The condo includes boogie boards, surfboards, and beach gear. The surfboards were a bit advanced for us, but the amazing property manager delivered a foam board—such a highlight! Perfect surf out back, poolside afternoons, and sunset walks filled with seashells made this trip unforgettable. Highly recommend—worth booking! We’ll be back!

The views and modern comforts at Alta Vista Condos are great and just as described and shown in the listing. What sets Patrick’s place apart from lots of others in Samara is his attention to detail, cleanliness, and responsiveness to any concerns. We’ve traveled a lot in CR and Central America and Patrick’s property is far better managed and maintained than others in the area. He and Hilda are right next door, and he has friendly staff onsite keeping the property clean and looking beautiful. Alta Vista’s location is the perfect blend of walkable yet away from the hustle of Samara town. We have already booked our next stay at Alta Vista when we return to Samara!

We stayed in the Condo for over a month and the place was a great location. The condo is well equipped for a young family and has everything you need. The host and manager are great at dealing with any issues and they actively try to solve any problems or request promptly. The A/C and fans was perfect for the climate and the family had no problems sleeping in the condo. The swimming pool is perfect for both younger and older children and they can be supervised comfortably from the Rancho. The laundry facilities work well and are big enough to accommodate a family wash when needed. A shop on the corner for most ingredients and cold drinks. The surrounding neighbours are so kind and engaging with us and the children and we often shared breakfast or drinks outside with them. The people here really do make the stay safe and more enjoyable. The wildlife in the immediate area is incredible from monkeys and iguanas to horses and coati’s all while having a coffee on the balcony. Thank you!

We had a great stay in Samara, great option for travelling with a child. Pool was superb and a short walk to the beach (just a bit steep but certainly manageable). Beautiful views from the condo. Host was very helpful with responding to questions and booking tours.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The pool was great and the beaches nearby were a lovely addition. The kitchen is fully equipped which we really appreciated. Far enough away from all the hustle and bustle of tourists but close enough to pop into town for the day should you choose to explore Tamarindo. The hosts were a pleasure to deal with from the start to finish. Clean, quiet and accessible.

We stayed in Casa Roja for two weeks and we really enjoyed it... Really nice, clean and well-maintained place where you can feel relaxed. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is a very nice addition. The small studio is very cozy, nicely decorated and has everything you need to prepare morning coffee and dinner (there is a two-plate induction cooktop). We appreciated the bathroom with well working shower and hot water (which is not so common in Costa Rica). The studio has a great location - just about 10 - 15 minutes walk to Samara and the beach. There is a grocery store and very good pizza restaurant nearby, so you do not need to go to the city to do your grocery often. We felt very safe there. My wife and I currently live in the San Jose area of Costa Rica and we have traveled throughout Guanacaste province quite a bit. This was our first time in Junquillal and it exceeded all expectations! The condo Vi has is simply magical. It's a place that seems like it was designed to help you unwind. Very, very relaxed atmosphere and the best balcony view we've ever experienced (the sunsets were breathtaking). The condo has everything you'll need. Junquillal is for travelers that want to avoid the bustle of the more touristy areas. Highly recommended. We hope to return soon.
